Coronado Place and Towers

DO NOT LIVE HERE! That’s the best advice you can get. The apartment I was given didn’t resemble the what I was shown at all. When I moved in I was surprised to see that my apartment door was open and the place was trashed. The room also didn’t resemble the floor plan I was shown in any way in terms of the layout or rooms. It makes me sick to my stomach to say that I live here. The appliances are literally held together by tape and covered in rust and stains. The entire complex is trashed. Please listen to what others say and don’t live here!

Living here has been the longest headache of my life. The elevators are constantly broken, fire alarms go off multiple times a week, the laundry facilities are unkempt and often broken, the gym is an utter joke with little equipment and broken machines. Management has changed in my time here, but I’ve seen no improvements. Get ready to be gaslit like crazy and waste your money on rent for a terrible building. Stay far away. Find another apartment.

Please dont ever go to this Coronado apartment for these reasons: 1/ They never fix my air/heat conditioner, I have to open the oven in the kitchen the whole year to warm up in the winter. And i have to open the fridge to cool down in the summer. I came and asked them so many times but they never actually done fixing it. Not only me, but also my other friends living in the same floor were suffering the same things and she had to buy her mini cool fan for it. 2/ Rude people with unprofessional interaction. Dont even mention about their manager lol 3/ the ceiling was dropping on my face with white stuffs while i was sleeping and my friends came and ask what was on my face at that time lol That was a year of my unlucky experience that I genuinely hope that people wont make the same mistake as I did.

Management at this building is horrific. They regularly violate the lease by failing to provide necessary agreed-upon services to tenants. There was no internet for over a month, a service we pay for. There has been no hot water at least once a week for the past 5 months with no end in sight. Management is rude and nonresponsive. Avoid at all costs.

This place is horribly run. There is no active management and maintenance issues takes weeks to resolve. Elevators are regularly out of service. "Secure" parking garage has the gate left open. The only thing they do well is harass you to renew your lease!

Coronado has been a great place to live. Neighbors are usually quiet, maintenance is fairly quick and staff is nice.

If you want to live in a historic St. Louis landmark, this should be a wonderful location. The building was built in the 20s and was a focal point of the music scene that St. Louis prides itself on today. Unfortunately, the building needs love. Management at the property is a revolving door. Unfortunately, the current manager can be described as egotistical and incompetent at best. Until there is a complete overhaul of the management, it would be unreasonable to expect working utilities, advertised amenities, responsive maintenance, or any sense of pride from the custodians of this once great landmark.

Never. Live. Here. The management is rude, disrespectful and noncommunicatice. If something is wrong or broken you will get little to no response. They tell you things like you will be fined $1000 if you have a party, but leave you with no wifi for 3 weeks and lie about when it will be fixed. The treatment that me and everyone else I know that lives in these apartments have received is terrible and doesn’t feel like someone who is paying $900 a month to live here. I have friends with no hot water, no washer, broken sinks and blinds etc. and little remorse/ compensation is given. Avoid the headache and the tears of frustration and don’t live here.

Don’t be fooled by the 5-star reviews written by the staff. The place is terrible. Broken elevators, broken A/C. The leasing staff is very, very unprofessional - starting with the manager. I suggest looking elsewhere.

Please, for the love of GOD, fix the elevators. Months have gone by with MULTIPLE ELEVATORS broken. With each building having 14+ floors you can only imagine how long it takes for you to use an elevator. An absolute joke, keep throwing money away on these community events instead of putting it to good use.

The new staff is working hard to promote involvement and a sense of community! This has made me want to continue living here!

Coronado has been an amazing place to live. They host tons of community events and really care for their residents.

The staff here have been very helpful and attentive to their guests needs. They are also always going above and beyond to make their guests happy and healthy. We love Nado!

Everytime I have needed assistance the staff was quick at resolving whatever problem I had. 5 stars

I love that the apartment has an electronic Amazon Hub where the parcels are kept safely. I pick up mine after receiving an email and text that my parcels have arrived. It is fabulous!

My interactions with the new staff have been positive. There are some things that need work but they don't hesitate to give it to me straight. A place built this long ago needs some TLC

It looks like they brought in new people in the leasing office. Kinda refreshing to see something being done around here and people actually enjoying interacting with us.

Three years ago I gave this place five stars. I regret it. I have lived here since 2017 because I love the accessibility to the city. They are really good at offering you incentives and such to stay. I am over it! Every summer the apartments AC doesn’t cool the apartment well. It is currently 80 degrees in my apartment. I have put in a maintenance request to no avail… the leasing office staff said I would be getting a window unit today and at this point the office is closed and my apartment is still hot. The level of customer service and quality has fell so low in this complex it piriful. I am waiting for the end of this lease because at this point I am done. I don’t have the energy to put down all my other issues But read many of the one star reviews and you will get the point. This place is pitiful and needs real management who aims to increase the quality of living… it’s not worth the rent!

coronado is honestly just a terrible place to live. it is extremely overpriced and the utilities are "included" which is frustrating because we have gone days without water and weeks with wifi or heating without any notice and no response when we inquired about it. I want out of my lease so badly and have tried reaching out to multiple people and everyone just ignores me): also not to mention the safety issues going on around the building and in the parking lot. literally every other apartment around slu's campus is a much better place to live.

Good rent price, very close to SLU. It’s not very loud or noisy, overall great.

All inclusive utilities are really nice and I like that they have had giveaways for residents this past year.

The apartments are big and they have 3 bedrooms that can be shared. The gym is also really nice. I'm hoping they open the pool this year!

My experience at Coronado has generally been good with the office staff being helpful. My only complaint would be that the gym and pool were not fully open this past year.

The office staff at coronado are super friendly. I like that they do giveaways for residents even during covid.

Very close to the SLU campus and the apartments themselves are great in terms of quality and spacing. The staff is also very friendly!

I really really love living in the Coronado!!!! My favorite part is the staff. They are sooooooo nice and are always there to help me!

This isn't the fanciest place I've ever been, but the staff is consistent and helpful, and I love the location.

I currently live in the moolah building and have lived here for a little over a year now. While the floorplans are nice, the management team at Coronado does not do a good job with maintaining the four buildings they own. The elevator in my building has been down for over two weeks now and is normally down multiple times during the year. There are bugs and probably mice, they never clean the hallways/common areas even with coronavirus, and multiple other issues. For what you get when you live here it is definitely not work the high rent prices.

Coronado is really close to campus which is good if you're late for class. They also giveaway stuff on instagram and in the office which is cool.

Everything has not been perfect in my Apartment, but the office staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to maintenance problems.

Coronado is a beautiful building on the inside and out with friendly staff and timely maintenance. It’s right between downtown STL and the outer parts of the city, so nothing is too far away. Right by SLU’s campus. Definitely check it out!

I love how close this apartment complex is to Saint Louis University's campus. It is super easy and convenient for getting to classes. I also love all the amenities and access to a 24 hour gym. Overall a great place to live!

I just moved in August 15th and I am so happy! On move in day, my apartment wasn't what I was expecting, but they quickly and diligently moved me into a larger unit! I love my space and not to mention the location! I'm right across the street from all of my classes! I am already planning on renewing my lease because of the staff being so nice and diligent to my needs.

As a SLU student, this is the place to live. It's right across the street from campus and all of my friends live here. I am so excited to move in in August! This is going to be a great year!

I recently took a tour of the community. I loved all the amenities and location, but decided not to lease because they didn't have any one bedrooms available for when I needed to move. That being said, if they had what I needed available, I would absolutely move in!

Literally THE place to live in St. Louis. It central to everything, affordable and always improving!

I toured these apartments and was very impressed! Love the location and amenities. Everyone was friendly and made me feel welcome.

This place is perfectly located. I can get everywhere I need to go extremely quickly. Walking distant from the University (literally across the street) and within a 5-10 minute drive to everything the city has to offer. If you're a slu student and don't know st louis, you really want to live here!

Coronado is really great. I've lived here for two years and a lot of the negative reviews blow things way out of proportion and don't reflect mine or a lot of other peoples' experiences here. The bedrooms can be a little small, but the location, amenities (pool, full gym, study room, event space) and atmosphere more than make up for this. Also having utilities included saves more than you would expect. As a SLU student, I think this is really the best place to live.

I really enjoy living here! All of the amenities are absolutely amazing! My favorite is the pool. It's positioned perfectly to get the most sun all day long and I love laying out and soaking in the rays! I'm so excited to spend the rest of my summer days at the pool before school starts back up.

I have had an amazing experience living here. It is so close to saint Louis University's campus. Right across from the business school, making it a great location for students. All my friends live here and the management makes a great effort to organize fun social events with food

I would recommend the Coronado for anyone to live at. The facilities are very nice, the staff is very friendly, and the complex is very clean.

Coronado does an amazing job of bringing the tenants together for events. The maintenance workers are so friendly as well as the workers in the office.

I recently took a tour of Coronado and was taken away by the beauty of the building, from the old Hollywood glam of the lobby, to the modernity of all the amenities! This will be a great choice for anyone who appreciates the finer things.

I heard about this place from friends on campus and had to check it out. I applied the same day as my viewing because I knew all of my friends lived here! I have been here 2 years now and just renewed for a 3rd year! It's such a great place to live! I really like all of the events they do for the residents!
