Less than 20 miles east of Phoenix, the city of Mesa is Arizona’s third-largest city and is home to nearly half a million residents. The low cost of living, affordable apartments, and family-friendly environment make Mesa a highly sought-after suburb in Arizona’s suburban desert. Although Mesa sits within a short distance of Phoenix – making it the ideal location for commuters – many residents work inside the city of Mesa itself for local employers in the medical, aerospace, and retail industries.
Mesa locals take advantage of the city’s constant sunshine, whether they’re catching a Cactus League ball game at Hohokam Stadium or tubing down the Salt River. The surrounding desert landscape is extremely popular with mountain bikers, hikers, and campers. The scenery is truly unbeatable, especially in the sprawling Tonto National Forest to the northeast.
This town is rather quiet, with a focus on community and local history, rather than a bustling nightlife scene.

Property Ratings at Coral Point Apartments
A one-star review is being generous; this complex is such a joke ya’ll, don’t waste your time. The virtual tour and images offered on the website are NOT an accurate representation of the apartment complex. The buildings and units are in TERRIBLE condition. Some of the obvious issues include extensive structural damage and shoddy repairs. However, the most important note here is that the complex is TEEMING with cockroaches. Burns Pest Elimination is here every Wednesday, like clockwork, to address infestations across the complex.
went to go tour apartment looked decent at first upon move in there were roaches crawling out of every where couldn't even put down any food on the counter never unpacked anything do not waste your time here!! had to have them break my lease stay away not worth it!!!
Under new management and it has definitely changed for the better. The new management and their team are helpful, proactive, and diligent in response. I just signed my lease for another year.
I have lived here for 3 years, and at some points I was roommates with an employee of this establishment, however always in the same unit. From the day I moved in, there has ALWAYS been a cockroach problem, and they have sent pest control in multiple times to spray some corners. Obviously has not been working for anyone, as there are still roaches to this day, other reviews state the same. The laundry rooms are disgusting, dysfunctional, unprotected, outdated, and overpriced. The appliances in my unit are old, if they function at all they function poorly. I have been given poorly or totally unrepresented bills that I was forced to pay, saying if I refused to pay I will have an 'outstanding balance'. The walls are paper thin, considering the type of renter this place attracts, you will hear loud music at any given time of the day or night. My car has been broken into more than once, as have many of my neighbors, or previous neighbors. Cops are always rolling up for one reason or another. All this would not be worth complaining about if they didn't charge the same amount for rent as an apartment that actually tries.
The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m going on my third year at the complex and the past year has been a huge regret. It’s a new staff in the office every 4-5 months (including managers). Homicide has been to the complex twice since I lived there. It’s beyond disturbing knowing people have been murdered at my complex and I love with my two year old son. The out dated gutters caused my apartment to be flooded from the roof. Management could careless that my renters insurance didn’t cover none of my property because it was from a faulty building. I lost my couch a very expensive tv and gaming system. I was lucky to not be electrocuted. When I walked into my complex from work my ceiling fan was spinning water all over the apartment with all my electronics covered in water and my floor submerged. The complex doesn’t honor any thing they say. I’m on a month to month lease where I pay an extra $300. Each month a receive a new false offer every month to renew. I’ve called twice to accept the offer and was turned down. The first time I spoke with the office about coming in to renew and was told everything was set to go. I put a check in the drop box for the first month incentive. Everything appeared to be fine until I went into the office to sign. Upon arriving I was told not only did I need to pay the month to month price but I also needed to spend an extra $80 in late fees. I asked how was my rent late when the check was in the drop box before the late date and I was ok’d by the office before coming in. They told me they’d call corporate and work it out and not to worry about it. Hours later I’m called back to the office to pay the full amount including late fee because corporate never responded to them. I called corporate myself and they seemed to have no clue about the situation.
Renovations are nice, and maintenance are on top of things! Nancy is amazing, and has a great team behind her. They work with credit and the area is convenient. This is my second year!
Day i moves in, floors we’re filthy, someone’s belongings left in cabinets. Roaches and major ant problem. On top of that management team was horrible and extremely rude. Rent anywhere else but here. HORRIBLE
Not only have we had issues since we moved in, staff is rude and do not know what they are doing.
Property Manager at Coral Point Apartments, Responded To This Review
Dear Resident, The Coral Point team has been trained to provide excellent customer service to all our residents. As a rule, Living Well Homes does not tolerate rudeness and as such, your complaint will be brought to the attention of our Training Specialist. I'm not sure what kind of issues you've been experiencing, but I encourage you to speak directly with your Community Manager (manager-coralpoint@livingwellhomes.com or 480.844.4000. Thanks for writing, Stephanie Q. Reputation Team, Living Well Homes
This is a pretty average apartment over all. While I like the look of the apartment, layout, and custom accent walls, the decrepit nature of the buildings themselves is a nightmare when it comes to pest control. Door and window seals as well as seals around plumbing fixtures allow roaches and worse yet bed bugs into the apartments. I felt like I must have been unfortunate enough to drag bedbugs into my unit, but having my unit treated for bed bugs at my own expense, I now know why there is always decent looking sofas and box springs abandoned near the dumpsters with liners cut out of the bottom. At the end of the day, the only reason you likely live here is because the are flexible with bad credit and owing money to prior landlords and the platinum level apartments are surprisingly nice for an complex that accepts questionable rental history, but you do have to budget for pest control if you're planning on making this your home.
Avoid at all costs...unless you have no other options. Maintenance is very unresponsive: I have had to make over 5 phone calls to remedy one issue, and one issue was never addressed, even after 6 phone calls and several promises to fix things. At move-out, you will be charged for things that were present upon move-in. I scheduled a move-out inspection with the office for a Friday afternoon, and of course, no one came to do that inspection. I tried calling before 5pm that day, and of course, no answer. I tried for days to schedule this move-out inspection, as I suspected they would try to charge me for things that were just as I received them. Upon moving in, the flooring in the living room, dining room and kitchen was supposed to be fixed, and that took 4 phone calls to get done. Now on my move-out summary, I see that I was charged from 2 vinyl repairs ($67.50)...the floor was in much better shape than when I moved in. I was also charged for Cabinet Touchups...that's pretty ridiculous, as the cabinets are cheaply made particle board, and they were disgusting and dirty upon move-in. They were all cleaned prior to move-out, with no damage. $33.75 for that. To top all of that off, I was also charged to resurface a tub that was exactly in the same condition up move-in and move-out...$247.50. I can understand charges for Housekeeping ($56.25), Carpet Cleaning ($33.75), paint for touching up walls ($41.25), and fixing broken vertical blinds ($10.08), but the additional charges are ridiculous. The total was $555.89. Like I said, avoid at all costs. And don't expect any contact from Coral Point after you sign the lease.
I have lived here before Living Well Homes took over as management and the previous company was great. Living Well Homes, however, is absolutely terrible. Their accounting practices is that of a 3rd grade level. I have received eviction notices for missing payments. When I call, they tell me I need to go into the office and speak to the manager. When I do, they tell me it was an error on their side and to disregard the notice. What a complete waste of my time. Not to mention, a friend moved into the complex as well and he'd receive these very same notices every month also and he'd have to go in every single month to clear it up. In addition, they have poor data management skills. I have received eviction notices for having an unauthorized pet, which is incorrect as I have had my dog listed on my lease all along in my 4 years of living here. I had to actually bring in my original lease from Year 1 to the office and prove that my dog is and has been listed on my lease. If something is broken, expect management and/or maintenance to take up to a week to fix it. My AC broke in the middle of the summer and it took them 1.5 weeks to fix it. I had to stay with my said friend until they fixed it. It broke again 2 weeks later and it took them 4-5 days to fix it. I'd call every single day and no one would give me an answer and no one would call me back after leaving messages. Talk about poor management practices! If I can rate the management with a 0 star or even a negative star, I would. Lastly, if you're a current resident and you want to upgrade, do expect a lengthy 1.5 months of stress. I made the mistake of doing so and during the 1.5 months, I had to call and speak with someone 3x's, only to have them tell me I needed to call back when the manager was in the office. When I did, again, they told me I needed go into the office and talk to her. When I did that, they'd tell me she wasn't available and to come back another day. When I did again and she was available, they told me I needed to come back yet again because they've not prepared my lease renewal paper. Really?? Do NOT move in here. You have been warned.
The management company is very unresponsive and is not very concerned with the well being of their tenants. It has just been a bad experience from the start. Would not renew my lease there or let anyone I know move there either.
Its ok for the area. management sucked for a while. went through some changes and they seem better.
I have been living at Coral Point Apartments since October of 2014. So far, mostly everything has been great. Although the appliances could definitely be updated. The stove, dishwasher, and a/c controller look like their from the 70's. Everything works well and I love the wood floors and the high ceilings. It gives it a semi-modern feel, forgetting about the old appliances. Very spacious living, would definitely recommend even though I am planning on searching for something new!
The apartment is a good size and the amenities are nice. You can't beat the location right on the light rail line and only minutes from campus. The train is a bit loud and management has been a bit slow in responding to requests, but there's nothing wrong here at all. A solid average apartment.
