Property Ratings at Copper Mill
Bugs and they don’t care to fix the bug issue, loud neighbors !!!! Water issues !! Ac issues X bad communication, I would give this place 0 stars if I could
I am a current resident, and my experience has been TERRIBLE. Here's 20 reasons you should never EVER move here. 1. When touring the model, there were several light fixtures and fans throughout the apartment. We were told the same would be in ours, they were not. There is no ceiling light in the bedroom. 2. The curtains are cheap and terrible. Break extremely easily. 3. When we moved in during the winter, the heat was broken. WE HAD NO HEAT WHEN WE MOVED IN. FOR WEEKS. 4. When we moved in, our washer looked like it was from 1980. We were told modern appliances. It broke. They replaced it. That one broke too and ruined our clothes. Maintenance staff is extremely nice though. 5. There is a cockroach problem, we complained about it for months before it was fixed. 6. Smells from other peoples bathrooms/kitchens will waft into your apartment. No matter what you do to fix it, you won't be able to. Management will make bare minimum efforts to fix it as well. Smell is so bad that you cannot go into your own bathroom sometimes, 7. Pretty sure there could be a mouse problem. 8. The area around the mailboxes is always filled with trash. Theres also nowhere for you to send out mail. 9. While living here there has been a SWAT raid and a street brawl. Zero word from management about that. 10. There are not nearly enough dumpsters, on the weekend they overflow with trash and the area around them is filled with broken glass. 11. Zero recycling areas. 12. Leafblowers come weekly around 8am, but they simply blow the leafs onto our patio. 13. Theres just a whole bunch of nasty dark brown stains on our ceiling????? 14. This place accumulates dust so fast, I have never seen anything like it in my life. 15. If you are over 6 feet tall you will constantly hit your head on their hanging light. 16. Extreme lack of outlets, but theres an ethernet port in the kitchen for whatever reason. 17. Closet hangers are not durable. 18. Insulation in apartment is TERRIBLE. 19. The few light fixtures we do have are extremely outdated. Straight out of 1970. 20. Walls/doors are not thick, can hear the footsteps of people walking outside our apartment at all hours.
I have lived in a lot of apartments and Copper Mill is the best. The staff is always willing to help with any issues. The grounds are always neat and tidy. I have only had a couple of maintenance issues, and they were taken care of very quickly. Management is available any time there is a problem. I would tell anyone this is a great place to live.
I love the area and it's really amazing when you love your apartment too! The staff and neighbors are friendly. Couldn't ask for a better home!
