Live here only if you can't find somewhere else to live in. This place is not secure, the neighborhood is filled with homeless and probably drug Sellers and this community doesn't take interest in protecting it's resident, they may have a guard circling around once in a full moon but they have the front gates open at all times.... Also you better not own a car here, not only there's is uncomfortable parking, where you have to park door to door with the next car, they have more reserved parking spaces than free parking, it's ridiculous as if you don't pay them enough, and don't dare park in spaces without paying before hand, they will tow your car diligently, instead of investigating their efforts in our security. I hope anyone looking to move in to this apartment complex read this and make a wiser choice

My roommate and I were going to move into the complex this month. We filled out our applications, gave proof of income, and provided our money orders for them to process us. About two weeks go by and we haven't heard from the office, so I can and inquire about the status. Turns out, the staff accidentally shredded our applications and didn't tell us. The Leasing Agent apologized and was very nice. She was the only reason this complex didn't receive one star. We decided not to move into the complex if they were going to be careless with something as important as an application. When I called and spoke with another agent, I was told I could come by and pick the money orders up since we are no longer applying. When I arrived at the office two days late, the manager told me they were "sent off for processing". Processing of what? We didn't have an application on file. So the manager knew we didn't want to live there anymore and purposely processed our money. Oh but don't worry, we'll get it back within 4-6 weeks after they can get it approved by their corporate team. I am so thankful this happened with this complex. The manager in charge has a horrible attitude and looks down on you. I drove around the complex and saw that the grounds were poorly kept up. It is located in a VERY sketchy area. I am a young female, and would NOT walk around there at night alone.

I have never had so many problems with management at an apartment complex in my life. I have lived here for almost a year, and I have seen at least five different people working in the office since then. None of the original office staff from when I initially moved in are working there anymore, which says a lot. I was waiting for about 20 minutes to pick up a package when I spoke to another resident. She said that ever since the complex was sold, it has gone completely downhill. Most abhorrent of all is parking. The complex DOES NOT have enough parking for all residents and even recently started doing reserved parking, which makes it even more difficult to find parking. DO NOT HAVE VISITORS. They are required to have a parking permit, but staff did not inform me when I got one for my visiting family that there was specific visitor parking. Nowhere on the visitor parking pass does it say they have to park in parking specified for a visitor. The visitor parking itself is not clearly marked, the paint is fading, and there is no sign indicating where it is. My visiting family had their rental car towed TWICE in the span of 3 days. The first time being because staff failed to inform me of visitor parking, and the second time for no reason at all. They had their visitor pass visible AND they were parked in the visitor's area. The area itself is not in a good neighborhood. Certain food places will not deliver to this area at night, and servicemen for internet/cable will only come in the morning because of the dangers of the area. The police are here at least twice a week (I am not exaggerating). I have woken up in the early AM to loud drunken yelling and fights on multiple occasions. I have lived at an apartment owned by BH Management previous to moving here, and I had no problems at all. I thought that this complex would live up to the same standard, but I could not have been so wrong. I have only had unpleasant encounters with management, and I feel like NONE of my issues have been addressed. They constantly keep trying to raise the rent and they are very vague when explaining the reason for the raise in rent. To top it all off, I went to the office today to pick up a package. The sign said "Be back at 2", and I left at 2:35 because they had not returned. They show no regard or integrity when it comes to customer service. I would never renew my lease here, I would never recommend it to someone, and I doubt I would trust the BH Management name again.

**DO NOT MOVE HERE, DO NOT LIVE HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!** Horrible experience at Carlton Court in Dallas, TX. Recently, my sister and her husband visited me from out of town and we had obtained a parking permit for their rental. Never were we ever informed that they needed to park in "visitor parking" never was I ever aware nor told that we even had VISITOR parking. The parking is so horrible, you're lucky to even be able to park in the complex at all. on the parking permit from Longhorn Wrecking it says that they can park anywhere that isn't "reserved". After we had a manager show my brother and sister where they could park, 2 days later it was TOWED AGAIN, with a valid permit and IN THE VISITOR PARKING. It was the same day they were leaving and barely made their flight, all thanks to the inconvenience and horrible, corrupt business practices of this towing company and their contract with Carlton Court. We've had numerous people, whom we've had to get parking permits for and their car was never towed. Carlton Court refused to reimburse my sister and her husband and they will now take legal action, such a scam. leaving an updated review since that's the only thing the office said we can do in hopes that corporate will actually do something. furthermore, police are here almost every night. we've had numerous newsletters on our door stating that there were burglaries in the complex. Pizza places won't deliver at all after dark. horrible area, horrible place to deal with, glad we're moving next month. parking is a NIGHTMARE. cockroach infested.

1- YOU WILL NEVER FIND A PARKING SPACE AFTER 10PM THERE ARE CARS WHO PARK ON THE GRASS OR BEHIND OTHER CARS DUE TO THE LACK OF PARKING SPACES. IF YOU ASK FOR A RESERVED PARKING THEY SAY THEY NO LONGER PROVIDE THEM. AND WHEN YOU ADDRESS THIS ISSUE TO THE MANAGER SHE SAYS WELL "KEEP DRIVING UNTIL YOU FIND ONE." 2- RENT IS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THIS! THEY WILL TAKE YEARS TO FIX YOUR ISSUES! STAY AWAY PLEASE!! 3- IF YOU HAVE BED BUG ISSUE YOU HAVE TO PAY OVER 400$ TO GET IT FIXED YOURSELF 4- I LEFT MY BABY'S NEW MATRESS OUTSIDE MY DOOR FOR LESS THAN 5 MIN AND IT GOT STOLEN!! DONT SAY I DID NOT WARN YOU!

Are lease is up in December and we can't wait. We have had so many issues with this place from the floors, to bugs, to no hot water, to ac going in and out. We pay to much for this place and they lose our packages and say they leave notes but they do not. We need December to come so we can get a better place for our two sons who are younger then 2.

Carlton Court has been the best complex I have been to. The office staff is helpful and maintenance is always at your apartment each time you put in a work order. I can allow our children to play outside at the park and know they are safe.
