Horrible Management
Been living here for 7 months. I live in the most expensive unit the Warwick. We got the townhouse with our wood floor being damaged with dust and debris coming out of it. I’ve talk to management and even called into the Cortland head office in Atlanta. They told me they can’t fix it and gave me a defective unit. Also, I’ve complained about the marijuana scent coming from my neighbors to the management multiple times. Nothing has been done about it even though it is a no smoking community.

Great apartment!
Apartments are newly remolded, and the facility amenities are great! Alanna is the property manger and she is super responsive and wonderful to work with. Always there to assist in any way possible. There are various events run throughout the year that are fun and engaging. The property is in a great location, ease of freeway access and close to the heart of New Albany. Overall, it's a great place to live within New Albany.

So, Berkeley Park is a pretty clean place with some cool people living here, but the rent is just crazy high. They even bumped it up by almost 20% recently! There's been a ton of construction going on too - roof fixes, gutter stuff, painting, and road work. It's been a hassle, with parking spots taken by construction crews and kids not having a safe place to play outside. Also, for how much we're paying in rent, you'd think there would be a party room or some kind of hangout spot, but there's nothing like that. The gym is just okay too. It's a bummer, honestly.

Berkeley Park is a centralized location in New Albany just a short drive from every store you could want. It has beautiful finishes, a lot of space for the pets, at an affordable price point. It has been a great step up from previous apartment complexes.

If you want to get out of the craziness out downtown, but still have. hundreds of fun things to do then this is the apartment complex for you. Everyone here is respectful of the property and other neighbors. No noisy neighbors blasting music at all hours or screaming and partying at all hours. You can even relax at the pool too because there aren't uncourteous people blasting music, screaming, and partying at all hours the pool is open, like other apartments we have lived it. Again, this is the best apartment my fiancee and I have ever lived in and as long as we're in Columbus, Ohio, we're not moving.

Its a very quiet community (if youre not too close to the highway)! The office staff and maintenance crew are outstanding! But corporate (Cortland) is doing NOTHING to improve the property. Its actually quite sad. Cortland has assembled an AMAZING team ... but that team is getting ZERO assistance (my interpretation).

I would love to give a good review for this apartment complex. It has great potential. However, I have had to put in multiple request to get repairs completed. Repairs are half done and management/maintenance does not provide communication regarding plans to finish repairs. For the amount of rent I pay, I expect so much more. I do not foresee renewal at this point, nor would I recommend others.

We are extremely disappointed in the management here. We have been trying to amicably work through the maintenance issues at our apartment, but we receive little to no follow through. Unless we call and complain daily nothing happens. The lower level of our apartment has smelt like a dead animal/pet urine for five months. We have thrown away rugs, clothing and shoes that have absorbed the smell. Its very disappointing that tenants arent valued and prioritized when they put in request after request.

The location is ideal. Very easy access to 161 and walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and park areas. The townhouse style layout of the units gives a feeling of privacy and spaciousness and the walk-in garages give added security as well as respite from the ravages of central Ohio winters!!

7 years and still going strong even after down sizing. New owners caused new rates and it was just more practical for me to go to a one bedroom. I have a perfect location on the complex because I am lucky to have a little yard (public of course) and it gives me that homie feeling. Although living under another apartment when the issue of noise came up I simply talked to the neighbor and we are living happily ever after. The complex location in New Albany is fabulous ! A minute or two and I am on 161. Another 10 minutes I am on 270. In walking distance is Krogers, hair salon, pharmacy, nail salon, UPS center, and loads of restaurants near by. Jump in your car (or walk, but I am old so the car it is.) and five minutes you are in the center of NA with more restaurants, Starbucks, library, ice cream, and smaller shops. The management team along with the maintenance staff have always treated me with respect, understood my issues when I had one and are just lovely people to deal with. Along with all the previous information I want you to know the apartments are newly remodeled, new work out rooms, fire places, outside TV, and a wonderful pool. It can't hurt to come and look. Trust the ol lady ....you will want to stay.

We love living at Berkeley. The office staff and maintenance crew are wonderful. The community is quiet, and the residents are all very courteous and friendly. We definitely recommend living at Berkeley!

The apartment was dirty when I moved in, the appliances/outlets did not work appropriately, there are water stains and cracked drywall all over the place, and the apartment itself is subpar. The offerings by the staff are not always adhered to in regards to garbage and maintenance. Terrible experience!! I would never recommend anyone move in this location.
