Property Ratings at Conestoga Park I
This is the 2nd review my 1st was not posted. Do not move in if your trying to save money!. you spend $200+ on your electricity bill since building is NOT isolated, also there are 2 owners to these apartments. You can see if you drive around here 1/2 of the building has new windows and insolation by one owner and the other owner cannot afford to fix the other 1/2 i dont understand where the rent goes then?. I was promised as soon as i moved in this was going to get fix 3 YEARS AGO!!...not worth it if your trying to save money.

I lived here from 2015-2020. I gave it three stars because of maintenance and price increases. Everything else was great. I can honestly say I loved my time here otherwise. The parks surrounding the complex are BEAUTIFUL. There’s lots to do (basketball court, tennis courts, swimming pools). Management is fantastic! Anna and the other girls have always been very kind, helpful and quick to respond to any requests or issues I’ve had. Maintenance on the other hand was much less than ideal. In five years, I only needed emergency maintenance once and it happened on a Sunday when the leasing office is closed. The number for emergency maintenance didn’t work so I dealt with a flooded kitchen by myself. There’s mold issues with the bathrooms. I’ve tried leaving the bathroom door open during showers and I use the fan every time but mold buildup still happens and maintenance is slow to take care of it- if they ever respond at all. Every year rent increases a little bit but 2020 was particularly annoying. Water/sewage/trash used to be included in the rent and now it’s a separate fee. The cost to use the laundry facilities also increased even when nothing was done to them (no upgrades, additional washers/dryers, etc). Pairing those two with the usual rent increase was disappointing but management was kind enough to discount everyone’s rent $50 when Covid hit really hard in March and April. All in all, I’d still recommend this place to anyone who wants a big space for a lower cost.
High dollar dump. Maintenance in minimal. Loud music and rarely any resident parking, especially if recreation room (LOL), has been rented. Waste of time calling office with any concerns. No one in management lives at this place. I wouldn't either. Looking forward to moving soon to a place that the rent actually is worth it.

Let's start with the management; not helpful whatsoever. Then something breaks you get maintenance and wait months to even hear back. You also have to deal with a shortage of parking and loud neighbors. 1/10.
If you think it's a good deal due to being somewhat cheaper, think again. Not kept up, noisey and outdated. I have been awakened by my neighbors (I share a wall) several nights, on two occasions to people arguing in the parking lot out front (high class place lol!) The rent has nearly doubled since I moved in around 4 years ago. Another increase this year of 100-200.00. With everyone moving here and to Oregon, I think it's safe to say the rent will continue to keep going up significantly. So, enjoy the intense heat in the summer, extreme cold in the winter (high utility bills)due to the poor insulation, the noise and the dirt (the outside is NEVER cleaned), the old popcorn ceilings and dark formica cupboards and doors leftover from the 70's. I hear my neighbors talking who are several apartments away and a baby crying as I write this! I am getting out as soon as I can.
These apartments are like I said, alright. The problem they have though, if you're living on the second floor, don't count on there being AC during the summer, no matter how many fans or windows we have open, it's still super hot. Another thing, they are very picky about their rent, if they don't receive their money all together on the same day as everyone else you're living with has done, then you'll never hear the end of day. The people there are nice, it's just how they run things...could be improved on.
