This is such a wonderful community they've brought together, some lovely events are always coming around and always bring something fun to brighten up the week. The maintenance and management are so on top of everything it’s amazing I’ve meet some truly kind and helpful people from staff that are willing to go out of their way to make sure things are going smoothly for our community. I love the new place I call home.
Great place to stay that is easily accessible to all of Central Florida. The units are absolutely beautiful and the Cortland Team are always warm and welcoming. Look no further for the perfect community.

Cortland is a really nice place to live. Been here about 5 going on 6 years. The group they have managing Cortland is pretty good. The maintenance team is very efficient when needed which isn't often because they keep these apartments up really good. So, for now we're happy.
This community is safe and quiet. The buildings are well-maintained. There are beautiful grounds and amenities and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Cortland Lakes is a wonderful place to live. The apartments are clean and well designed, The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The entire staff, including maintenance are hard working and extremely friendly.always enthusiastically greeting me while on walks around the complex. It is a safe and convenient place to live with nature all around and easy access to many stores and restaurants as well as to major freeways in the area. The best place to live in Altamonte Springs and likely Orlando!
the leasing guys are a whole other level of awful. They drag their feet like they're walking through molasses, and good luck getting them to return your calls. It's like dealing with ghosts. Avoid this place like the plague! Poor management by the way.

I honestly enjoy living at Cortland. Been here 4 years and just renewed lease again. The property is very well maintained. Yeah, the gate could use some extra attention but the maintenence team is awesome & the office is pretty good about getting things taken care of.

Cortland is a really nice place to live mostly. It's a little noisy at times from all the lawn services & frequently cleaning the hallways but I'll take it. At least they keep the place looking good.

I love this community because the homes are in good condition. The community is quiet and safe. There are amenities including a large fitness center, 2 nice pools, and even cable is included for a great price. The people I encounter outside always greet me with a smile and hello. Worst complete I’ve ever lived in. Maintenance doesn’t have a clue and the staff turnover is unlike anything we’ve ever seen anywhere in the 7 places we’ve live in Florida. Do not live here unless you want a very expensive headache and to most likely get robbed as well.

Cortland is a beautiful place. I love the apartment I’m in and all the amenities. Down side? You ac will freeze over at lease 6 different times because they choose to bandaid the problem instead of figuring out the real problem and fixing it.

Loving my apartment at this community ! Best thing that I love is that it is SMOKE FREE ! Patricia is amazing with the events and the staff is great.Everything in the apt is up yo date with the stainless steel appliances and washer and dryer(YESSS) . Loving the resident events , best part they always have great food, prizes and even food trucks. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful, the apts are nice (if you are up to clean them yourself after move in -it wasn't ready) and the office is always polite but doesn't actually do anything they claim so hopefully youll live next to people that follow the rules so you wont need to rely on the office for anything. Highly recommend getting your own deadbolt and security system because they enter your home often or if someone works from home/your on opposite schedules from your partner like we are.

The maintenance team here is very good. They respond quickly and resolve issues in a timely manner. I've honestly enjoyed how nice the features are in my apartment. Sometimes the noise level is a bit much but lately it's been quiet.

I've had ants since move in. There was no pest control done prior to move in, despite the apt having been vacant for a bit. No on should ever have to move into a pest issue. That should have been part of the management checklist. The apt was also dirty at move-in, and there was no offer to have it cleaned. Airflow in master bedroom SUCKS, and AC has gone out twice in just a few weeks. UPDATE: STILL HAVE ANTS 6 mos. post move-in, so I'm breaking my lease and moving out soon. There was no offer to negate the lease break fee since ALL of my issues (more to come on the other issues) were due to their lack of doing what was needed prior to my move in. This so called gated community is only gated on the front side which is almost always broken. Pools constantly down for maintenance. But, the nature preserve on back is wide open so there have been bears and alligators on property, along with big snakes. This is not worth the money. Find someplace else.

I love living here. It’s convenient to shopping, I-4, and lake lotus park. The staff is friendly and I absolutely love my floor plan and view. I’d highly recommend moving here!!

The hallways are filled wit spider webs ! Insects ! Also they claim it’s a gated community! But the gate is broken majority of the time

The management and maintenance staff of Cortland Lake Lotus are absolutely tremendous. I've lived here for two years and have never felt more at home than with the folks who manage and operate this community. They truly care about their residents. The community is extremely friendly and dog friendly. There are weekly food truck events that have awesome options to chose from. If there is ever an issue the maintenance team is quick to respond. Also, the communication between the staff and the residents is incomparable. You always know what’s going on and your phone calls are answered.
