Property Ratings at Coral Gardens Apartments
I’m not one to leave reviews but after looking up the rating of my current apartment and viewing a 3.4 I was curious what the reviews were since I am already stuck in a year lease. To my surprise I came across multiple “positive” reviews. Claiming to take a tour and leaving a review about it, how orchestrated and fake can you be? No one who actually lives here thinks this place is as good as the fake reviews I stumbled across. Property management here is a joke. We have trash problems, sanitation issues in the laundry and pool area. The common spaces I have never seen cleaned once, and although they can leave notices threatening neighbors of uncharges there is never a notice when construction is being done at 7am on the top of your unit!! Loud sounds of trains, homeless, and physical altercations with neighbors keep me up at night. If you like the soothing hues of police lights blinking in your window every other week you willl love it here.
the property has just switched management. the brick pathways inside the courtyards look nice and the pool is getting a make over as well. inside however, the units remain outdated. there is no vent in the bathrooms leading to reoccurring mold. the appliances in the kitchen are atleast 20 years old and are constantly breaking. maintenance knows and they are running out of parts to fix them. but they refuse to replace these antiquated household necessities.
I wouldn't live anywhere else and that's a fact. I love this place so much! It's a quiet and safe community with beautiful pool and garden court. We also have lime trees that I sometimes pick, sorry Jenny :-)! Jenny, Armando and Rosa are very professional and easy to talk to. Jenny made the process easy and happy and Rosa moved me in on a Saturday and provided me with a little move in gift! Too cute!!! Armando is always on site, when I put in a work order IT GETS ANSWERED THE SAME DAY. Thank you Coral Garden Familia!
The property has homeless people living directly outside of the complex. And there is no official after-hour security on the premises monitor the safely of the tenants or the property.There's drug trafficking and a lot of marijuana smoke within the property throughout the day.And management is fully aware and does not mind it taking place on the property or inside the rental units for that matter. I would also love to see the corporation that owns the property take better care of the property cleanliness,repairs extra, and stop taking advantage of the people that are suffering from the rental market inflation at this time. Parking is non- existent you have one part per unit which people consistently park on your personal parking space. And leasing office informs you that you have to contact the security company that they us to come on site to lock and unlock the laundry room "only" to have the car that parks in your spot towed yourself so therefore it put you directly in harms-way at any given time. Please if you have a second option to rent from use it don't move here.
The staffing and personal was very professional and helpful!! they make me feel very comfortable with all my questions and concerns, the application and process was very quick, when I was notified that I was approved they took me to overlook the unit and I love it very big and clean !!! I can't wait to move in!!!
I rarely write reviews, but I feel like this deserved it!! I felt right at home when I came into the office, especially because the staff and manager were so welcoming. The manager provided a lot of information and I am pleased with everything! I even received a little gift bag full of cleaning supplies after I moved in!! :) If I need any maintenance help, the maintenance man is willing to help as soon as he could! Clean and quiet environment, which is what i love!!!!!
Bart is right behind the apartment and runs all night long. When we saw that everything was included in utilities though NWP @ the rate of 150.00 monthly after signing the lease,we were not happy at all. Prior to moving in we paid NWP for water and waste for 65.00 monthly and PG&E 40.00 monthly so this financial increase was not helpful to are household. And theirs only one maintenance who is very sociable with the tenants but he work is poor to none. And the laundry rooms are uncap nasty. And yes the leasing office staff are nice but that has nothing to do with business. And the business part of taking care of the property just is not being taking care at all.
The grounds are poorly maintenance in and outdoors. The manager and leasing office staff are very unprofessional and lack the education needed to manage a property.

this apartment Staff has great customer service and the maintenance guy has very good attitude, quite neighborhood and has value to live here.

My husband and I have been looking for apartments for months now, and we came across this apartments. We were happy when we saw that everything was included in utilities, and that there was only a $500 deposit. We decided to call and make a appointment to come in and view the apartment. When we got there we were informed one of the staff members that the deposit was $650 with good credit and that they go basted on the worse of the two credit scores. Also she mentioned that only garbage and water were included in utilities, when on this website it clearly states all are included and the deposit is $500. My husband and I were very disappointed, and upset that we were miss informed of the deposit and utilities. We can understand that things happen and people make mistakes but from $500 to $650 deposit is a big deal. I guess it was to good to be true. Other then that the location was nice and the staff member was very friendly. We also were notified that if we wanted to get Direct Tv we would have to install the satellite in the apartment itself and have it remain in the living room, which was odd to me and my husband.
I am living on own for the time, finally moved out of my parents... I've heard first few apartment experience is like a learning experience, (which means there will be some tough life lessons to be learned) but I find that living here in Coral Garden, it is not so bad for first time mover. It feels like a little resort. The office staff is very helpful and friendly, I get breeze when I open my windows, quiet overall. Love it here. Definitely recommend!
I have lived at Coral Garden Apartments for several years now and must say after starting off with a 6 month lease, that I am still here. This is a gated community (recently added). Shopping, Gym, Walgreen's, and Groceries are literally right next door. The management team is always available when you need them for maintenance and anything you might be needing attention to, which make them fabulous in my book. So whether your a Single, College Student or a Small family I highly recommend this place.
