Copper Beech at Ames

I absolutely loved living here!! The amenities (pool, gym, tanning stations, and fun community events hosted by copper) have made living here so fun! The location is top tier. It is a reasonable walk to the stadium for football games and an easy drive to the commuter lots for class. The spacious layouts makes the apartments feel more home like. The maintenance team has an incredible response time and fully takes care when providing their maintenance on your apartment. I loved living here and would recommend this to anyone wanting a bigger apartment, lots of amenities, great location, and wanting a sense of community in the place they are living:) love copper beech!!

Copper Beech has been SO great to me. They have so many activities going on each week in the amazing clubhouse. It is in a great area that is close to campus as well as Duff Ave. The apartments really feel like home and have so much space. 10/10 would recommend living

love living at copper beech. very spacious and fun events at the club house. during the hotter time of year i spent a lot of time on my deck with friends. every month they have a couple events at the club house my favorite one recently was grocery bingo. the bus stop is also very close and convenient for getting to campus. the 24/7 gym is also great it’s free to use for residents and i definitely used it a bit. spent a bit at the pool swimming and hangout with friends and even the friendly people in the clubhouse came out to talk and bring popsicles for everyone at the pool on hot days. property was always well maintained and the community is always friendly and fun. i’m graduating this year but sad to be leaving copper beech. highly recommend living at copper with your friends each get there own space and bathroom as well.

You will NEVER run out of space. Copper beech is known for their spacious housing and good amenities. they have a 24/7 gym that will give you no excuse not to workout, as well as tanning beds for the winter. they are great with snow removal and talking care of any maintenance issues you may have.

I have lived here for 3 years now and I am so sad to be leaving! I am constantly greeted by the front desk, they make an effort to know my name and ask me how I'm doing every day. While everyone complains about maintenance, This year has been the best year, while everything seemed to go wrong with the ware and tare with my roommate and I being there for so long, maintenance came and took care of it instantly. The events are so fun! It makes it easy for people to make friends especially when they are new to the area!

The staff at Copper Beech is always very helpful and accommodating. These apartments come fully furnished and the space is unmatched.

I love how this place comes fully furnished and the staff has been nothing but nice and amazing. Maintenance always responds quick and does an excellent job at resolving any problems.

The maintenance is quick and is very friendly. The townhomes come fully furnished which is nice because I live 6 hours away from Ames. It's nice to not have to pack a bunch of furniture! I bring my pup in every day for a treat!!

Wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. The staff and the community are so great. I feel so safe when I’m at home or walking around. The amenities are a bonus.

I had an issue with the cold weather and me leaving a window open over night. I had a couple questions and fixes that needed to happen. I went to the Clubhouse and everyone there was super friendly and helpful. A maintenance person fixed it immediately.

The location is great, the grounds always look fantastic, it's pet friendly, and the admin are fun, enthusiastic, and genuine! It has great events and the free food is always nice. Thank you for your hard work and making this place feel like home.

Such a spacious and comfy living space! The amenities are also such a great plus, I love the tanning beds! There are always such fun events that make the community feel so welcoming!

I have been living here at copper beech since August and I LOVE it here!!!! I resigned my lease and am living here next year as well. The rooms are so spacious, and I love having my own bathroom. The closet space is amazing.

We like our apartment and it is very spacious. Copper Beech also had a lot of amenities which is nice!

The price is perfect and as a college student it has all the amenities I could ever need and more. It’s also only two minutes from campus and you get so much space!

I have had a great experience living at Copper Beech the last 2 years. The home is spacious and there are great amenities that go with it. The staff is always friendly and there are great events each month. The grounds are always clean and maintained very well, and there is lots of space for me to walk my dog on the grounds. I would recommend living here!

My apartment has everything I could ever need. The furniture it comes with is in great condition. All of the appliances work well and I love the layout of the 2 bed x 2.5 bath. The clubhouse does so many fun little things like a caramel apple bar, pool party, and giveaways every Wednesday! I love it here, which is why I renewed my lease for a second year and will probably do it again next year!

So much space in the townhomes! Thought I wanted the apartment lifestyle but not going back after living here!

During my stay at Copper Beech, I have really enjoyed meeting new friends, being close to campus, and all the activities they have in the clubhouse. I definitely would recommend staying at Copper Beech if you have a chance.

I love living here, you cannot get this much space, your own bathroom, and a guest bathroom for that price anywhere. Individual leases make it extremely nice as well. Just resigned my lease for next year!

Copper Beech at Ames is a great place to live. What you are paying for rent is a good price for what benefits you receive. For students, the CyRide bus has a stop right across the street and is one of the best apartment options in Ames. Highly recommend!

I have been living at Copperbeech for over a year now and have enjoyed it greatly. The rooms and housing options are amazing and for the price you are getting everything you should be. The maintenance team could use a little work and setting up the rooms for first time move in could be a bit better but other than that I can easily say I’ve been loving comfortable. Expect noisy neighbors because it’s that kind of area if you’re into that. If not it’s still not bad living you just gotta deal with the noise.

Copper Beech has been a great townhome for me and my roommates during our time at Iowa State. We love all of the amenities and the fun events they host!

I loved my experience at Copper Beech, the townhouse was everything that I was looking for and the staff there helped make my move a smooth transition! Not to mention that maintenance was super quick!

Copper has been one of the best off campus housing complexes during my time at Iowa State. They always have events and giveaways for the residents and the townhomes offer a ton of space.

Staff is very fun and helpful, and you pay MINIMAL utilities!

Great space and amenities, staff is very helpful.

The management is extremely bad. Service request takes weeks to complete. WiFi and power cuts out at least one every 2 weeks. The “gym” is nothing more then a small set of dumbbells, a lifting machine and treadmills. The pool is never open, it was open for once every couple months. When you move out they charge you as much as they can. I got charged $150 in cleaning fees
