It’s a great community to live. It’s fun, it’s safe, and the management and staff are wonderful. Always in great moods, very friendly and professional. There are even community events as well. Excellent choice we made.

I recently just moved into this beautiful community with my roommate, and we have been blown away by the customer service and welcoming demeanor the office team demonstrates. We moved in the week of them celebrating residents' appreciation week and every day we were showered by them, from breakfast on the go to free pizza slices. But what stood out the most was the fun pool party they put together for the residence's this past Saturday! They served us amazing food, drinks and played some fun games in the sun. It was extremely hot out there but every time I looked their way they were smiling and engaging with every resident. I am so happy we decided to move into Cortland Uptown Altamonte because within a week I truly feel appreciated by the team here. I am absolutely loving my new home!

Location is great with seasonal events in the surrounding area. New amenities are nice and having covered parking is a plus.

The staff members at Cortland Uptown are phenomenal and the events will keep you engaged. I just attended our Community Farmers Market and was able to meet and support local residents. Thank you for all you do!

We moved in before the construction began. It was a great location, a nice view, things to walk to, decent amenities, and even though it was an older style, it was our overall favorite. For about the last year, the building has been doing all sorts of construction projects: every hallway, amenity, unit etc. Maybe in a few years it will be a nice place to live, but if you move in for the foreseeable future, get used to beeping, banging, dirt, closed amenities, and construction workers 9 hours a day, 6 days a week. They also have a huge turnover of office staff. They seem to be different every 6 months. They've all been nice, but I don't think that's a good sign... Would not recommend. Move into a newer building.

We weren’t able to tour the gym and clubhouse due to the construction but the photos on the website kendre showed us were outstanding With apartments being built all in the aaltamonte area we could go anywhere but kendre sold us with his personality and customer service

I recently toured at Cortland uptown Altamonte and was pleasantly surprised with the level of customer service and the cleanliness of the property. The overall experience was great and I’m debating on buying a house or renting but if I rent this will be in my top 2.

This team is phenomenal! I’ve only been here a couple of months, yet I’ve already stated many times that I’m ready to renew my lease. I especially love how I can walk to just about anything I need or want; it gives the vibes of its own little city with amenities such as the mall, shopping, groceries, and restaurants in walking distance. Despite the construction in the area and within the building as renovations are in progress, I still find comfort in my home. My only complaint is the construction that took place during the week just before Christmas which limited access points to the complex. I struggled many times with lost packages, inability to get in and out of my apartment freely, we had to remove decorations at our door to allow for renovations to take place, and it presented a big hassle. I wish this were saved until after the holiday season when people weren’t traveling and/or hosting visitors as often. Other than that hiccup, everything else has been fantastic!

We been living here at Cortland and we love it. We are in a great area, and very convenient. They always have stuff going on for the residents. The staff have been very nice and always helpful. We definitely recommend.

1. Security is an issue, getting in and out the entrance is big problem. 2. Resident ignored management team message, like dog waste and weed smoking 3. Elevators always rent to moving company or always not working

I’ve lived here twice, the second time I didn’t even look at another apartment complex just this one because it stands so far and above previous experiences. People are friendly, amenities are beautiful and people feel safe. They are such a lovely mix of young people, families, and seniors.

Looking for a new place and stumbled upon this beauty in Altamonte. I walked in and Andrea was able to accommodate me and my husband and we toured a renovated 2 bedroom. The clubhouse on the 7th floor is beautiful i hope to soon call this my new home

It’s a beautiful area with posh apartments. I love that the mall, theater and grocery is in walking distance. The staff has also been so helpful and communicative, I feel welcomed.

Recently moved out of this property due to a multitude of issues. It is not maintained, hallways and common areas are frequently dirty, amenities such as the pool, gym, and clubhouse were frequently down and unavailable. Neighborhood and apartments are noisy at all hours, management does not enforce quiet hours. Security is a joke, the courtesy officer never responds, most of the time you're reliant on calling police non-emergency if you want anything done. Security tap points don't work, people can enter as they please, there was a homeless person living in the clubhouse from Nov '22 to Jan '23. Cameras don't work so there is no accountability for resident breaking the rules or doing things such as dealing drugs out of the 5th floor. Mamagement does not follow up with you, they frequently "forget" anything verbally agreed upon and even if it's in writing they do the same. Austin at the front desk is straight up rude and a liar. We were told there was no need for a walk through prior to moving out and that we would recieve an email not any damages assessed and time to dispute. We never recieved such an email and instead were just sent our deposit $100 short with no communication or explanation. There are countless other properties in the area for less that you would be better off at. I regret ever renting from this place.

I have lived on this property for just about 9 years and you can't beat the location, you can walk for everything you need, I feel special living here and I have made this my home obviously for me to have stayed this long. I was very concerned about the change of ownership and what that would mean to me and this management team has turned out to be very special, great, caring, compassionate people and that's the kind of people you want in charge of your home! Much love and thanks to our management team for helping make this a wonderful experience!

Jean, Raphael, William, Hilbert, Denise, Austin, and especially Portia treat the residents like family and manage the safety and welfare of this residence with much care and concern as if it were their very own. I would have given seven stars (one for each stellar staff member) if possible. Kudos!!!

Cortland Uptown is an excellent place to live. The staff are professional and very friendly. There's a host of exciting amenities and activities not only within but surrounding this community. Plus, it's located where convenience would never be a problem.

Austin and his team are excellent. They have great customer service and the property is absolutely beautiful

I love living in this area, The movie theater, Mall, shopping center and whole foods are in walking distance. The apartments are very well maintained. And no roaches, for this area that's a huge plus. Overall I have had a great experience it's a little pricey but it's probably worth it.

It is that stressful time of the year where I have to start looking for a place to move to. Moving has always been a stressful process but coming to Cortland and having Justin help me and guide me through the process has been a breath of fresh air. I am looking forward to making this place my permanent residence. The community was very clean and taken care of and it made me feel at peace. Nice loft area as well. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment and more specifically ask for Justin! Amazing amazing amazing experience.

I stopped by the community for a walk in tour and Justin was very helpful and informative. The staff was friendly and the community was very well maintained.

I stopped by cortland uptown to view there 2 bedrooms 2 bath floor plans and I was very impressed by the energy from the staff the moment I entered the building. The maintenance personnel all greeted me and the associate which assisted me stood up immediately to greet me. Justin showed me the community and answered all my questions. He even went as far as reviewing some near by cortland communities and some of there features. Amazing hospitality. The community was very clean and the homes were very spacious. Amazing experience.

Justin, the Leasing Agent was very informative and professional. He went above and beyond. I never experienced a tour like I did with him. Thank you for answering all my questions. Cortland Uptown is a beautiful property and I can see myself living here.

Manager is awful and never seems to care. How fast can he get out of the slums? Place is filthy and crime continues to happen from break ins to apartment and cars. Hallways, elevators are disgusting.

Says it all. Older build and worn looking. Manager shows very little interest in upkeep of the building as well as neighborhood issues such as speeding cars, all night long, & every night. His typical response is ‘it’s not my problem’ There is better out there. Newer buildings at same rental range.

They call themselves a luxury apartment, however when you first move in things are great then you start to see the real deal. Hallways inside have carpet in which they use to keep spotless and the hallways were clean and always smelled great. Not anymore. Several issues with 1 garbage compactor so you get gnats in hallways and your apartment! Parking is ridiculous as they had cars in the garage that didn’t belong here. Put an orange sticker on it and it sits there. Nothing is ever done with it or enforced. New Property Mgr is less than to be desired. To your face most of the time he is pleasant, other times he is confrontational and will talk over you. Will not let you ask questions or concerns without him cutting you off. So called security is a joke. They have a Courtesy Officer that is onsite but they are not defined as Security Officers. What’s the point? Supposed to be secured building but once your in the garage, you can get into the building. That’s not a secured building to me. Will not accept any packages you receive like they used to advertise on their amenities or services. It’s now outsourced to a company “Fetch” which has the worse reviews! Save yourself the time and effort and look somewhere else. Because after you sign on the dotted line, all the rules will change and the Community Manager will tell you they have the right to change the terms of the lease at anytime.

This is the worst place to live. Loud all the time. Dirty hallways, small pool, small gym and very outdated apartments. If your looking for a college dorm atmosphere this is the place for you!

Very loud. Able to hear neighbors through walls. They recently put laminate flooring on top of cement with no pad. Anytime someone moves in apartment you can hear it.

I love living on the courtyard side of the property because it is quiet and peaceful. It is great to be able to walk out your door to Cranes Roost Park and many restaurants and shopping. However, in the Courtyard the furniture in the lobby it stained and outdated. The patio furniture is old and worn. The landscaping could be updated. They installed Christmas lights in the pool area, but not the courtyard. The Christmas lights on the outside of the courtyard building are not working and they don't bother to fix them. The rent on the courtyard side of the building is NOT any less than the pool area, but it should be discounted.

i moved here in may and was so taken by its look and its service to renters mon-fri contenital breakfast! wow! a movie theater a clubhouse that should be the penthouse! and a gym for working out! also5 min from mall and surrounding restaurants! staff is very friendly any i would love to stay here!

I rated this complex a four out of five because there are only minor issues with the residence. The front office is by far the most flexible and courteous that I have encountered. Maintenance handles all of your issues quickly. The upstairs lounge area which all renters have access to has multiple TV's, a small library, pool tables, and free Barnie's Coffee and free breakfast Monday through Friday. The adjacent home movie theater can be reserved for a group to watch your favorite DVD or BlueRay. Another plus is the covered parking garage and 24/7 security. The building itself is made of concrete which limits noise from our neighbors and reduces a lot of the problems with wood structures in a damp Florida climate. As for the location, it could not be better with easy access to I-4, restaurants, the Altamonte Mall, and two grocery stores. Crane's Roost is directly behind the building providing great free entertainment, a place to run, or to walk your dog. The only negatives are that in some spots you can see where construction was rushed which should not occur in a luxury apartment complex. The building was constructed in 2006 and is starting to show its age in small places. Overall though, it is a great place to live and I highly recommend it.

This apartment is definitely the best value in the area. Many of the so called "luxury" apartments in this area were shocking in person. This apartment is very nice. There are nicer ones in Orlando but definitely not for this price. I have a very spacious apartment with huge walk-in closest and huge bathrooms and pay anywhere from $600-900 less than those smaller places. Almost everyone who has every worked here is friendly and helpful. They give you an a/c filter any time you ask and will change it for you if you want. They've even put a refrigerated delivery in my fridge for me once when I unexpectedly was out of town. Appliances are nice but I prefer stainless. Parking is okay although I definitely prefer assigned. There are many people who either do not work or work from home and they always get the best spots. However, I never really have to park more than 5-6 spots from the door. The guest parking isn't restricted at all which is mostly a bad thing. It's basically just overflow parking for residents who don't want to pay an extra $10 a month for extra decal for the garage. So if you have guests they have to find a spot on the street or in Marshall's lot.

The Lofts is a great place to move to if you need ease of access to places like the mall, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Everything is pretty close by and it is one of the greatest advantages of moving here. The rooms are of a good size, however rent is fairly high. Expect to pay the price of living right next to Marshalls, the mall and a movie theatre! They do however provide you with an amazing maintenance service and the management is ever so helpful! They have free breakfast M-F and always have coffee ready. The building itself is gorgeous and fully equipped with a gym, a lounge, a pool, a mini theatre and a courtyard. It is well worth the money if you were to use all the amenities. What we appreciate the most about this place is how pet friendly it is. Our dogs feel right at home and they are very included in the community. The lofts provide free poopy bags all around its premises. The only downside to moving here is that it's still a developing area, therefore there is a lot of construction going on. You will often hear machines and workers but we got used to it after a while. PROS: - Location - Friendly and Helpful management - Beautiful apartments - Pet Friendly CONS: - The noisy construction around. - Pricy rent Overall, it is truly a great place to move to. The pros outweigh the cons!
