Moving to Marietta? Don’t let your feathers get ruffled the first time you’re told to turn at the big chicken. It’s not a joke. The 56-foot-tall landmark is a staple of most directions. A Georgia Tech student who obviously had a sense of humor designed the giant, steel bird in 1963. The beak opens and closes as the eyes spin around. Stop in for lunch! The chicken is perched atop a KFC. You can also grab (pluck?) a “Big Chicken” mug or T-shirt from the gift shop.
Marietta Square is the central hub for a city that dates back to 1834. The historic square contains antique stores, boutiques, gift shops, and restaurants. It’s also the location of the Marietta Farmer’s Market, a year-round market with more than 65 vendors.
Marietta contains a variety of important places, including Dobbins Air Force Base, Kennesaw State University-Marietta Campus, the Marietta Museum of History, and Six Flags White Water.

Property Ratings at Copper Social
Living at Copper Social Apartments has been an absolute pleasure. The new management has truly made a difference, working to improve resident experiences. From upgraded amenities to prompt maintenance service, every aspect reflects their commitment to making it better. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a living environment with attentive management and super helpful team. Its also pretty close to campus which is a great benefit. New leasing manager Isa was very helpful, would recommend asking for her if need help.

Friend, Thanks for the 5 stars! We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Please let us know if we can do something to make your experience even better!
I've lived here for a little over a year now and things were pretty shaky for a minute. It would be dirty across the property, dog poop everywhere, & management was really bad at getting back about issues. This year has been a complete turn around. The new management team actually responds to emails, maintenance keeps the property relatively tidy, and its pretty peaceful. Destini in the office is also a delight every time I visit to grab a package.
I lived here for a year and this complex was always filthy. Residents would leave their trash bags outside of their doors, on the sidewalks, and in the roads. More times than not there was broken glass, old food, and whatever else had fallen out of trash bags onto the sidewalks and in the road. It would also stay where it was for days at a time before it was picked up. Trash cans in the parking deck and at dog walk stations were always full and smelled awful. People often smoked weed in their rooms and in their units so it always smelled of weed. Many residents with dogs would not pick up after them, so there was always dog poop covering the little grassy areas around the complex. My dog got parasitic intestinal worms twice during my time living here and I strongly believe that it was because of this. Between the trash and the dog poop the complex smelled horrible constantly. I also had issues with noisy neighbors and send in formal complaints many many many times. It took management three months to take action. Lastly, the complex said that they had professional cleaners clean the units before move in, but when I got there the carpet on the stairs and on the landings were incredibly stained and dirty. The only reason why I gave this place 2 stars instead of one is because the maintenance people were always quick to fix issues within the units and they were very nice. They definitely do not get paid enough for what they have to do around the complex. Yes, it’s cheaper to live here than other places in the area but keep in mind that you sacrifice a clean environment for cheap living.
This apartment complex is such a great place and peaceful as well! I love how the front office takes care of everyone and welcome everyone with a smile! If there’s a problem it’s taken care of in a heartbeat! THEY WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!!! They are always doing something for the students to stay entertained while staying here and everything they do is top notched!! Amazing place to stay and very very clean as well. I love this place and I wish I knew about this place sooner.

We are so appreciative of your 5 star review and for taking the time to share it with us. At Copper Social, our goal is to provide residents with the highest quality experiences. We hope you have a great day!
If you’re attending ksu and need a place to stay that is affordable and close to campus then you should choose here. The best part about staying here is the maintenance team, they always respond promptly to work orders and are pretty friendly upon entry. It is also about 5 minutes away from a lot of places to eat and the walmart as well.
I have had so many issues with this complex, their bill system is terrible. The maintenance is not very helpful and will have to fix whatever your problem is multiple times. It's unsafe, would not recommend for any woman to live here.
I’ve lived at Copper Social since my Sophomore year in 2021. I renewed my lease because of the cleanliness of the apartment complex and how nice the front office is. The maintenance team is very dependable and responsive to issues at the units. On top of this, the security that patrols at night makes me feel safe and comfortable. I would recommend Copper Social for any KSU student on a tight budget.
My boyfriend lives here and I come over all the time. I’m very impressed with the amenities and the cleanliness of the apartment complex. He’s never had any complaints and based on what I’ve seen, everyone here is very nice and easy to work with. In addition, the maintenance team is dependable and gets things right the first time. If I went to school here I would definitely live here and I recommend it to any current and future KSU students.
Cooper social is a good place to live. It’s affordable and pet friendly. There is plenty of security in case of an emergency. You will not be disappointed. If you are a student looking for a place to live off campus this is the place!
Office area is always available to residents , which is very convenient for students ! , pool , gym area is always very clean and is a great area to spend time in
Copper Social is a cheap place to live, but with that you get cheap service. They take weeks to resolve issues that need to be handled quickly. Everything is always broken and they gave tried to overcharge for water bills because of a toilet leak multiple times. Great place to live if you want cheap, but not if you want quality.
No only do you have to clean your own apartment when you move in but the furniture is super OLD. The worse thing was the bed given to my daughter the leg was broken, a liability and they never fix, they kept saying new furniture is coming soon. I had my husband straighten it and add 2x4 to support it so she should get hurt. They keep add additional charges to you account with zero warning and explanation. Honestly have enough pictures and details to win a law suit.

Hello Denise/robert F. , Your review is very concerning to us. We would appreciate it if you would contact your property management team by emailing leasing@livecoppersocial.com to further discuss your recent experience. Copper Social
There’s a reason this is the cheapest student housing in kennesaw. There’s no parking ever (I have to walk HALF A MILE to the parking deck, trashcans, and mailbox from my apartment), there’s no cell service, the police are being called out here every week, the front office staff are the least helpful people, and the trash build up is disgusting. Im embarrassed to live here.

Hello Abi, We apologize for the inconvenience you may have experienced at our community. Your feedback has been shared with our team and we will address your issues as soon as possible. Thank you for sharing this with our team. Copper Social
I have hated every interaction I have had here. My ceiling leaked for two months before anyone bothered to actually repair the issue, my bed frame fell apart and needed to be repaired, my door fell off of the hinges, the office is barely responsive and seems not to care in the slightest about any residents whatsoever. Save yourself, this place isn't worth anyones time or effort. just the worst living experience. I hate it here.

I love coming home everyday! The community is so nice, and the landscaping is extremely beautiful during the spring. The staff does their best at making sure the community is clean at all times.

Hello, Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. Our team values all our residents and are happy that you chose Copper Social as the place to be! Copper Social
The staff is great and Darion is always respectful and cares about the needs of the residents. The property always looks great and well maintained. And the staff makes sure that any maintenance issue is fix quickly. All gets 5 star.
Absolutely no parking spots, incredibly loud, horrible drivers & very disrespectful people living here. Management is AWFUL at dealing with issues. Will ignore your emails, complaints and attempts to communicate with them. Ignored all of my emails and send very vague emails in response (when you get one). Vague and full of false promises. Overall HORRIBLE service to the people living here and paying them.
I love the townhomes! 4.5 bathrooms is hard to beat. The staff is great and attentive + I heard the amenities will be open 24/7 in August!

Thank you for leaving this detailed feedback about your experience with Stadium Village. Thank you very much for sharing these very positive comments.
Looks like a cheap place to stay until hit with non expected overage charges with no escape. Safety is big concern. Rude staff who really make sure you get no help if you complain. Watch out for fake posts to boost ratings. No eat real. Walk around and actually speak to people without the “tour guide” . Easy to get in and chat with actual people . Always people out and about 24/7. Do yourself a favor and Check it out for yourself
The WIFI, heat, AC, hot water, etc. rarely works, but they’ll charge you anywhere from $20-$100 A PERSON in overages for a month. I’ve been trying to get in contact with management for a month to get my water usage records and they won’t even respond to me. Also, bugs are a big issue. On top of the poor quality and staff, there are multiple shootings, stabbings, and robberies and they will not inform the residents. My neighbor stabbed someone and they left the blood outside/inside the apartment for a week or so. Parking SUCKS unless you pay an extra $50 a month (I believe so) or request to live by the parking deck. Save yourself the time, energy, money, and frustration and find another apartment complex.
This place is more than happy to fine you for even thinking on their property, but despite the $600 I unfortunately pay to live here, they refuse to fix anything. Appliances constantly break. The main door into the apartment was broken for five months before it was fixed two weeks ago. They say someone sprays every month, and that they have someone do spot jobs every Thursday, but I haven't seen anyone with as much as a cab of raid on the property. Right now I'm begging them to spray the cockroaches, earwigs, and grasshoppers that might as well pay rent considering they never leave. One star is three stars too many, but I'll have to settle, just like living here
"Terrible...2 shootings in a month, cheap furniture, awful management" This is unfortunately very accurate not to mention the parking was designed only to make more money... and at least 3 of the " 5 star reviews" are from people that work here.
This place is AWFUL! 2 shootings within the first 2 months of school (one of which the management tried to cover up). Not nearly enough parking which they are now making money off of by having "Reserved" spots that cost $35/month on top of the already expensive rent. Honestly seems like they are just trying to set everyone up to have to pay more to get what they already should have a right to in the first place for being a paying resident. Amenities are not that great: small gym, appliances/furniture break frequently. NO customer service whatsoever, they tow residents (who pay) but will give visitors "warnings" before towing. DO NOT LIVE HERE! You are better off at other student housings such as UClub or UPointe.
Horrible. Managed by a bunch of 18 who will give you inconsistent answers and never know what the actual rules and protocols are. We've been here almost a month without mail boxes. Ive had a issue every single week ive been here. Between unnecessary charges, to changing my room without telling me... Just a mess.
