Property Ratings at Cornerstone Crossing
Terrance helped me move in and it was so easy. The apartment I have is beautiful and spacious. Would recommend!
Great move-in experience so far. Tanéja is a pro. She kept contact all throughout the whole process.

We deeply cherish your positive feedback. Tanéja is indeed a pro at providing a great move-in experience. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!
Julie in the leasing office is always so helpful! When I first moved in, it was hard at times getting direct answers or answers that were the same across the board. Everytime i come across Julie she finds out the answer for me, she is patient, and definitely helps out a lot. The apartment itself I really like the layout, the kitchen is a bit small. The neighborhood I feel like it's gone down a bit since I moved here last year.

We sincerely value your feedback. Thank you for recognizing Julie's helpfulness.
The staff was friendly and the apartment was nice for my first apartment alone but no matter how clean i kept the apartment i always say roaches. when i first moved in we didn’t see any but over time i saw one here and there and i just couldn’t take it any more.

I was helped twice by Rahel with the online portal on two different days and she was very helpful and got me set up and ready to go. The staff here are very helpful!

We are glad that you enjoyed Rahel's service. We will pass along your kind words.
I’ve lived here since September 2021. There are a lot of issues but there are some good things too. The issues being; cockroaches everywhere and our apartment has been treated by a construction company 3 times now and all they do is put out traps and then pick them up and yes it’s a construction company, not an exterminator, a hole was drilled in my gas tank two months after we moved in and cornerstone did nothing because it didn’t happen to anyone else, there’s always broken glass all over the parking lot, the windows and doors are awful so in the summer time our apartment is 90+ degrees and all they did was put some sealant around some cracks, there is paint all over the floors and carpet but we get a carpet concession so that’s okay, I don’t feel the apartment was cleaned well before we moved in because there were dead bugs everywhere, chalk everywhere and it was just dirty, they even painted over people’s hair in the bathroom, the floor is soft in front of the hot water tank from where they replaced it before we moved in, maintenance is hit or miss.. some issues have been fixed while others have been marked fixed and not even touched and I’m sick of calling the office and complaining just for it to not be fixed again.. we wanted out a/c filter changed and the man said he already did it and we knew he didn’t because we were there so we called the office and they sent their hvac guy and the filter was so bad it had holes in it, currently have an outlet that’s waiting for an electrician that I’m not sure we will ever see so I guess I’m living with an extension cord across my bedroom, also waiting for a wooden piece that covers the hole below the sink to be fixed but of course it was marked fixed, there’s always a smoke smell in our closet, bathroom and kitchen from our neighbors and we don’t smoke so it’s disgusting, there’s cigarette butts all over the steps outside and they won’t trim the trees near the parking lot. I’m sure I’m missing some things. The good being it’s a great sized apartment for what we pay, no one really bothers us, the apartment is outdated but when it’s decorated you can’t tell and it’s nice, the resident managers are usually pretty friendly, maintenance is fast and they do a great job IF they do the job, I also feel it’s close to a lot of nice places.

This place is not great to live in. The only thing going for it is the cheap large apartment. Management is lack luster and not helpful. State of apartments are in disrepair with carpet coming up, paint on carpets, dings in walls, nails on the ground during move in, etc. This place is mismanaged and dont expect any help from management. Ground have trash everywhere and weeds everywhere as well as neighbors letting their dogs go to the restroom without picking it up. When i was signing my lease a woman came out of the leasing office crying warning not to stay here and i should have listened. What a waste of a year of my life.

I have been here less than a year and can’t wait to move. Roaches everywhere. They sent a guy with a bucket of dollar store roach traps that did nothing instead of calling a real exterminator. I had to spend my own money on roach killers to get somewhat of a decent roach free apartment. You cut I. A light you see huge roaches running , open a cabinet roaches, Neighbors make all types of noises they tell you to call the police neighbors fighting every night this place is a terrible place to live can’t wait till my lease is up

Roaches and bed bugs everywhere. Constant battle the entire year I lived there. Had to stay until my lease was up. The bugs were more of a constant terror than the constant gunshots and people being murdered in the parking lot.

If there are ANY positive reviews within the last year. It’s a lie that someone in the office made up. People yelling all night. Water leaks in my unit from the person above. They have YET to fix. Going on for 3 months Never look here if you care for your sanity & safety

do NOT move here . There were 3 murders at the C1 cornerstone before it was actually shut down. If you call the office in need to fix something it takes WEEKS , IF they even answer the phone to GET the request which they NEVER do. These people will tell you you need medical reason to fix the air on a 90 degree summer day, then takes MONTHS to fix your air . Your fridge will break ..they say it has to b broke for 3 days to be fixed

With this form of communication it is difficult to respond to specific events. There were delays during the pandemic shutdown. There may also be delays during periods of high demand when we handle requests in the order in which they are received. If a person has a medical form on file, an A/C repair would be treated as an emergency repair. Our residents' enjoyment of their homes is a top priority for us and we strive to answer each and every service needs as quickly as possible. Thank you for your comments.

This is was my first apartment and for my first time, my experience is TERRIBLE! First of all, the apartments does not look anywhere near the model they show you. I was not able to view my apartment until the day of move in when I got my keys. Second, I’m on the bottom floor so when it floods it floods my carpet in my entire apartment. My carpet still has not been clean since the last time it flooded. My ceiling is caving in, in the bathroom. I have been seeing roaches. Just everything is terrible and if I was you, I wouldn’t think twice about even coming to take a look. When I tell you things have been falling apart left and right, they really have and it’s not even my fault. They haven’t been coming out to fix anything and not to mention the walls are super thin. Just do not move here!!!!!

Did you read that headline? I told them my air conditioning was out and had to harass them for over 3 weeks until they finally told me we had to have a medical reason for them to do it. In less than a year since I've been here, I've had literally dozens of issues. If i started listing them out, it would be longer than the Lord Of The Rings. Broken glass all over the parking lot, animals burrowing into the ceilings, and, oh yeah, NEEDING A MEDICAL REASON TO FIX AIR CONDITIONING. Do not live here. A zero is too good because that means they deserve to even a have a rating and they don't. Move on. Live out of your car. A homeless shelter. With a cult. Literally anywhere but here.

My fiance and I lived here for maybe a year or two, it was OK. until our neighbor moved in. it was only supposed to be him and his son but he had his whole family living there which resulted in roaches coming from their apartment to ours, the issue was never correctly handled after contacting the leasing office multiple times, also to mention our neighbors toilet and bathtub was backing up into our sink and toilet. It was disgusting. we didn't get that resolved until we took water from her bathroom to the leasing office. THEN they finally sent someone out (and after we mention filing escrow. Long story short DO NOT waste time, money or energy on this craphole. They don't care they just want rent paid on time!!!

Ever since I moved into cornerstone Renan has been there to help always responds to emails or will get the right area manager to help right away, never has an attitude makes you feel comfortable asking anything without feeling like you’re annoying her. Abby manages my area I believe and she has been on point with her job very welcoming. They have made my stay at cornerstone very good. It would be nice to have a updated layout. Besides that nice place to live for a while.

If I could do zero stars I would. It's been 5 months and 4 attempts to get things fixed. My dishwasher is broken. There is a hole in my ceiling that leaks water in my livingroom. My sink doesn't drain. They never fixed it but wrote in file that they did multiple times. And now my Ac is broken. I called maintenance for emergency because my child can have seizures from overheating due to epilepsy and the maintenance person refused to come fix it. I need to get out of this hell hole asap!

Horrible living! Neighbor has loud parties & slamming in middle of night keeping people awake all night. Manager won't do nothing about it. Manager thinks it's OK to walk in people apartment whenever they feel like it without notice and no reason. Manager harasses people. Worst place I've ever lived in all my 50 years! Moving out ASAP! I see lots of people move in and within weeks or couple month move out cause so bad living here. Negative star rating.

I lived at these apartments for about 2.5 years and recently moved out this past summer. When i first moved in I was very happy with the style, location and price. After a few months things started happening like my ceiling was leaking from the roof and MICE!!! It took them about a year to fix the roof which lead to my downstairs carpet always being wet which left a nasty smell and my upstairs closets having Black mold throughout it which took them an additional 6 months to fix after all that the leak was still NEVER fixed! Now on to the Rodent problem or infestation should I say, all I can say is they kept coming one after another. Maintenance came to set traps(sticky traps) and when they came to check there would always be atleast 2 mice on the pad. I couldn't take living like that and it was clear the mice weren't going anywhere but I was!!! Within the last 5 months of me living there I myself caught 8 mice not counting the ones maintenance caught. On the day I moved out there was so much mouse turds behind my couch and even dead mice under my couch. So take it from me if your looking for an apartment look elsewhere and don't get stuck in a lease with this place!

My son graduated college and was getting his first apartment and was told one price and a move in date, but the rent was changed on the same address three times by hundreds of dollars and the date was also changed three times as well plus they asked for a large deposit even when there website stated a lower amount . Please look elsewhere you'll find a better community you'll regret this place ....... This isn't a one stop shop here .............. 08/31/2018
Property Manager at Cornerstone Crossing, Responded To This Review
We apologize for any miscommunication from our leasing staff during your son's apartment search. Our website says that the deposit amount depends on applicant's credit history and leasing background. Please ask your son to contact us at the leasing office if we can assist him further. Thank you for your comments.
This has to be one of the worst places to live if you enjoy nice living conditions. I moved in to a 2 bedroom, one bath around the end of February. To start, when I walked the apartment, it smelled like cat pee, and she reassured me they were having the carpets cleaned the day before I moved in. The day I moved in it was still there, and I was told someone would come clean it in 24-48 hours. Never happened, so I finally gave up and paid for it myself. In doing so, I could only vacuum one room at a time because my brand new vacuum would get clogged with pet hair. (Still to this day I get a ton of hair in my vacuum, and I have no pets). Next my porch light, smoke detectors, bathroom light and kitchen lights have all gone out, and each call to the "24 hour emergency maintenance" has been ignored and not taken care of. But I let all of these things go until I started facing bigger problems. Once it started getting hot, I noticed my AC wasn't working. The fan wont even turn on. So not only is it not blowing cold air, its not even blowing any air. I called on May 26th, and was told someone would be there in 24-48 hours. I called every day for the next 3 weeks. As of today, June 21st, I still have no AC. It is 87* in my apartment. The office tells me that they will get to it when they can, and they answer requests as they come. She confirmed that they are 4 weeks behind, which I don't believe. SO AGAIN, I am left to handle it myself, because currently I cannot even sleep at my apartment. I had someone come look at my AC last night, and they discovered MOLD all in the walls of my utility closet, mold that was PAINTED OVER!! So they knew it was there and just covered it up. In all of this, I have been told I will not get a discount or compensation. I am paying full price for an apartment I haven't even lived in for a month due to them not handling things they promise to take care of. Just don't live here. It's cheap, but even then, its not worth it.

Dayjanae is awesome, if you ask her something that you need, she gets if done QUICK like Jimmy Johns. She can pay attention to what you and 3 other people saying and needing all at once. By time you blink, you got it and you didn't even asked her, she gets it done. MY GIRL.??

Let start with the non refundable deposit, this is how they trap you. So once you are approved you have to pay have of your deposit. The problem is you don’t get to see the actual apartment you paying the deposit for. Your deposit is the same amount regardless of what size apartment you move into. For example, I was originally supposed to move into a 2 bedroom townhome on the Reynoldsburg side, but then my apartment was rented out. (That’s a whole another issue). So instead I ended out with a much smaller 2 bedroom garden apartment (This was their next available and I needed somewhere to move). You would think since the rent amount was way cheaper my deposit amount would have been less, but it was not. I then get to see the apartment today of move in since they told me they couldn’t show me an unfinished apartment (apparently the person had just turned the keys in 2 days prior to me paying the balance of my deposit). My move in date was supposed to be a little less than a month later. Move in date, right before lease signing I got to see the apartment. The walls were cleaned but the carpet was filthy as heck. It smelled like a dog. The kitchen cabinets were dirty and they still had stuff in some of them. They balcony had dog poop on them. Them let’s go back to the carpet that they claim they cleaned but was visibly soiled and had areas of dog peed on them, and when I pointed this out to the property manager he still refused to clean the carpet. He tried to tell me the stains wouldn’t come out. I have videos and pictures, that I plan to upload on here some how as well. And have names and all. If I could do it all over again I wouldn’t do it.

This place is terrible and i hate living here. they do not care about your living conditions! The rental offices lies about everything they can. I’ve been living here for about 4 months. They showed me the exact apartment I was moving into after i signed my lease. The apartment was filthy and they did not clean it. The carpet has many stains and smelled terrible. My dishwasher was over heated and stopped working and i never received a replacement. And also they water in my apartment is very very very cloudy and they are doing nothing to fix it. Do not set yourself up and move here it’s HORRIBLE!

Don’t bother trying to call for help with anything, they hardly ever answer and when they do they clearly don’t care at all about helping you. The apartments themselves are okay but the neighborhood isn’t great, and don’t bother asking the staff about crime in the area, they’ll just play dumb and say it’s a quiet area. Absolutely horrible and I cannot wait to move out of this place.

Deserves a negative 5 rating! Management is untrustworthy & unprofessional. They are liars & thieves! Ad says water & trash is included NO IT'S NOT!!!! THAT IS A LIE!! Don't bother trying to call they don't answer the phone or return messages. Management harasses, intimidates & bullies tenants. They nickel & dime you to death with fees. $30/mo for fake granite countertops that are old. $3/mo for THEIR website that doesn't work majority of the time. $3.50 for trash. Arbitrary amount for water. The tenants never get to see the bill. They just say you owe X amount for water. They charge late fees EVEN THOUGH YOU PAID ON TIME!!! They are so incompetent that when THEY screw up they blame the tenants. Management refuses to resolve any issues or problems. Not a safe place to live because management WILL come inside your apartment whenever they want for no reason. DO NOT RENT FROM ANYWHERE OWNED BY NEW LIFE PROPERTY!!!! They are lower than a snakes belly!!! Scum of the earth!! Any 4-5 star ratings or good reviews are FAKE! Posted by management & staff to hide the truth about how terrible NEW LIFE PROPERTY really is!

My 68 grandmother has been living her for 11 years. Her furnace caught fire during the winter. They forced her to sign a new lease and pay before relocating her to another unit. The new place was infested with roaches and they made her wait 30 days before they offered to help move her furniture...only to then give her a time limit on how much they were willing to help. This is the worst place to ever consider moving and I am speaking with my attorney

i Applied for this apartment.... They did me dirty firstly, had me do a walk thru as if I was getting the apartment. Got back to the office and was told that I had been denied the apartment because my boyfriend got denied on my application. After I was already told I could move in with or without him being accepted. They tried to argue and argue with me about it after I paid double application fees to just to apply alone. I had copy’s of my e-mails saying when my move in date was and everything....... tragic huh? Well I live here now I’m comfortable. As long as you pay rent on time your good!! P.S. they don’t ever answer the phone.

I attempted to rent a place with them and a life situation came up and I was over capacity for the apartment type I wanted. I tried to get a refund and they were unwilling to assist. Awful treatment and terrible service. DON'T MOVE HERE!!!

Three years I've lived in this apartment, through waves of neighbors getting evicted for various offenses including police incidents. I have always paid my rent, usually on the 31st or 1st of the month. This month I paid it on Saturday the 2nd, still a penalty-free day and the beginning of a holiday weekend. I wrote the check out in person as always, and joked with the office worker that the water fee brought it to a penny over an even dollar amount. She initialed and stamped it, made me a photocopy, and I went on my way. On Friday the 8th management left a notice on my door giving me three days to vacate the premises for nonpayment. Fortunately the office was open for one more hour when I discovered the notice. I immediately drove over there to set things right. Thinking I had thrown away my proof, because I have never had a problem before, it was impossible to get satisfaction. I told the (different) office worker the story of paying it in person on the second, joking around, getting it stamped, etc. She asked, "Did you put it in the drop box?"! Evil eye, repeat story. She and another office worker looked through the various offices for the check; could not find a trace of it. The finance person was busy. I finally asked how much I needed in a money order to clear the problem. Basic rent plus $100 charge. Fine. As I got into my car, I glanced back and saw the photocopy of the check on the floor. I had just tossed it there while I had company in my car for the week. Triumphantly I walked back inside. She was busy with the next customer so I handed it to the co-looker and waited while he reopened the case. And waited. Finally a third office worker he had passed it off to came to me. She said they had found that the payment was "attached" to my account but the bank had refused it saying they could not find my account with them. (This was an account opened within the year and the fifth time I had paid from that account.) They would try to run it through again on Monday the 11th and I should stop in near closing time to see how that went. I had thought it odd that the check hadn't cleared the bank by the usual date. Still, why couldn't they have notified me, a dependable tenant, that there was a problem before taking such drastic measures? This followed a non-attempt to communicate last summer when my AC failed, and they canceled the work order because they didn't have access keys!

I think I dodged a bullet with this one. I applied for this apartment and got approved. Everything seemed to be moving at a fast pace, which normally would be fine, but it caused some concern for me. Long story short, I paid a $49 deposit to hold the apartment; they gave me 72 hours to pay the rest of the deposit, which wouldn't have been a problem if I didn't work during the hours they were open. I called, and called, and called, and called, and CALLED to see if they had a night drop box to put the deposit in. No answer. Kept saying they were out showing apartments. Needless to say, they said my application was cancelled and they were keeping my $49. After reviewing the reviews on here, I think I'm grateful that I dodged that bullet. Because I was going to reapply, but they could not confirm that I would be reimbursed if, in fact, they're apartment is in poor condition like these reviews suggest that they are. DON'T DO IT!!!

I went on a tour of the unit I'm interested in and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! The staff was very polite and informative and the layout was awesome. I'm very excited to become a part of this community.
Been looking for an apartment for some time now and couldn't find anything in my price range that were still great looking. Also the service was very great when I came in to fill out the app. I would definitely recommend these apartments to a friend.
The apartments that they have are very spacious. The resident manager are very helpful by helping finding the apartment you are trying to look for at your budget and preference. Also I love the fact that they have different ways of earning money off your first month's rent and lease as well. You get you're money's worth of what you pay for.
I absolutely love my place! I have no issues here. Everything from the service to the apartment was excellent! I was approved instantly and I was moved in A LOT sooner then I was hoping! Cassie did an amazing job!
