My wife and I lived at Prairie Creek before moving to Florida several years ago. When I retired and we moved back to Texas to be near family, we made it a priority to return to Prairie Creek. We have been totally satisfied with the new management team and the upgraded facilities. I especially like the proximity to major transportation hubs, bike and nature trails, and workout facilities. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, convenient, and friendly community.

This community feels like home!! The Office Management Team is exceptional---the office staff is friendly and available to help....the maintenance team is the best of the best. The community is clean...landscaping is beautiful....dog park is nice....gym is great.....the pool areas are clean and really nice to enjoy on summer days or even evenings to relax. I feel at home here!!! If you are looking for a great place you should come by and tour this one!!!

Cortland Prairie Creek is a great community to live in. I feel safe and this is very important. The grounds, pools, gym and overall surrounding area within are kept up clean and beautiful. The office team are friendly and available to help solve any issues that may come up. The maintenance team by far is best maintenance team I have ever had. They take care of any problems that arise in a timely manner and explain everything to you in detail. I love my home here and will be here for years to come. Wish I could give them a 11 on a scale of 1 to 10....

Not What You Think
I've lived here for two years and here are the highlights of what you should expect: 1. Leasing agents may pitch the units are modern however do not be fooled. The complex itself was built in 1995, but the units were recently "renovated" (countertops, paint, appliances) 2. Every neighbor I know has come to the same concluson: poor insulation. My winter bills each year have been consistently 300$ or more for a one bedroom apartment (I pay 11c/kwh and sometimes get close to 1750kwh a month). This is while keeping my unit at 65-68 during the day and 62-65 during night. The bottom of the stairs, if you have an attached garage, have zero insulation and suck hot/cold air if not blocked using curtains. 3. The complex itself is very quiet - at most you will hear street racers on george bush / 635 every so often. The deposits are also low - 585$ security deposit for any unit and I believe now a 400$ non-refundable pet fee for each animal. In conclusion - there are more modern units at around the same price that Cortland offers in this complex. Expect to pay more than you would expect on utilities.

While I do not have other apartment complexes to compare this to - as I was a homeowner until 4 years ago - I am very impressed with the cleanliness and quietness of this community. It is a community and not just an apartment complex

I have really enjoyed my first few months here. The location is perfect for my needs as a student, though I guess it's a little far from grocery stores that aren't Tom Thumb or Whole Foods. The apartments themselves are nice, it definitely feels like you get what you pay for. The office team is great, they were really helpful with moving in and getting settled and I've had no problem with them so far. I've hardly used them but there is a gym, pool, some playgrounds, and a beautiful walking trail that all seem to be well maintained. Overall, very happy with CPC.

I have lived here for five years and have enjoyed many aspects of the community. The grounds are kept immaculate. The management returns calls promptly, and most importantly, the maintenance staff is courteous and reliable and goes above, and beyond to make sure their residence are taken care of with all the needs and concerns. I have lived in mini apartment complexes across the DFW area and this by far is the best.

Moved here in 2022 from out of town, recommended by a resident here. After doing searches for apartments, this was the greatest thing for me. Gated, secure, attached garage, and QUIET even with families and pets living in the community. I downsized from nice house, pets and family, so I know the difference. Bravo!

I love the closeness of this property to my place of employment. I felt cared for as a resident by Jeff and now that he is gone, there is no one to reach out to. The office staff is rude, aloof and couldn’t care one iota about residents. It makes me sad. And the fact that I pay a mortgage for a 1/1 with peeling paint, chipped grout, vinyl floors that are stained, thin walls and noisy neighbors. I cannot wait to leave. I do love my garage.

Such an amazing place to live!
Me and my husband have been living at this property for over 2 years now and I just have to say this is our forever home we do not plan on moving. The girls in the office are amazing and treat you as part of the family and not just a resident and the maintenance team is A++ they are always on top of things and are fast to complete what needs to be fixed or addressed. If your looking for a home where your not just a resident but family this property is for you. Another thing you will love is the updated units and the clean property upkeep and quiet neighbors!!

Amazing place to live! Outstanding maintenance, Jeff is great, neighbors are quite, grounds are always maintained, pool has been open most of the summer (closed for a few days for repairs) however the other pool was open ( there are two pools) .. great place!!
