Property Ratings at Contigo Ingleside
Watch out, this complex bribes residents with gift cards to leave good reviews to cover up the bad ones. Lots of hidden fees, mold infested apartments, nothing gets fixed properly, and they will lie about residents to cover up there wrongdoing.
I just went to take a tour and the ladies in the office were very nice, the pool area was soo pretty and for it being what I think is an older apartments, it's really nice there.
The office staff was super friendly and very helpful. The property was clean and well managed. The amenities are very nice!
We have had issues with Contigo every step of the way and do not recommend them at all. Management changes often but somehow they get worse. They messed up our rent amount online and we got charged a late fee for not paying the wrong amount and they refuse to make it right. They must be really hurting to choose that $55 fee rather than be reputable. Management does not care for or are kind to their tenants. They said everyone gives excuses for being late on rent as if they money is what we're worried about. We went in 2 times trying to get our rent fixed but somehow they want to say its our fault. They make constant mistakes and we didn't even get into our apartment on our move-in date because they decided to change the flooring last minute. We were understanding for that but they can't fix their OWN problems and treat their tenants right.
Good luck if you choose to live here. Price just keeps going up and these apartments are not worth what they are asking. New owners just took over and they are raising prices again. Been here less than 2 year and they have been sold twice in a year. Water and trash charges are ridiculously priced and increases every month. AC units are constantly going out and things are not properly fixed. Also no notice before they just enter into your apartment. Guess they don’t care that you are supposed to give residents a certain amount of time before entering if it’s not an emergency. Pool is cloudy and green the majority of the time therefore there is no point in having a pool. When something needs to be fixed it not properly done and they basically just cover up the problem. Save your time and money and avoid the hassle.
This property has gone downhill since the new owners took over. Rent has gone up and now residents have all kinds of extra fees on top of that. The apartments are decent on the inside but need better sealed windows and doors. You can hear everything from outside, even every car drives by. The valet trash service is a joke. Half of the time they don’t even show up and trash sits outside apartment doors for days which attracts bugs and other critters. The partying and noise in the middle of the night gets old. Cops are at this location pretty frequently between noise complaints, fighting, drugs, etc. The amount of dog poop on the property is disgusting. Residents do not pick up after their animals and it stinks. Can’t even go by the dog park due to the smell. Have noticed so many people moving out since the new ownership took over. Sad to see a place go downhill so quickly.
When i first moved in; the area and lawn were clean and kept, the property managers were nice and great listeners and they always helped us out if need be. There are schools near by, and plenty of grocery stores as well. We have a 8 month old and the apartments are perfectly sized for him to run around in his little walker. Kitchen is nicely sized with a little extra room for pots and pans as well as dishes.
Lots of partying at the apartments. Sometimes it lasts until 3-4 in the morning. They say quiet hours are 10pm-10am but they do not enforce anything on the property. Also have issues with bugs in apartment and ants on balcony and by entryways. They are supposed to come regularly to spray but they only come if you make a request. Even then, the guy that comes only sprays under the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Does not spray around entry doors or baseboards. Pool is closed majority of the time. It has not been open in over a month and completely green. Could definitely use some work inside the apartments since they have raised the prices on everything and added extra monthly fees. Rules also need to be enforced.
