Property Ratings at Cottonwood Terrace
Customer service is terrible it took me 20 calls to finally get an answer back. Lady at office answered with an attitude. Took forever to let me know information I needed to know. They said they contacted me and I never received one phone call or an email. They Said they gave up on contacting me because I never answered phone calls that never happened.

We're truly sorry to hear about your experience. We aim for excellence in customer service and clearly, we fell short in meeting that standard. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. We are addressing these issues to ensure this doesn't happen again. Thank you!
Completed my move in inspection checklist and annotated everything that was dirty and disgusting upon move in April of 2021 and turned it into the leasing office and was acknowledged but nothing ever done about the dirtiness of the carpet or apartment upon move in. Due to a military PCS I moved out 8 months later. My deposit was 600 for this apartment and 300 was taken from that deposit after move out for carpet cleaning, cleaning, and paint touch up when the apartment and the carpet was already dirty and smelled like cigarettes upon move in. Management completely disregarded to compare the move in inspection checklist upon move out and carelessly charged for cleaning of the carpet and apartment when it wasn’t even cleaned upon move in. Upon move out the apartment was cleaned and left in better conditions than when I moved in. Would not recommend these apartments, management is absolutely garbage and are just looking to make a extra dollar off of their residents.

If I could give no stars & leave a review, I would. This place is Horrible. They will lie & deceive at every turn possible. Our apartment looked nothing like the pictures online or the one they show you when you take a tour. They will soak you security deposit for every penny they can. The office doesn't respond to phone calls. We had a hole in our bathroom ceiling for months. The windows in both our bedrooms leaked every time it rained. The handle on our oven broke off 2 weeks after we got there. The oven wouldn't open unless you took the handle off the drawer. The patio door didn't close properly and bugs always got in & during the winter the winds would blow in like the door was open. The shower curtain rods were practically falling off the wall. And they washer/dryer is 1 unit. It is the worst thing i have ever used. It would take 5-6 hours to do 1 load of laundry. The only hopeful bright spot was that just before we left the maintenance crew got replaced with what seems like a couple of nice guys. But, I would still say do not move here. This place stinks!!!!

My family and I lived at this apartment complex for a year. We really enjoyed living here and we only moved because my family got bigger so we needed more space. Every place has their problems but any problem I ran into here got fixed. Their staff is friendly, understanding and answers any question I had. They sat with me for as long as I need and as frequently as I needed to make sure I was satisfied and knowledgeable. The maintenance men were very professional, personable, and also very positive no matter the situation. They fixed any issues we had in a timely manner. The staff and maintenance knew my family and I well and would greet us by name, always making sure we were satisfied. 5/5
This place is a Money Pit of garbage experiences, and here's why... 1) Office Hours: nobody around and they don't answer phones 2)Shared Water Costs: Your single and your neighbor has three kids? Well, your water costs are merged and you pay for them too. also, you pay for the water the sprinklers use and the pool (even when they don't work or are not in use) 3)Forced Trash Service and Dumpster Fees: Mandatory Valet trash fee that leads to more fees. Same as water, the dumpster costs are spread to residents. That remodeling they talk about, yeah, I had to pay for the carpet, appliances, and trash they put in the dumpster 4) Pool is Awful: Was closed for a year, supposed to be redone and get a heater. 2 years there and it never happened, still missing tiles and they don't check chlorine level 5) Dog Poo EVERYWHERE: Everywhere...seriously 6) Parking Musical Chairs: 1 assigned spot, not enough to go around if you have two cars. illegal tenants also take up spots. 7) Entrance and Exits: pot hole at the one entrance to a one-way on Union. Dublin is hard to exit, always gets blocked in from traffic at the light 8) Solicitation: Despite the signs, they still show up 9) No View for You: only 12 apartments have a view, so that is a lie 10) Laundry?: 6 washers and 6 dryers for the whole complex. 11) The Actual Apartment: Gap in the door leaks my heat and AC, appliances don't work, tub has a leak (sorry again neighbor below me),
The only pro to this place is that it has a roof but I wouldn't even recommend this place to a homeless person. The establishment is wore out and so is their staff.
For the area, right off of Dublin and union, the view is nice, a great view of the mountains, the staff is nice, and the services are superb. The maintenance could use some work as they only have two men that perform maintenance, and they are usually slow in making new site things are up to code. Otherwise, this is a nice place to live.
The rent is reasonable, and they are very easy going on pets, I've even seen a Great Dane living here. But Do Not get an apartment near the pool, they refuse to lock the gate and so people are in the pool at 2-3 am, yelling and splashing. We've complained to management many times and they claim that they lock the gate every night but they don't. They say they can't do anything about it and we just need to call the police when people are in the pool. Also the display/demo apartment they show you is really nice and new appliances, but when you move in you have cream colored appliances from the 60's that hardly work. They are also slow to responding to maintenance, such as the stairwell outside is rotting and if someone leans on it there is a chance it will break and cause serious injury, but they haven't even come by to fix it even though its an extreme hazard.
I lived at cottonwood terrace at two different times and by far the friendliest staff and most comfortable place to live ! If I ever had a problem with apartment which was very few someone was right there to fix the problem! Great place to have a pet as well very pet friendly! I'm actually looking to find a place pretty soon and cotton wood terrace is my first choice by far!
