From white-water rafting on the Cheat River to rock climbing at Coopers Rock to shopping for antiques, there's good reason Morgantown is the most popular destination in West Virginia -- add in West Virginia University and the reasons just become more impressive. Morgantown, situated along the Monongahela River, provides stunning views of the Appalachian Mountains -- especially from vantage points like Dorsey Knob. This park covers 71 acres, and the mountain is 1,398 feet high.
Considered a top-ranking research university, WVU was established in 1867 and features several buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Residents of Morgantown can visit the university's Core Arboretum, which is free and open to the public. Residents can also cheer on the West Virginia Mountaineers at various sports events. The Mountaineers compete in NCAA Division I as part of the Big 12 Conference.

Property Ratings at Copperfield Court
I was out of town, my girlfriend was there by herself. They came knocking, yelling, and threatening police force saying I hadn’t resigned my lease and that they would throw away my things if they weren’t moved. I called and they confirmed I had signed my lease. She had to call off work to move things. This is after they had inspected the day before and said everything was fine. Cannot recommend with the current staffing.
What to say about Copperfield Court? The complex itself is (mostly) nice, and the location is (mostly) good. Let's start with the good, shall we? Location: If you're a medical student or hospital employee, there's hardly any place closer unless you set up a tent in the hospital parking lot. Neighbors: In three years, I've never had issues with my neighbors. They're all quite friendly and never too loud. This will vary by unit, I'm sure. Apartment itself: Good amount of space for the price, especially considering the insane rent levels in this area. Now for the not-so-good. Location: The entrance is located in a significant dip in the road, which is a pain during the winter. It can be dangerous. And there's not many places to pull off of the narrow road if you meet someone heading the other direction. Quality: These are not particularly new apartments, and the appliances show it. I've had the AC motor replaced each year, because they refuse to just renew the unit. Management: While the office workers are always friendly, the overall policies are terrible. So many fees. And I'm fairly sure the card-processing fees they charge are against regulation. Utilities: Garbage is the only "utility" included. So, TL;DR: Decent place, decent price, mediocre management.
