Property Ratings at Copper Ridge
The dumpsters are always over flowing and trash is littered everywhere in the area. When you enter you see a recycle bin filled with trash and the whole area around it. Their garbage service misses most people or leave it on the curb. The place looks like a slum. Good luck trying to even find a parking spot. The terrible office staff blame everyone else for their lack of parking.

Dear Resident, we completely understand your frustration and want to assure you that we are taking your concerns seriously. Will you stop by our office or email our community manager, Brooke, at copperridge@legacypartners.com at your earliest convenience? We would like to work towards resolving these issues as quickly as possible. We look forward to speaking with you.
I've lived at Copper Ridge in Renton for several years, and I only renewed my current lease because of the convenient location to amenities and to where I work. But the pandemic has pretty much made none of that matter anyway. This property used to be managed by Greystar, and they were excellent. But the past few years it's been managed by Legacy Partners, and they've done an absolutely terrible job. They've let EVERYTHING fall apart, from the covered parking areas, to the laundry rooms, to the fitness rooms, to the pool. In the laundry rooms, nearly all of the machines are either broken or don't wash and dry properly, and they're sticky, dirty and just gross--as are the floors, so don't drop any clothes by accident. In the fitness room, one of the treadmills was broken for ten months before they finally got a replacement. Most of the other workout equipment is bent, broken and grimy. The lights in there flicker constantly and the door into the room is damaged to the point where it almost won't close. The entire rec area under the office is shut up now because of the pandemic, so maybe they'll make improvements in the meantime, but I'm not counting on it. The current management also put new doors on the common areas, and they don't have locks, so nothing is secure like it used to be with Greystar. And soon after the doors were put in, of course, this specific apartment complex was covered on KIRO-7 News. It was story about a guy breaking into apartment laundries and stealing money from machines. Management did not let the residents know about that situation, so I only found out about it from reading the news online. Also, back when the pandemic started, the managers sent out a notice requesting that everyone wear masks while out in the parking lot until further notice. But today I was out walking (with my mask on) and there were some maintenance guys walking around and driving golf carts NOT WEARING MASKS. Talk about hypocritical.... One last thing--the industrial light bulb outside my front door burned out a while back, and I asked the managers several times to have it replaced. It's in a shared area so it's their responsibility to maintain. But they never replaced it, and the stairway leading up to my unit would be pitch-black at nighttime. That's technically a safety hazard that the management is ON THE HOOK FOR. I finally went to the hardware store myself and screwed a new bulb in because I was so frustrated. I do not recommend renting here.

Dear resident, we're disappointed by your experience and assure you that is not reflective of the excellent service we want to provide our community. Resident comfort and satisfaction is something we take very seriously and work diligently towards at Copper Ridge Apartments. We'll be sure to connect with our team to make sure we're following the rules surrounding the new normal. Please reach out to our office to further discuss your feedback and we'd be happy to start working towards making things right.
We've lived here for 4 years and 3 different companies have owned the property. Newest office staff is by far the worst so far. The water heater broke and we had to wait 3 weeks to have it replaced. If you move here don't bothet calling the office, just show up. It'll still take at least 3 visits to have anything done though. Overall, comfortable apartment but staff sucks! Time for us to consider moving.
I wouldn't move to Copper Ridge because it filled with bed bug.

Please give us a call to discuss your review. We haven’t had issues of bed bugs at the community and want to understand how we can help you. Please call our office at 425.228.0842. Sincerely, The Copper Ridge Management Team
We lived here for 2 years before moving out this month to buy a place. Strengths of Copper Ridge are a very responsive staff, great pet policy, quiet location within walking distance of a few stores and bus stops, great pool, recently updated gym. Apartments are not luxurious, but the rent is good value for the area. Seems to be a high turnover in staff, so keep track of all your paperwork, especially if you ask for a special accommodation. We took that a bit for granted and had to scrabble a bit on checkout.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write an honest, and positive review for us. We work hard to make sure that we are maintaining satisfaction with our residents and remaining competitively priced for the rental market in Renton. We also agree with always keeping documentation in the case of staff turnover at any apartment community that you live at. Again, thanks for the positive words :) Kaeli Pugsley Community Manager
These apartments are infested with bed bugs! DO NOT MOVE HERE! They will NOT inform you if the neighbors have bed bugs - even if you ask. And they will try to convince you that bed bugs can't come thru the wall - which they did in my apartment. The neighbors next door to me and beneath me both had bed bugs and they came into my apartment. I had to throw away my couch and beds. I lived here one year and the place is bootleg! The paint is cheap and the apartments are literally falling apart. There are holes from nails sticking out of the cabinets, and doors literally coming off the hinges. Also, before I left, there were rats roaming the roofs, and constant car break-ins and vandalism to vehicles. DO NOT RENT FROM COPPER RIDGE APARTMENTS- pay a little more and get decent living quarters.

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to address the concerns that you had within your apartment. I am the new manager here and I know that we here at Copper Ridge take pest control issues very seriously and am sorry to hear that you had that experience. There is a new pest control company that has been servicing the community for about 8 months now, as well as a new security patrol, which has eliminated many of the concerns about petty vandalism and break in's . If you have any thing else that you need please don't hesitate to reach out to be directly at copperridgemgr@greystar.com or at 425.228.0842. Thanks! Kaeli Pugsley Community Manager
Great place, its a quiet neighborhood. If your like me you actually cherish that. Mail boxes and laundry rooms are just right around the corner. The grounds are kept clean and lush. They even have a trash service. I have never been at such a well kept apartment. We love it!
It is nice apartment, the rent is reasonable for Renton or may be one of the best rent. Leasing staff are nice. It is quit and safe, has nice plat ground for kids, swimming pool, spa and small gym. Lets talk about parking, you have two free parking lots, if you have more cars you have to pay for it. The place of the apartment is just great, like 10 minutes walking from valley medical hospital, 10 minutes walking to the bus stops, 169 and 906. one bus to Fred Mayer and site aid or down the hill to IKEA or even to the south center mall.
The complex is very slow in fixing problems. It took two years for them to get parking passes, so actual residents or residents without 3 cars can actually park in the complex. I've had to walk a mile from where I parked for two years. My lease is about up and my roommate decided to move further away from where I work, so I asked the complex how much for a one bedroom and their reply was it is the same you are paying now for a 2 bedroom. My discount for being there for 2 years, apparently starts over in a new apartment. actual apartments are not bad, although laundry facilities have 5 bad machines out of 6, has not changed since I have lived there. Their response is always it will be fixed soon, I guess over 2 years is soon.
These apartments are in a good location in a secluded area with a hospital in close proximity along with a shopping center down the street. They recently resurfaced the parking lot and they ensure that each resident has a parking spot. These apartment homes also have washers and dryers on site and some apartments have them located in the apartment. When I moved in they had installed new appliances including a dishwasher. There is a great landscape with lots of trees and a pool and a small gym and raquetball court. It is a pretty quiet neighborhoood as well.
