Property Ratings at Cooper Hill Apartments
I returned the keys, but they still did not give me the deposit, and it's been 3 months already.
It’s a great place to live but maintenance guys harasses you and watches your every move like your a prisoner in your own home landlord goes by what he says he’s never asked your side of the story or what’s going on racist only wants his kind there it’s too bad !!
Usually, a fairly quiet and friendly place to live. Problem tenants usually don't last long on the property. The property has a live in maintenance worker who keeps an eye out and is quick to respond to service calls and report problems. Heating and hot water included with the cost of the rent. Newer tenants get renovated units as they are updated when older tenants leave. The apartment complex is located near exit 2 of I-384 and several franchise restaurants within a three block radius (DD, McD, Subways, BK, Chinese Takeout, Pizzerias, and within 5 minutes from the Manchester Parkade shopping area. About 10 minutes from the much bigger Manchester Buckland Mall and South Windsor Evergreen Mall. I-91 can be easily reached by hopping on I-291 from Manchester, I-84 cuts across Manchester. Within walking distance to old downtown Manchester's main street and seven minutes from Manchester Community College and 30 minutes from the University of Connecticut main Storrs Campus. Washington Elementary school across the street. The downside? Kitchens are super small, even in the larger two bedroom and townhouse apartments. Expect very little counter space for food prep and kitchen appliances. A single wall outlet for the kitchen so expect to buy an AC power strip. Kitchen and bathrooms in older apartments are dated, but newer renovated apartments are much nicer. Few electrical outlets in other rooms. Visitors tend to illegally park in residents assigned parking spaces to much of an annoyance to other tenants. Tow service have to be called by tenants to have those vehicles removed, sometimes. Rental increases each year. No gym or pool onsite.
This is a good place to live in for a college student. It's near the College itself, Bike trail across the street and a gas station/D&D/Subway just about 3 blocks away. Bus stop is also next to the apartments that goes to Buckland Hills Mall, MCC, Downtown Hartford. Quiet Neighborhood all of the neighbors are polite and they keep to themselves which is a godsend!. For the past 4 years rent has gotten up by $100 for my 2 BR apt. The Landlord is a good guy. If you need help with anything he will do his best to help you right away and he also follows up on you to see if you still have a problem with something. Overall a good place to live in.
