enjoy the area very quiet and clean. so far so good everything in walking distance. looking forward to meet some folk around the neighborhood

This community is very nice, they keep the grass cut, always on time when you call for a repair, good neighbors and ALL the office staff are great welcoming and have a excellent attitude. I have no complaints

It's great I enjoy been here my home the staff is great also it's quite and I really feel safe it's a blessing to one of the members out here

So far it has been great! I enjoy living here, the neighborhood is in a decent area and it’s generally pretty quiet for the most part. We will definitely be staying at the very minimum 1 more year!

I admire the decorations on different apartment doors; it makes the area look like the ones in Vanstory Hills and other neighborhoods. Even just a simple small decoration does something for the whole area. (I like the pumpkin decoration on one apartment door close by).

Love my apt.Convenient location, friendly staff and maintenance team are great.Maintenance quick to respond , office staff friendly and caring.

I am single woman who has been living at the cottages on elm for over 3 .5 years. I told the office staff that I left my keys in the door over night and that one of my house keys were removed from the Keychain. Her response was it would be $50 and as soon as you bring it we will change it. She didn't even care about whether I had the money right then or that someone had access to where I live. I was also told that if i pay a monthly payment that I could get a washer and dryer. Weeks after no response, I called back, the staff member said that they only supply them to certain units. I don't usually complain but I need to know that safety is number 1 priority for the tenants.

Both office and maintenance staff are super friendly and helpful. Would have been the best first apartment experience for sure.

Amazing front desk and maintenance staff they are all very friendly, the apartment dishwasher was leaking but after we told maintenance about it they came about 15-20 minutes later they came by and fixed it

The units are very cute and clean. The office staff are great to work with when it comes to problems in the unit ! The online portal makes it very easy to contact them for repairs and managing the rent.

A lot has changed and not for the best Maintenance is still decent but the apartment complex isn't sad to say. I used to enjoy living here past 6 months not so much tbh

Apartment is affordable and the staff are pleasant. However, the apartment was not clean at all when I moved in and I have yet to have a walkthrough. Overall, the apartment complex is affordable and I am making it a home. There are many stray cats, but other than that the area is not bad.

this is a nice pace with a great walking around and lots of shops and other things to do nearby like the flea market and the hobby shop with a 5 min walk to the closest bus stop

The process was so quick and easy and Krystyna Crisp was so sweet and patient with the entire move in. My boyfriend and I are so happy here, this is our first place together it was an amazing choice. The neighborhood is quiet and nice and the place is so cute and cozy just what we needed. 100/10

The whole process was great , the property manager Krystyna was awesome ! Would recommend her to anybody !! The apartment is perfect and she gave me a full thorough walk through and told me everything I needed to know before moving in .

Multiple issues with quality of maintenance performed prior to move in; however, the issues were resolved very quickly. Front office personnel are extremely attentive and courteous with pleasant personalities and demeanors. Community is quiet. Each duplex is spread out, so residents are not living on top of each other. The property is many decades old and shows multiple signs of aging. New carpet and painted walls only go so far. Rent is fair, and likely lower than market average for comparable properties.

Hey we just renewed & we are GRRRREAT, Great deal, Great incentives, Great area, Great Neighbors, (well parking could be a little better) but i'm not gonna complain, cause the Great outweighs everything

Great office staff and maintence crew.Safe, convenient location!!Community happenings for residents with pizza donughts,cakes and candy.No loud noise or loafers allowed, no speeding thru residential area .Area patroled to enforce rules.

This is my Husband's and I first time renting and we have had an amazing experience. The staff/management and maintenance are super sweet and professional and they do things/events every couple months. They've done free donuts and juice / pizza etc. Maintenance are on top of things and will fix whatever you need fixed that day. The yard is kept clean and they have people come and do yard work. The apartments are cute and spacious

This is the quietest place I've ever lived. I can walk my dog in the evening and feel safe. The staff is nice and do anything they can to accommodate you. Maintenance request are addressed the next day. I've been here 5 years, it's close to work and shopping. Highly recommend.

I am enjoying my experience, I love the location because of its centrality and its easily accessibility to businesses, facilities and institutions. Most importantly, the diversity of residents such as Military, Law Enforcement, Healthcare Professionals and so on. The community is well kept with mostly well manicured lawns.

Awesome community, as well as staff. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to settle in and start fresh! So thankful for the staffs patience and willingness to help whenever it’s needed!!

It's quite here. My neighbors are pretty nice and I'm literally within walking distance to everything I need ????. There is groceries, eateries, night life, the Mall and FTCC.

I have been living here now going on 7 months, and after raising 2 kids and going through 18 years of marriage. This was my first experience being alone. So I was nervous. Now this is my most favorite place to be in the whole world. I absolutely love getting off of work and coming straight home to my quiet home of peace. Not only that my property manager is the best in the world she is so Personable, and cares about u. My birthday dog died and she cared so much about it. And that ment alot. Also when my birthday came and I was deap I'm my depressed state she came and checked on me and u just don't know how much that ment. She saved my life that night. I'm never leaving this community. God has truly blessed me here and brought me to the right place to heal my heart. Thank you cottages on elm. Lee Johnson

Its been nothing but great living here. They sent me a birthday card on my special day, what a surprise. I am addressed by my name when i enter the office, that's always a plus for me especially when they have several tenants. To know that they know me. Clean neighborhood good neighbors. Office staff very friendly and welcoming. I love it here. I don't know the maintenance men by name but they are amazing friendly men.

Although the community is a bit dated, the staff continues to do their best to make this a pleasing place to live. Melissa and her team in the office are so nice, and responsive. I consistently see the maintenance staff around the property working on a variety of things. The events the office has started holding have really give me a sense of community and that they want us to like living here, not just us giving them monthly rent checks.

The convenience of the location and the pricing is great. Glad they was able to take a chance with me and helped me get my own place. I couldn't be any more grateful. Plus it's quiet and not much goes on over here.

The experience has been great thus far I have no complaints. The community for the most part is very quiet and Serene no issues with any neighbors or things of that sort. I love that we have plenty of cats running around because I am a cat lover they are really hilarious when you sit and watch them

It would be nice if parking was a little better than it is, and my mailbox was just a little closer, other then that, this place Cottage of Elm is a great place to live, i'm greeted and treated with much respect, no complaints here. Thank you Blessings

Good people, safe neighborhood. Timely move in and response to maintenance request. These buildings are old and definitely not perfect. Can't argue with the price for square footage. Fairly quiet and extremely convenient in location to groceries, Fort Liberty, FTCC and downtown Skibo area. Maintenance crew is much needed and they do a great job. Overall I'm happy here.

Very calm and secure place to stay. The environment and the surroundings too is very neat and nicely designed. The lighting system is all good.

The neighbors near us were all very welcoming and so was the office ! everyone is very nice and understanding and it’s a wonderful community.

Quiet community Concerned Management about their renters Grounds are keep well An excellent community for short or long term living Really no amenities to speak of, but there is a park near by with walking trails, fishing platform and a venue for activities

I have lived here in the cottages for about 2.5 years. It's peaceful and quiet. The staff is awesome. I would recommend anyone looking for a place to reside to consider this location.

Love the new staff and the maintenance team is great. Been here going on 4 years I like it but the size just isn’t good for the price. Other than that I’ve had a great experience here in my 4 years

Staying at cottages on elm is a nice experience, nice neighborhood, neighbors keep to themselves, quiet most of the times. Changes happens every year in prices.

Been renting here for 3 years since 2020 Love renting here, staff is great . There needs to be anterior updates & upgrades with the increasing rent cost. Great community . 3 stars for sure .

Quiet, safe and clean community environment. Neighbors are so friendly! Easy access to dumpsters to rid of waste from home. No need to worry about lawn maintenance, it’s taken care of!

My experience here has been great it’s a great community. It’s a great place to have my dog he loves it and he loves being about to lay out in the back yard everyday.

Hasn’t been bad! There have been a few bumps in the road but overall cant complain!! Maintenance is always there when needed!! Front office staff is always nice and helpful! They are always willing to work things out and explain everything!

My overall experience has been amazing. The community is very quiet and everyone I’ve come into contact with has been kind and respectful. I love how there’s various community events you can become apart of especially during the holidays. The leasing staff as well as maintenance is very helpful whenever needed.
