Property Ratings at Coronado Flats
The walls are paper thin and I can pretty much recite the conversations my neighbors have. The dog park area is also where everyone can hear it and people love to take their dogs out at 11pm. The parking is noted as one spot per person, but if you are out late you can come back to a situation where there are no spots left and they ticket when parking on the street. The apartment itself is nice but until they can get good parking available and fix the wall problem it's not worth the high price.

Thank you for your feedback, and your continued renewals at the community! To clarify for potential residents on parking, parking is at a premium and only one parking pass is issued per unit. There is plenty of adjacent street parking in the Coronado neighborhood. Additional City of Phoenix issued permits(minimal cost) allow residents to park anywhere/anytime in the neighborhood. The City will only ticket those who have illegally parked.
I’ve lived here for almost two years and have never had any problems. It’s generally quiet, clean, and everyone is nice. Management is always on top of things and is very responsive. While parking in an alley isn’t the greatest, the inside of the complex and the apartments make up for it. Granite counters, real wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, tiled showers, wood floors, etc.
The renovation is great, however, since the renovation the plank wood floors began to separate from the walls due to the heat in the summer! Nothing can be done about it. For a family, it is extremely difficult and impossible to avoid noises made by neighbors on the side, and also upstairs neighbors (you can hear people's conversations,tv, etc.) Especially those who walk with heels on and those who have cats/ dogs that run around everywhere. The parking is extremely limited. With covered parking space, there still seems to be several cars getting broken into every year (even those who do not leave valuables in their car). Lots of homeless people hanging around, looking in the garbage in the early morning, and very late at night-which is very close to parking area. Even though street parking is an option, there are certain parts of the street that you cannot park on (or you will be cited), making you park one block away in an already sketchy area. Who wants to leave their vehicle out in the open street every night? The appliances are great, the kitchen is very spacious. The rooms, are very small (queen size bed/frame and dresser might fit just perfect), you have a bigger living room and kitchen, small bedrooms and bathroom. (2 bedrooms, 1 bath)For single individuals this would be a great place to relocate yourself at a decent price to enjoy the closeness of downtown Phx.

We apologize that you did not fully enjoy the building and appreciate the kind words of the great value we offer close to Downtown Phoenix. The floor plans are some of the largest in the area and we do have excellent kitchens as noted! It is an urban apartment building and not always ideal for a family, especially if you desire to never hear your neighbors and need an abundance of parking. The parking situation is clearly noted of accommodating approximately one space per unit, and there is a decent amount of street parking in the great Coronado neighborhood.
The management is amazing! They are quick to respond, accommodating, and easy to work with. Any question or issue I had was immediately addressed in a polite and professional manner, which can't be said for a lot of property management companies. The rent is a great deal, the units are updated and modern, and the common areas are well kept and clean. My experience renting here has been great!
Great Pool and BBQ area. Units are large for apartment living and the remodel was done well with high end finishes. Can't beat the amenities in Coronado area!
My two bedroom apartment was huge with lots of natural light and an open layout. The pool and BBQ area were really well done. I saw quite a few units and they all seem to be really nicely done with recent renovations (stainless steel appliances, nice kitchen design, modern floors etc.) I love the neighborhood and had a good experience.
I love these apartments. They are a fair price for what you are getting. Ithe property was recently redone and reopened last year. The interior is lovely. Hardwood floor, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and dark cabinets. There are a handful of floor plans, I have seen several and all are quite spacious and well designed. The only troubles I've had is with maitainence being slow or not thorough but I believed they changed who they were working with and I haven't had a reason to use them. The parking is limited and the floors are pretty thin so you can hear your neighbors pretty clearly. Other than that I am very happy to have chosen to stay here and would definitely recommend.
