Drive 21 miles south along US-23 from Columbus and you’ll happen upon Ashville, a charming town of just two and a half square miles that’s a quiet setting just a short drive from the big city. Despite Ashville’s modest size, there’s a lively community here that frequently makes headlines for annual festivals like the Fourth of July celebration and the Viking Festival. Residents enjoy a close-knit community, affordable homes and apartment rentals, and a rural, laidback atmosphere.
Many residents head into Circleville for a greater selection of stores and shops. Drive another 16 miles south and you’ll find yourself in an expansive collection of national parks and state forests. Columbus is just a 30-minute drive away should you want to counter the outdoors with a day in the city.

Property Ratings at CornerStone Apartments
Building is really old, and in "cheap" condition. If you need something fixed, expect it to involve cheap caulk and little more. Landlords also blamed us for damage to the building entrance that was already broken, and used our deposit for it after we moved out. Building was also in bad shape, and the door closer (which was a heavy piece of metal) fell and nearly struck someone in the head. You get what you pay for here. Building also smelled strongly of tobacco.

This review was left by a young couple that recently moved out. The gentleman moved in first and was very polite and conscientious. When his fiance moved in more than a year later, damage started to occur due to a lack of common sense. An outside table was damaged when spray paint was used for a craft project without first putting newspaper or something down to protect the table. The shower overflowed more than once because the drain wasn't kept free from hair and the water level wasn't monitored. The door closing mechanism was broken when large items were forced through the door without taking the time to avoid contact. They were not charged for any damage that they did not cause. Smoking is not permitted in the building or near entrances. The building is old; built in 1902. We can't change that, but we do take care of it and take pride in doing so. Drive or walk by and see for yourself how well the grass and grounds are kept. Give us a call or send us an email and we'll be happy to provide a tour inside as well.
