Property Ratings at Copper Ridge
For starters, management is horrible. There is hardly ever anyone in the office, or anyone to answer the phone, and the office doors are always locked. Parking is hell because there are not enough spots for all the residents, nor is there guest parking, and because the concrete is horribly uneven, the slightest bit of rainfall floods certain areas. You’ll get towed even with a parking permit and have to fight on end to get your car back. The second I moved in, I found insect eggs, which I later found out to be roaches, and there are always dozens of them. Their idea of pest control is a couple glue traps. Half of my maintenance requests were never answered and I have to fix them myself. Walls are extremely thin, so you can hear everyone’s conversations around your apartment. And there are always (mostly grown adults) yelling outside well into the night. Laundry room has one good washing machine and zero good dryers. A/C is always going out. There’s hardly any cabinet space in the kitchen, and the pipes are always leaking. I can’t believe it’s more than $200 to live in this dump.

We are sorry you did not have the kind of five-star living experience we strive to provide our residents. We are happy to speak with you to address any of your concerns if you would reach out to our community manager via email or phone and she will be happy to assist you.
A bad administration was left to give me my apartment and on the last day they said that I always do not and I got no apartment and with my things and children on the street
Excellent staff! I been living here for 4 year and I have had no issues with the environment nor the staff here. Always on top of their work. I've lived in other apartments before but here in copper ridge they do a great and outstanding job for the residents such as myself. Thank you for all that you guys do!
They look good very nice inside & out but they have a really bad rat problem. We told management about our rat problem and all they did was give us glue traps. They don't care about anything but get their rent money. The office staff is rude. Im glad to be out of this trashy place.
the price is right on these apartments! For being income based apartments they are by far the nicest I've ever seen. Plus the floor plan is a plus for me! You get the feel of a townhouse with the upstairs/ downstairs feel. Very quiet apartments for the most part. Lots of kids and families.
There are many Pro's about Copper Ridge apartments that I will like to share to future or potential residents. First, let me tell you about the staff. The staff here is AWESOME! They are very involved with the residents and are always there to answer any questions or concerns. Second, the apartments themselves. For the price one pays, the appearance and value of the complex does not compare, these apartments should go for more than they ask for. The location of the apartments are very close to any store one desires and minutes away from Hwy 225, Bltwy 8 & Hwy 45. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone who is tired of living in messy, rundown, apartments.
I was desperate to find a low budget apartment. With that being said, i read the reviews and thought, "well for the price, I'm sure we can deal with slow maintaince and staff. And we can just buy bug spray for the roaches." I tried to see the brighter side. And looked at it as, you get what you pay for. Don't make that same mistake. Yes, the rent here is really cheap, but is it worth feeling helpless? Once you move in, you're on their time. Whenever they feel like getting something done then they'll do it. They'll give you a date. That date comes, they'll give you another, and another. And don't bother with corporate office, they won't do anything about it so there's nothing you can do about it but take it. I want to give specific examples but I want to stay anonymous so I'll just give a general one. The rent was due on the 3rd. We went to the office to turn in the money order and no one was there, they didn't leave a sign as to when they would come back or anything. We had to wait in our car for 30 minutes and ended up leaving, hoping that the date on the money order would save us from late fees. You have to either wait around or hassle these people to do their job. And that's how they do business around here. The mice. We can hear them at night. It's really annoying. They bit through all our food. Cerel, bread, everything in a plastic bag or cardboard box. There isn't a spray for mice. So you'll sign a 1 year lease and after one month, you'll count down the months left.
Pro:The location is great, easy jump to the expressway. Rent is affordable, gated community, and has a pool. Cons: HORRIBLE management! Apartment had bed bugs, rats, and roaches. You must provide a live or dead bed bug as proof in order to have an exterminator come to your apartment! I informed office of rats & all they did was provide me with glue traps...exterminator showed up days later...with more glue traps. Kindly expressed my concern about our very noisy neighbors, management's justification was that the walls are paper thin and that maybe our upstairs neighbor was heavy set...and that we should of thought about an upstairs apartment before moving in. Photos on their website are deceitful!! Bags of trash litter the entire complex since the garbage bin is always locked. My roommates and I never seem to get anywhere with management. Despite the location and great price, we can't wait til our lease is over so we can move out of here!!!
