Although surrounded by inhospitable desert, Phoenix is one of the largest cities in the United States, and the nation’s single largest state capital city. The area contains numerous galleries and museums, putting the people in contact with everything from the European masters to Native American craftsmanship to modern originals from Phoenix’s diverse artistic community. The Downtown cultural scene has developed into a top-notch feast of visual and performing arts, with symphony performances, live theater, and the popular First Friday exhibitions. Phoenix is also an excellent city for sports fans, being one of the few cities in America with local franchises in the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL. Several thousand students attend the two Arizona State University campuses in the city, as well as the over-50,000 who attend the main campus in neighboring Tempe.

Property Ratings at Cordillera
The area is filled with people stealing. You have a trailer court right next to you. You have a busy bell road hear traffic all the time. Office people lie.

I’ve been at Cordillera for a couple of months now. The place is good for the most part but there are a few things I would like to note. Pros - Management and maintenance are easy to get a hold of when issues arise. - Use an app to pay for rent, request maintenance, and contact maintenance which is super convenient. Cons - Within a couple of weeks after moving in, there were cockroaches in my apartment. While they were for the most part taken care of it was still very gross to deal with. - Many of the other tenants have dogs but don’t clean up after themselves so grass areas are covered in poop. - Pool is often closed for maintenance or switching pool care services. I think in a three month span the pool was closed about 4 times for more than a day.

Cordillera was very accommodating to my needs and made sure to provide me with a clean apartment. I love how friendly and helpful the staff is.
I have been here for 7 years. I went almost a month with no lights in my kitchen. Over a year with a broken dishwasher. Plus the water is always being turned off with little to no waring. Pluming issues all the time and if you don't close the drains, sewer ROACHES will come up. Parking is a joke, its hard to find a spot that is anywhere near your unit late a night. The amenities are nothing, there are two pools in the same gated area and one is always green. The gym is very limited. Plus you have neighbors that like to talk behind your back and will stomp up and down the stairs if you park in a non covered spot near their unit. Because they use the spot VS their covered spot 8 feet away.
Cordillera offers a unique green space community that provides a healthy environment to call home. At night, the pathways are lit and everyone's porch light is on making walking safe and enjoyable. Our experience has been a quiet, friendly community.
Was fabulous back in 2001 when I lived here, looks even better now, loved the location across from Turf Paradise now over developed wish I could move back to the neighborhood living Arizona Golf Resort Power Road and Broadway Mesa 1400 couple hundred too much hopefully a deal will open up soon, gr8 management back then imagine now even better.
Apartment is large, new management seems to upkeep grounds much better, and the team in office is more pleasant and organized than the last man.
My experience here is fantastic thus far. My packages are left at my door and no one takes them, the environment around the community is clean and the staff is very friendly and easy to communicate with.
If you want to live in an ash tray then this place is for you. You can't escape the smoke anywhere here (even walking your dog outside), and the office manager, Trish, is absolutely horrible to work with!! They could care less about you. My car also got towed from an unmarked fire lane spot over night in the first week of moving here, and the office did NOTHING to help me out. They are awful.
Even though it is Gated Community and has night time security, cars are not secured even though they are parked in assigned parking lot. There was a theft incident happened in my car. Someone broke the windshield side and unlocked the door and taken some of my personal things and leaving other stuffs scattered in the driver and passenger seat. I had registered incident with the police.but that wouldnt help with what was lost. I m afraid that the same kind of thing can happen by breaking into apartment units if these are not taken care. Also, there are no CCTV's placed in this community even after multiple Incidents occurred. i would really appreciate the Management if the CCTV's are placed in community to bring these kind of crimes down which will be safer for the Families living here. But apart from this, i love this community and its better place to stay
After a lengthly apartment hunt, online and in person, I stubbled upon Cordillera. Initially, I thought the property was out of my price range but after viewing the property it was clear- there was no other space I would feel more at home. Although the staff member who was in charge of the rental was not on site, on of the other staff member gladly took me as an appointment. Her hospitality is one of the reasons why I am here. The environment, the diversity of the residents, the accessibility to shopping, freeways and mountains (for hiking) is extremely convenient. My experience over 6 weeks is swaying me to settle in here in Phoenix for a while.
You wouldn't be mad if you were to move into the Cordillera Condominiums. Honestly, for the awesome floor plans and the most friendliest management team it's all worth the asking price. Fitting your needs of up to 3 bdrms and great location! Don't ever hesitate to live here!
