If you like running, walking, or biking daily this is the place for you. The complex is located on the hammocks lakeside trail which is a huge perk. It was hard to find a place in the area that would allow my medium sided dog, but this place is very pet friendly (the trail is also awesome for walking your dog). I have lived here for almost 3 years and really like it.

I love living in this beautiful community! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the amenities are fantastic, including a great gym and multiple pools. The lake view is stunning, and the regular community events make it easy to feel connected. Highly recommend!

Rats in every attic in every domain, hardwood flooring that you can roll out in a roll figure that one out. Plus carpeting no more than 35 cents a square foot if that. If you have a 24-hour job then it's a great place to live.
Not recommended, you pay for amenities tou cannot use
moving into a new place is a real challenge! Many factors need to be taking into consideration. Cortland team makes this experience convenient and easy to make the decision comfortable and enjoyable. Congratulations to the Cortland team for the professional customer service.

Very overpriced for the quality of life. Residents have no consideration for their neighbors. Spiders, ants, and other bugs live here too, and pest control is not helpful.
My experience has been excellent. I have nothing bad to say about the Residences, it is a nice place to live.
The team are the best,always happy and always make you feel yours concerns are the only.
From the moment I walked in, Alex greeted me with warmth and an impressive knowledge of the community. She took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel confident about considering this complex as my new home. Jessica was equally delightful! Her friendliness and helpfulness made the application process a breeze. she provided valuable insights about the area and truly made me feel like a valued potential resident. Overall I felt like I was in a welcoming atmosphere that wasn’t just informative, but enjoyable. I left with a smile and excitement about possibly calling this place home!

I have been living here for about 5 months and regret moving here. This place is noisy all the time, with construction noise every day, neighbors having get-togethers and traffic noise 24/7. Anywhere you look there is garbage, damaged roads and just overall dirty areas. Even the pool was shut down by the county for health violation codes. Do yourself a favor don't move here.

Worst place I have ever lived at, car got towed yesterday because now they expect us to pay to park at any parking spot here. Is not stated in the contract that we need to pay and register our cars with a company called OneCall parking and last night my car got towed. They told me that even if it's not in our contract to pay for this that they can force us to pay for it. The place is disgusting, everything is dirty, the lake area is not taken care of, there isn't' even a volleyball net where there should be. I see rats around all the time, there's even holes on the street. No to move here for your own good.

More than 3 years living in the community… never had an inconvenience with management.. always receive a prompt response to my email or calls …exited to see community once renovations are done
I have had the best experience here. The maintenance manager Ronald and his team are so attentive and do an amazing job! I always recommend this community to everyone!

I’ve been living at Cortland at the Hammocks for the past year, and it’s been an outstanding experience. The apartment complex is beautifully maintained with lush landscaping, clean common areas, and excellent amenities. The pool area and fitness center are particular highlights, providing a great place to relax and stay active. One of the best aspects of living here has been the exceptional service provided by Ronald, the service manager. Ronald is always friendly, professional, and incredibly responsive. Whether it's a routine maintenance request or an urgent issue, Ronald handles everything efficiently and with a smile. His dedication to the residents truly sets Cortland at the Hammocks apart. Overall, I highly recommend Cortland at the Hammocks to anyone looking for a wonderful place to call home. Excellent friendly community clean and maintained with rough parking accommodations
I lived at Cortland at the Hammocks for 2 years and really enjoyed my stay! It’s in a great location with a beautiful trail that circles the area, the maintance team is so quick to respond to any issues and the office staff was always friendly and responsive. I had great neighbors that I already miss! I actually transferred and stayed with Cortland because of my experience here and only left because work brought me to Tampa. They have been making great improvements over the last year to the property so I only seeing it getting better. Great area and space to call home!

Do not rent here. Cortland has shown it is not able to properly maintain apartment buildings, everything is always dirty, and nothing ever gets finished.
The management team and maintenance team at Cortland at The Hammocks is above and beyond phenomenal. They exude professionalism and respect to all of us residents and we very much appreciate it.
Overheard staff speaking about the fake reviews they're writing on here. This place is a dump, nothing is nice about it.

Security is useless even when called at late nighttime they never answer. The pool is always noisy after regular time. Neighbors never respect the rules. This is a shame.
Most friendly staff and maintenance team is a call away in case of any issues. Lakeview is picturesque. No parking issues. Newly renovated gym and club house are added attractions. A play area for kids would be an added advantage.

Worst complex you can live at, waited almost a year for the gym to open and now it's always closed. It's also only open during business hours. I can never go at that time, they said they would give us access for after hours since October and nothing. Complex is dirty all around, everything breaks in my unit, there's minimal to no light in the parking at night. Too expensive for the living environment they provide.
