Its only our 3rd month in Cortland Las Colinas and so far everything is great. Maintenance is quick to resolve service requests. Management follows up if any sort of complaints are voiced. The common areas are well maintained and clean. One package have gotten stolen though from our front door while we were not home for hours. There's plenty of parking spaces available. Love our valet trash also.

Do not move here! Management is terrible, they never answer the phone or email. A lot of misinformation and miscommunication. I would have to call corporate every time I needed an answer. Building is full bugs I had roaches, spiders in my backyard and sometimes inside my apartment, they don’t keep up with pest control anywhere in the building you would see roaches in the garage in the hallways and nothing gets done. Maintenance is the only positive thing in this complex they are amazing very attentive and professional.

As a resident of Cortland Las Colinas for almost 4 years I'm extremely disappointed in the management of the community. Since moving here I've experienced changes in the entire office staff ever year, which as resulted in poor communication with residents regarding changes being made, no sense if community with the staff (excluding the amazing maintenance team) as events are non existent. Changes such as parking requirements are implemented with no warning and conflict with lease terms. The property is dated and needs constant service. For example the main elevator is always down for a month or more. Patch work paint on the wall rather than painting the entire wall. Dirty and dated carpets. Inconsistent trash pick up. But still rent continues to rise. Office management is never on sight. And it appears management does not communicate changes with the other staff as all seem unaware of the changes being made so questions and concerns remain unanswered until the manager choose to appear again. You can never reach anyone by phone and you have to wait 10-15 mins to speak with someone in person because staffing is always limited.

Best place to call home. We have been living here almost 4yrs now and had never felt like looking for different apartment or leaving this place. Our apartment is facing towards the lake view and we enjoy our summers mostly in patio. Security of the apartment is a great thing we need to talk. Never heard of any suspicious things/person entering into premises. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for nice apartment with all amenties.

The team at Courtland Las Colinas has done an excellent jog since day one. Great team, I have no complaints regarding the team however I do have a complaint about the door to door trash pickup. They drop debris down the hallway when picking up the trash. Apparently it’s from someone’s loose trash. I tie my trash tight so nothing can come out, others should do the same. If it’s too full start another bag.

Sometimes when you move in community management does not explain all the things and that caused lots of penalties for residents. When you go in office management team always busy and sometimes you will not get answer you need . Also roaches are coming in apartment from large sink holes but management is not aware. Roaches problems they need to fix immediately but for us that problem solution to resolve took 3 months .

My sons came in from Atlanta and had nothing to say but good things about the building and surrounding area. Stay away if you can!
WORST OUT OF THE STATE EXPERIENCE. Do not trust what they tell you over the phone. They made promises that they did not keep just so you pay the application fee and what happens after is just "Oops sorry, we are human, we make mistakes". They are not reliable and their friendly service is just fake to me. Don't make mistakes and just smile and say sorry! If you are a reliable business, you make a mistake and you fix it. Don't just smile and apologize. Your apology cost me thousands of dollars and it's not acceptable. Beside what they did to me, the Apartment walls are thin and you can hear everything that is happening with your neighbors. The windows are drafty. The fire alarm goes off too often in the middle of the night. Half of their building doesn't get any sun exposure and the pool gets ZERO sun exposure. I was there for less than a month and I had to leave. They did not deserve my business and I would never recommend them to anyone I actually care about. Good luck everyone!

My experience living at this property, the past three years has been up and down. The upkeep of the property was better than average. Some things break down more than should, such as the parking garage gate. The biggest disappointment, however, was finding out (not notified) that my rent was increasing by nearly $500 IN JUST 45 DAYS BEFORE MY LEASE RENEWAL DATE.

Apartment community is nicely designed. Apartment interior set up is close to perfect, with perfect use of space. Finishes are good. Community is well maintained and extremely convenient. Train location is a great benefit and curse. Great for quick/cheap travel. Train noise sucks at night. Community staff is very good, and quick to attend to your needs. If you’re a light sleeper, opt for a apartment that’s away from the train.

I have lived at the cortland Las Colinas residents for 1 1/2 years love the location and views of the lake and surrounding area. Location is clean and great valet trash services, maintenance people are always available for needs and staff always at your service. The complex has plenty of amenities like the sky deck or pool houses. Love my space I’ve created while here.

AMAZING PROPERTY
This community is truly beautiful, with an amazing team! Lexi, the Community Manager, helped me with finding the perfect home. She really made me want to be apart of the Cortland Las Colinas Family, with how welcoming, patient and honest she was with all of my questions. Madison the assistant manager, was very helpful as well when I had questions about the portal. I felt very heard! Definitely an amazing place to live and call home!

Our Life Changed Tremendously
I will try and make this short and sweet. After transitioning from Houston to Dallas and having a below average experience at the last apartments, we were sure our next rental experience will be one that will respect out business and appreciate the relationship that comes with it. The Cortland at Las Colinas not only met our expectations but exceeded them. They simply wowed us with their personable personality. Every time we counted this place out, not for unfavorable reasons, because we had trust issues Johnny would send a random text checking on us and he did this for 5 months until our lease was up. He actually invited us to come out and witness the community events first hand in which we did 3 times and was blown away. Johnny and the team never left our side through the entire process. Needless to say, this is the best place ever and we will be here until we decide to buy. We have been moved in for a little over 3 weeks and we still are getting check in text from Johnny. I will recommend this team, this experience and this beautiful sanctuary of peace to everyone I know that are looking. Life changing experience, Corry & JP

Most caring apartment I’ve lived in!
I’ve love living here because the staff really takes care of you-the maintenance guys complete my requests the day I submit it while at old apartments it would take weeks-the house cleaning lady and carpet cleaning guy clean the property every day and always smile and say hi when I pass- the office team is accessible by call, text or email and will help me anytime I have a question, need to get my package, forget my key, they’ll stop what they are doing and help me. I come down to the office and just talk to them and they are very kind and friendly! I have friends here who even got married and the team sent them a gift! Any time there is an issue or problem (which happens everywhere) they are always very communicative with all the residents and are very quick to send updates and check in, during the winter storm they called me to check in and even provided food and the office team sat in the cold office to hang out and it was nice to be taken care of! I know I can always go to them with anything and every single member of the team has always been kind! It’s a fun area because you are by the lake, Toyota music factory, trails, stores, etc. and I’ve made friends living here because they have resident get togethers! If you want to live in a place where they know you by name, genuinely ask how you are doing and will take care of you, then Cortland Las Colinas is the place to go!

This is by far the best complex and management company. They exceed expectations on every level.i have zero complaints. The staff makes this place even more amazing! The actual complex is like living in a nice hotel in Vegas. Highly recomend.

The Cortland at Las Colinas is perfect for someone looking for a luxury apartment that is not downtown; however, very accessible to many places. The Grapevine mall is about 12 min away, the Toyota Music Factory is walking distance, downtown Dallas is less than 30 min away, Target, Walmart, and several restaurants and fast-food chains are all within 10 min and accessible via hwy or scenic route. The staff here are great, they are polite and always look for a way to help and solve an issue if one arises. As a resident, you will always have access to the person who helped you move in via phone/email I feel that is a personable touch because it makes the process of moving in to a new area less stressful. The pool is nice and the area is always clean and well-kept. Every apartment community has it's cons but the Cortland at Las Colinas is always transparent with notifying residents and taking accountability when they are at fault. I also appreciate the maintenance team who reaches out and checks on you to make sure your problem has been addressed, they do not just mark a job as complete without thoroughly investigating and making sure you are satisfied. I would definitely recommend this Cortland facility to anyone looking to move to the area.

We're not happy at this place as we feel unsafe and threatened by the sketchy people roaming around the garage that are stealing cars and by the neighbor's sketchy guests that smoke weed and come in and out at all hours of the day. We presented this problem to the management team and their only resolution for us was that we have to move to a different apartment since they said they cannot do anything about it. The apartment complex doesn't have security cameras on the garage or on the hallways, which gives way for this type of things to happen.

We also have 4k cameras throughout the parking garage as well as a license plate camera that captures every license plate. We also have a towing policy and work with a vendor who will remove illegally parked or inoperable vehicles. We have not had any reports of a stolen car recently.
