I really love living in Copper Mill Village. I have been here for 5 years and have never had any problems with the Management. The are very attentive to all maintenance and questions regarding my concerns.
I was very pleased when I first moved in here, now unhappy that we renewed with this complex. Until the new staff, we had prompt maintenance to resolve our issues... it has been a little past a month just to fix the SINK! The water takes about 10 minutes to fill a pot for cooking. This was mentioned numerous to the office, who cares nothing but getting a pay check working there. It seems like we don't get service anymore. I understand the high rating of this place before, but it's becoming a nightmare here!!! Also, they don't attend to the gates that get broken. Don't even have to use the gate pass anymore for the pass 6 plus months.
It's a very quiet neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and keeps it residences up to date on things happening in the complex. Best of all I can't hear talking nor the footsteps of my neighbors living above me and beside me which is very big to me. Also everything from restaurants, banks, grocery stores are all within walking distance.
I like how everyone keeps to thereself and i dont have to worry about where i leave my car or if i forget to lock it
Current management has a steady history of employment--at least one year. Prior leasing agents and managers were usually gone after a few months. This current staff makes efforts to put together social events. Occasionally, the dumptster gets backed up, but this has improved a bit lately. My biggest complaint is the fact I can hear my neighbors too easily, even if they are not being unreasonably loud. As i am not an architect, i do not know what to suggest to overcome this.
Clean, tenant focused, diverse community. The office is always thinking about creative events which allows the tenants to socialize (BRAVO!)

I like that it is close to shopping centers and restaurants. It is also convenient to Greensboro and Winston Salem. I feel safe at Copper Mill Village allowing my daughter to come in from school alone. The other residents are very nice and friendly. The are also mindful about noise during certain hours.
The office staff and maintenance staff are the best; plenty of room in the apartment; the location is close to shopping,Post Office,etc.; and a feeling of safety.
Location, pond, spaciousness of apartment, dog park, and quick repair turnaround.
Staff are very friendly including maintenance employees. Repair work done on time. Copper Mill Village apartment meet my expectation.

For the money, you can't get a better deal than Copper Mill Village. The apartments are nice inside and have a great layout plan. I liked the community so much that I recommended it to my friend and now she is a resident. Likes and suggestions: The management is very organized, helpful and have great communication skills! Maintenance works hard to take care of problems in a timely manor. I feel safe living here which is a big plus! I like the fact that there are walkways all around the area as well as a gym. The pool is amazing and is well kept.

It is in a prime area for fun things to do, as well as plenty of restaurants surrounding the area. I also love the staff here. They are extremely helpful and take pride in the work they do. They are courteous and always there to assist me when I've needed it.

Dog feces everywhere despite the fact that ample pet stations and bags are available. Had to wait past the mandatory 30 day period to get security deposit back. Even at that I had to contact property manager personally.

My likes and dislikes about this community are: I think the staff is wonderful. They do everything they can to keep their residents happy. I do not like the parking. At my building there are MANY people that park in 2 spaces which makes others have to park elsewhere. Also, the dumpster is an issue. I live beside the dumpster and there are many times when people put their trash outside of the dumpster and down the stairs. I have had company visit when this has happened and it is embarrassing.

As far as the actual apartment set-up, I love the sunroom, larger kitchen and bathroom but the closet space is lacking and should be bigger to accommodate a couple sharing the master bedroom.

Dislikes: The parking is bad. people take up 2 spaces, they park in areas that are not made for parking, and people park their cars for 3-4 week right in front of the building. They should have a long term parking area. also dislike the fact that people ride my bumper to get pass the gate. I have seen people almost have the gate close on their cars.

The staff is friendly for the most part. The grounds could be kept up a little better. Maintenance is great. Pool area is nice. The work out facility could use some improvement.

I have been here three years now and a lot of things around Copper Mill has improved. What I dislike is the parking in certain areas of the complex. In my opinion I think we need assigned parking because some families have more than one car.
