The cleanliness of the landscape in general is great, the building however could use a bit more work. Our building specifically has a lot of stains and trash around the stairs and outside or apartment doors. That is the only improvement I would suggest.
Excellent staff and wonderful location! Highly recommend anyone moving in to this apartment community. This apartment staffs are super responsive and caring.
It’s been fours years since I moved to Cortland on Cherry Ceeek and it has been a great experience as far as the people who work in the leasing office and the maintenance guys. They all do their best to get things done.
This is one of my favorite apartments I’ve lived in! Everything is updated and there’s tons of natural light. The grounds and parking lot are well kept. Maintenance is super personable and quick to respond. The staff in the front office are very friendly and get to know their residence. The amenities are a nice bonus and always clean and well kept.
Maintenance men are great. The trail is awesome. Neighbors are okay. Sometimes it’s noisy here. Parking could be improved. Overall it could be better but also could be wayyyy worse.
La comunidad es muy bonita. Casi siempre está limpia. Comprendo que el desorden no es por las personas de mantenimiento sino por algunos inquilinos que no colocan la basura dónde corresponde y las personas que tienen mascotas que no recogen los desechos de las mismas. En el área de administración el personal debería ser más amable. Entre otras cosas.
I used to love living here but my packages get stolen regularly and mailboxes are frequently broken into, and management doesn't seem to be doing anything about it.

’m extremely disappointed by the way the leasing office choose to handle car and other thefts here, which have been extremely prevalent. My car was broken into twice, and when it tried to post something to the community board to warn other residents, the leasing office removed the two posts. Surely in attempt to cover up the amount of theft happening here to not ward off current and potential residents. The parcel lockers have been broken into and remain unfixed for months. Packages are frequently stolen. The dynamic has considerably changed here over the year I’ve lived here. The new security lights on buildings shine directly into your windows at night, and not anywhere near where cars are being stolen. The new laminate floors cause major noise issues between units.
It started off great. I loved living here but in the last 6 months since the re-signing of the lease, this place has gone downhill with management. I'm so disappointed in the way things are being done.
Cockroaches, people don't pick up after their pets and the apartment complex is messy
Be on top of your renewal or the management will price gouge you on next renewal with only a few days to decide or be charge month to month
My car was stolen and countless others have had their cars broken into/vandalized. Cortland is aware if this and has made no steps to increase security whatsoever.

Ive lived in 3 Cortland properties in 3 different statesCortland on Cherry Creek has been the WORST of the 3! Upkeep is lacking, dont waste your time calling the front office because theyre not going to answer not sure why theyre even there honestly. Maintenance is great but they seem to be the only staff that actually gets things done when called.
I am happy overall, but have had to deal with some noise interruptions from time to time. It is not very bad, but it has happened a few times. Also, I continue to smell cigarette smoke through the ventilation system.

I used to love this complex but now theyre over charging, the appearance of the grounds have gone down and the new office and maintenance staff slack drastically.
The ratio of their upkeep effort to the amount of rent I pay is hideous.

I feel very safe living at Cortland on Cherry Creek. My neighbors are nice and quiet. They need to improve on keeping this a No Smoking complex.
While expensive, Cortland on Cherry Creek provides a great location with gorgeous landscaping and friendly & professional staff that remain attentive to resident requests on an ongoing basis. The community is very pet-friendly with the Cherry Creek Reservoir walking path running along the backside of the property for easy access. Amenities center around a large pool area with plenty of room to enjoy the 300 days of sun we have here in Colorado.
I have lived here for over 4 years and this place has really gone downhill.
While expensive, Cortland offers a great location centered between Cherry Creek, Downtown Denver, and the ever- growing Centennial tech-center. The Community benefits from a recently renovated pool area with ample room for R&R pool-side. The community is also located close to the beautiful Cherry Creek trail.
They wanted to raise our rent by 22% during the pandemic last June/July. After mentioning that I would be reaching out to the local media, they came back with only a 5-8% increase. The parking lot has needed a good sweeping and painting for the past year and a half. The pool time on the west side of the complex has needed work for the past 3 summers. I have been walking around this pile of bird droppings the past 3 summers. This year it has been the worst. Maintenance had to come 3 times to replace our living room smoke detector. I asked to be contacted by a supervisor after my last complaint and never received a call. Just say no and find a better place. There are plenty of communities around the area to choose from.
This apartment management team and maintenance have been sub-par at best. Singing needs to change immediately!
The management does not care about their residents. My health, well being, and personal happiness and comfort has been negatively impacted by living here. My AC broke 8 weeks ago and the management keeps closing my work orders even though the issue is not resolved and will not communicate with me on the issue. No one answers the phone in the office or responds to voicemails or emails. They say they are pet friendly but my pets are suffering from heat exhaustion in a 90 degree apartment. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone.
Whenever I have visitors to Cortland on Cherry Creek, I always hear about how immaculate and clean the grounds and buildings are here. I have lived in this apartment complex for 14 years and I have always had good relationship with the leasing office and maintenance crew. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for an apartment complex with well trained staff and a friendly community to Cortland on Cherry Creek!
Do not be fooled by the Cherry Creek in this apartment complexs name. The surrounding area definitely does not line up with the classy/modern interiors/exteriors of what the real Cherry Creek area is like. I signed a lease to this apartment before ever visiting it in person and was sorely disappointed. Staff is friendly and they try to be helpful but very rarely have any issues been fully resolved. Unless its something simple like a lightbulb going out or an appliance that needs replacement, everything is drawn out in a broken chain of communication that normally ends in mutual frustration (and my mutual frustration I mean that I just give up and learn to live with the smell of cigarette smoke in my bedroom). The community itself is split up into two parts: the apartments by the leasing office and the apartments across the street. The apartments by the leasing office seem to be much more taken care of, since that is where potential renters go to first in their apartment search endeavors. I live on the other more neglected side. I remember asking the tour guide when we saw the property for the first time about all of the embarrassingly almost comically large potholes in the parking lot and was told that the entire parking lot was going to be re-paved within the year. Ive lived here for two years and theyve only gotten worse. As convenient as this location is, no amount of close-by shopping can make up for the fact that I dont feel safe taking my son on a walk even around the parking lot. We also had a vehicle stolen from the premises that was never recovered. I say if youre a working college grad thats just starting out this apartment complex is for you. But if youre looking for a well-priced apartment in a safe area for you and your family, keep looking.
For the first time since moving to CO I feel like we live in a warm friendly community. The staff carrying and always willing to help. The location is near lots of things to do and easy to get to where I need to go. Thank you for making me feel at home.
People's dog waste is consistently all over the place, especially in front of building 5. No one picks up after their pets and it will sit there for days before it is cleaned up by maintenance. Smoke free community yet people smoke in the parking lot and their garages. They have a community board on line and when you try to post something to let the community know about issues or concerns, they delete or don't approve your post when there is nothing detrimental or disrespectful towards them, or has anything to do with the complex or staff themselves, you are just communicating with your neighbors. I brought this up once after they took my post down about seeing someone trying to break into cars and said they will communicate this themselve which they never did. Yet other people comment all the time about missing amazon packages and someone has had their catalytic converter stolen off of their car twice. Again, not the fault of the complex but why can't I not similar content when others can? The garbage dumpsters are overflowing everyday and the pool and hot tub is supposed to be closed by 9 or 10 yet people are still out there way past this time.

Dont live here, maintence team is slow on snow removal and fails to fix fire place. Noise complaint are not taken seriously. Security is terrible lord if car theft and catalytic coverts stolen. Too high priced for lack luster community, that doesnt take resident security concerns seriously.
So many squirrels. Cute and fun till your dog sees them. Theyre removing carpeting and its becoming LOUD. Constant push back with any problems from the leasing team. Rent is over priced and it looks fancy from a far but shortly after moving in you know youve been duped. Longest 15mo lease ever..

Fairly safe community, renovated apartments with new appliances, responsive and helpful staff for both maintenance and office. Walking distance to Cherry Creek trail
We moved into Cortland on Cherry Creek at the beginning of January. Our living experience has been great thus far! We love our new home. Maintenance has been super quick to address any needs that we have had, our neighbors have been friendly, and we love being so close to the Cherry Creek Trail.
I will never recommend anybody live at the Covington. Never in my life have I received such a distasteful and rude resident experience as this one. Coming from someone who has lived in 8-10 different apartment complexes across 3 different states over the past decade, this is not how a company succeeds.
Great amenities at good price point but grounds are really dirty.
Every time there has been an instance that requires attention from management or maintenance, they have made me feel like a valued member of the community. :)
It' s a great community to live in. Leasing office personnel is friendly and professional. The community is quiet and clean.
The Covington is a well-maintained and safe property. It might be in the middle of a huge city, but it does not feel like that once you are amongst the tall pines. It is quiet and peaceful.
I have loved living at The Covington on Cherry Creek by Cortland thus far. Friendly staff, beautiful apartments, community is kept clean, and any service requests are answered in a timely manner.
The Covington Cherry Creek are wonderful apartments. The office and maintenance staff are both responsive and kind. All concerns are taken with professionalism and flexibility. Move in!

I moved in about 10 months ago this coming November (2020). I moved with my spouse and our car and a cat. We have a 2bd 2ba apt, and it is our favorite rental place we have lived. There are the usual community issues, garage break ins, landscaping issues, dog mess, and the 'Dog Park' is a fenced in mud pit. While I dont have a dog, the break ins were concerning. The mailboxes have been entirely replaced post break-in and seem much sturdier now. The work out facilities are nice and there are regular visits from good food trucks. There are community classes and events. There are plumbed gas grills and I love not having to mess with refills, but it is a community and sometimes you have to wait your turn.
