Resting in the San Bernardino Valley, about five miles southwest of Downtown Riverside, La Sierra is a charming neighborhood with its own flavor. La Sierra has several small schools and parks, while multiple beaches are about an hour’s drive away. The neighborhood is home to La Sierra University, creating the vibrant atmosphere of a university town with an abundance of restaurants and shops. The amenities are nice, but there’s no fix for the flooding that occurs when it’s raining hard. Be aware of that if you want to be up at 6am, moving your car in 1.5ft of rainwater.
I had a great experience with the moved in process staff was very nice. My first few nights went well but I noticed that if your on the bottom ofcourse you're going to deal with noise from upstairs but the apartment has super thin walls I mean you can hear EVERYTHING. I'm disappointed with having to hear every single noise literally. It's disturbing if you know what I mean. Other than that neighbors are nice and it's pretty quiet outside.
My family and I have been living here since a August. We have had items stolen from our patio area and had our vehicle broken into & almost stolen. Management is terrible and refuse to do anything about the lack of security. For a 700+ apartment complex their security protocols are lacking. No properly functioning cameras or enough security at night. Beware of the “affordable” rent this place has. It’s not worth it when you constantly have to watch your back to ensure your home is getting broken into. Save yourself a huge headache & look elsewhere.
I have lived here for 6 months and EVERY SINGLE DAY without fail i am instantly put in a bad mood the moment i get here because there is NEVER a place for me to park my car. They say assigned, covered parking yet fail to inform you that is for only 1 vehicle so god forbid you have a spouse or roommate which i do and she has the 1 spot then 1 of you is completely screwed and i mean that in the worst way. I struggle on a daily basis, have received several tickets, 1 week after i moved in they attempted to tow my car and pulled the bumper off causing over $2,000 in repairs no one takes responsibilty for and the spot i parked in didn't even belong to anyone and to this day still is empty. I drove around for almost an hour tonight searching for a spot to park and finally found a spot clear on the opposite end of the apartments, there were only 2 other spots open but were handicapped and last time i parked there i got towed and had to pay $700. to get my car back that was only last week 3 days later i got a $400. ticket i cant afford either. This has caused me a great deal of stress and money. They say garages available yet i have been on a so-called waiting list for 6 months now and don't see that happening before i move out which hopefully will be soon.
Lived there for few yrs, had cars broken into and things stolen out of patio, or pics of guy and mangers just say.. sorry that happened. Fights outside and in home robbery and they still don’t care. DO NOT move there. If you do just remember... I told you so. In office people don’t care about the residents.
My family and I moved in about 4 months ago and we are happy with everything so far! Great apartments! Clean! Free Coffee! Nice movie theatre! Decent for a great price! If schools had a higher level of education we would definitely stay here, so we are counting months to move near better schools. Rating apartments a 10!! Schools near by a 0.
Do not refer anyone here expecting to get the $250 they promise. I have referred someone and they've been living here for half a year now and I still haven't received a check. Any time I can get a hold of them, they tell me they will look into it but it's usually emails being ignored or a "we'll call you back" and nothing ever gets resolved. False advertisement at it's finest.

They have roaches, don’t care about their residents once they’ve moved in, and have a serious parking problem. You only get one assigned parking spot per apartment, but they give out extra passes so you can battle royale for the 20 free spots. You car will get towed once a year as a lovely “thank you” gift. Oh, and there is often crack pipes and needles left by the pools and common areas. Not worth the rent they raise twice a year.
We were looking for an apartment where we could get more bang for our buck. We have lived here 6 months and we love it. The property grounds are kept up, pool and gym are great. We live downstairs and our neighbors are very quite.
I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND I LOVE THE COMPLEX! THE GROUNDS ARE BEAUTIFUL. THEY USUALLY KEEP IT VERY CLEAN AND THERE IS TONS OF THINGS TO KEEP US BUSY! PLUS, THEY JUST STARTED HAVING MOVING AT THE PARK AND I THINK THATS GREAT! THE MAINTENANCE IS ALWAYS MORE THAN WILLING TO HELP AND THE PARKING HAS IMPROVED TREMENDOUSLY. MY ONLY ISSUE IS THAT THE RENT IS A BIT HIGH, BUT I UNDERSTAND THEY HAVE TO KEEP UP WITH THE ECONOMY. AND HONESTLY WITH ALL THAT THEY OFFER I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY THEY HAVE THIS HIGH PRICE!
I've lived in Corona Pointe Resort going on 3-1/2 years now. In those years, they switched management team to AMCLiving and they are making a lot of improvements to the complex. New windows were installed, landscape has been changed to be more water efficent and all 4 pools and GYM(1) center were upgraded giving the complex a more clean, crisp feeling. They offer spin classes and other events throughout the month. Also some activities or the little ones. The complex is not gate controlled but they do have security guards on site. The new management does not tollerate problemsome tenants. If you bring trouble, most likely you won't be allowed to renew your lease. My neighbors are nice and pleasant when I see them. The prices are reasonable for the location and for what they offer. La Sierra University is located right down the street so there are quite a few tenants that come and go as the school quarter ends. This complex is on the large side with 700 units, so I would recommend this complex for commuters or small families just starting out. Overall they are still making great improvements and I look forward to the changes. Pros and Cons Pros: -1 assigned carport parking spot -Practical Amenities i.e washe/dryer, basic kitchen appliances -Great storage! -Located right by the 91 freeway (could be a con but its convenient for me) -Responsive maintenance team -Friendly staff ( The Resident Service Center Staff) I wouldn't say the staff that "Welcomes" new tenants are friendly to current residents though. Cons: -limited parking for additional vehicles or guest. (parking usually fills up around 6pm everyday and hardly and extra parking on the weekends.) -Mornings can be very loud! i.e garbage trucks, lawn service, freeway noise. -Large complex
Great community. Going through some renovations that are making the place look great. Security guards patrol the property throughout the day and into the night. Really friendly staff in the leasing office and Resident Services office. The response time when it comes to maintenance requests could be a little bit better but it's a huge complex so it's understandable. Overall a great, quiet place to live with multiple pools, tennis courts, and a fully equipped gym. Highly recommend.
