Property Ratings at Copper Creek Apartments
Apartment itself has nice vinyl flooring, but despite the fact that I kept it pristine I was still charged for over $300 "repair" after moving out. I don't even wear shoes inside, and I swept and mopped every week. On move in, Some shelving was loose in the walk in closet and used very cheap materials overall. Not to mention that despite everything being in near perfect condition, I didn't get my deposit back yet. Management also doesn't allow back-in parking, and instead of a paper under your wiper, they will slap a STICKER on your window that is difficult to remove and will leave residue. Also, a laundry door FELL on me and they tried to charge me for it. When I refused, they gave me a new door that didn't fit so it couldn't be closed all the way.
I would look the other way and look for another apartment. Upon applying, you are expected to pay a $300 holding fee on top of the $55 application fee BEFORE you even find out if you're going to be accepted or not. And if you happen to get denied on your application, the $300 refundable holding fee will be MAILED BACK in a cheque form in the old address you put down. Now, if I'm looking for a new place to live (such as this one), why would I want anything to be mailed to my previous address? And the refund will take about a month to process. And I would have already gotten a place by then. Also, not everyone has another $300 to pay for another holding fee to ANOTHER apartment? Does your corporate ever think about that? Yeah, I would not even think about applying here. Huge waste of time and money. And the place is not even that nice looking for how much they are asking. It's small, and the walls are very thin
Loved our first year at Copper Creek- rent was reasonable, apartments were decent, had no maintenance issues, the side we lived on was nice and quiet- we truly had no problems. One night, my parking pass fell off of the rear view mirror in my car and was laying on my dash board. Instead of a warning, I got immediately towed. There were about 6 other covered parking spots open. About 3 weeks later, I noticed a car parking under covered spots with no permit in sight and they were left alone. This was my first bad impression from this complex- not even a warning for their paying residents, but an automatic tow for a simple mistake. A complex that cared about residents would not do this- a complex that cares only about money would. Secondly, they thought it was a great idea to install hardwood floors on the upper level units. My partner and I have not had a decent night's sleep in months due to the constant stomping of our upstairs neighbors. Every pin-fall can be heard. Lastly, there are apartment inspections twice a year. Normal for apartments, no problem. Last year they threw in a fire inspection and a leasing inspection as well, so there were four inspections in one year. They do not tell you when they will be entering other than a 12 hour window on a specific day. They also do not leave any indication that they have already been to and completed the inspection of your apartment- no note, inspection checklist, etc. Coming home after a long day of work, it would be nice to know if I can hop in the shower or get comfortable as I may still have people entering my apartment. How hard is it to leave a notice of completion? These reasons, while inconvenient, were not enough for me to write this review. I understand apartment complexes often come with drawbacks and management companies cannot please everybody. The reason for this review is an email I got two minutes ago from management notifying residents that water would be turned off complex-wide tomorrow from 9am-5pm due to scheduled repairs. Why, if this repair was scheduled, am I receiving notice that I need to stock up on water for bathroom activities, cooking, etc less than twenty four hours before I will be without water? Why couldn't we have been notified earlier? Simple- management does not care about their residents. I have lived in several other complexes and have loved them all. I am not hard to please. I advise anyone searching for apartments to look elsewhere.
Find a different complex to live in. The walls are thin, maintenance is slow, appliances are outdated, dog runs are a complete joke, staff is clueless, and your vehicle gets towed if your parking pass falls off the rear view mirror. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I am not the type of person to take the time to write a review online. If zero stars was an option, that’s what I would give this regret.
Moved in on a one year lease. It was great in the beginning, but now I can't wait to leave. There is only one parking pass, and no reserved parking. There is very little uncovered parking, unless you live in the back of the development. It would be great if you live alone or aren't home too often. This community is super dog friendly, but everyone I've encountered is really nice. The office staff make it very uncomfortable if you come in for anything, including the business center. There is also a 60 day WRITTEN notice required to move out. Interior: my apartment didn't look too different from the one we were shown, but a lot was broken when we moved in. Maintenance guys are pretty nice. The first repair that had to get taken care of, the guy left a huge mess all over my kitchen and bathroom. (Microwave repaired and bathroom sinks) Ran out of hot water multiple times during the cold winter months too.
ALL THESE NICE REVIEWS ARE ONLY HERE BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE WANTED THEIR APPLICATION FEE WAIVED AND WERE TOLD TO DO THIS. SO BASICALLY ALL THE LEASING OFFICE DO IS HARASS YOU EVERY CHANCE THEY CAN THEN THEY GIVE YOU A 5 DAY NOTICE TO MOVE IF YOU DON'T COMPLY TO THEIR RULES. ALSO THEY DON'T LIKE KIDS... SO IF YOU HAVE KIDS THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOUR FAMILY.
Some of the staff is so rude and makes me feel uncomfortable when i go to the office in need of something. Yesterday a man from managment came to my door and was pounding on my door because i had some stuff outside, i was not aware that we arent allowed to keep stuff outside but the way he approached me about the issue was so unproffesional and RUDE. They have also been adding extra charges to my rent and i am definetley getting a lawyer, still stuck on a 2 year contract, but will make sure i get back my money that they have just taken out of my bank even when my rent was paid on time! Be very carefull when considering where you move and for how long.
I have to shoot straight, this place is awesome and has excellent amenities. A bit on the pricey side but absolutely get what you pay for. Great neighbors and convenient locations. We have access to local shopping and cuisine, literally within walking dustance. Great floor plans to choose from, reliable maintenance crews. I mean what more can you ask for...!
Copper Creek welcomes large dogs has two pools. Is close to public transportation and store. We have a computer room and game room in the clubhouse
this is a great opportunity to view sin city from the west side. its great everyone really friendly quite peaceful area. the area really clean as well
We have resided her for about a year. The 1 bedroom we are in is very large with alot of storage. Our shifts are varied and we are gone at strange hours. There is no problem with this as there are armed security officers. The neighborhood is good but the fact that we have that added extra allows us to carry on with no fear.
we are close to public bus stop. Have a Walmart grocery store next door.A Fresh and Easy across the street A play ground for the kids and a dog park
Really nice apartment complex. Everything is maintained well and LOVE having no carpets in my unit. 2 pools and they just added free WiFi to the complex that you can stream Netflix with. Seem to be always updating things so that's great
I absolutely love my apartment at copper creek. I really enjoyed the fact that I had great neighbors. The staff at the front office was always ready to help with anything that I needed. They make us feel important and found a way to connect with us every time we stopped by. I had a few minor issues with my apartment and just simply submitted a request and within a day the issue was fixed. The location of the apartments are very convenient for all of my shopping needs. Having the strip within minutes was also amazing. The pool and gym were both exceptional and the best part about my experience is that I felt comfortable within the complex and I would definitely recommend this apartment to all of my friends and family who are looking for a luxury apartment.
Pros: It is an excellent place to live if you have a dog! There are lots of grassy areas to walk your pets and a dog park in the main area. However, if you do not live near the main office, it will not be convenient. Another plus is that they have temporary, furnished apartments and short-term leases. If you are seeking a very short-term rental or have a dog, this is a fair choice. Cons: The appliances are outdated. They have recently installed wood floors on all levels, which is a terrible idea in multi-level apartment buildings. You can now hear every step and sound your neighbor makes or vice-versa. So, forget any privacy you may be seeking. Additionally, they will only permit one (1) covered parking space regardless of how much rent you pay, how big your family is or the size of the unit you lease. When it is over 100 degrees half the year, this is something to consider since the sun may damage your car if it is not shaded. The storage closets on the patios do not lock well. If it is a windy day, you may find it blown open even when locked, upon your return home. Therefore, you can not store anything in the patio storage, unless you hope to have it stolen. Lastly, the gates are always open during the day, allowing vagrants and strangers to simply wander into the complex. There has been an increase in dangerous crimes in the complex in 2015. Although management has allegedly hired a new security company, they have done little more than ticket residents' cars for parking violations. If you are concerned about safety for your family, you may wish to consider other options.
This is a wonderful place to live. Copper Creek has two weight rooms and two pools. They have weekly yoga classes and monthly special events for tenants . It is close to shopping, great restaurants, the freeways, and about 10 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. Copper Creek is pet friendly and has dog runs through out the complex. They have on site security and the maintenance staff is tops. They are on top of all situations that arise. The office staff of Copper Creek are friendly and helpful. There is a nice selection of both large and small apartments as well as furnished and unfurnished apartments. We really enjoy living at Copper Creek Apartments.
I really enjoyed living in these apartments. It's a nice quite neighborhood. The apartment was cozy and was good quality for the price. The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the staff at the front office. It seemed like they had attitudes at times and gave me misinformation or the run around about certain charges or how we could pay for our last months rent. Overall, I would recommend living here. Especially if your looking for an affordable place in a nice neighborhood.
Pros - Apartment and rooms within are quite spacious; property seems well-kept; pool area seems nice; Toni is a very personable leasing agent. Cons - No tennis court (however, there is a ping pong table); online price was lower than actual price due to an increase in demand.
Very clean one bedroom with much storage. The bedroom is huge however the closet could be bigger and is not insulated. The amenities are a big reason why we moved here as well as the location of the many stores right next door to the complex.
