West Palm Beach puts the excitement and extravagance of South Florida in your lap without the exorbitant price tag. It’s a great community for folks who like to stay active: The Lake Trail offers a chance to ride a bike through a scenic route lined by majestic trees, historic mansions (including Henry Flagler’s Sea Gull Cottage), and the Intracoastal Waterway.
The nightlife along Clematis Street and at the CityPlace complex provides enough variety to ensure that there are always plenty of options for your after-hours adventures. Numerous performance venues and music festivals bring an eclectic roster of concerts to the community; SunFest in particular attracts major touring act and regularly draws hundreds of thousands of fans to the waterfront every spring.
For a more intimate and refined experience, catch a performance by the Palm Beach Pops or the Miami City Ballet at the Kravis Center.

Property Ratings at The Point at Palm Beach Grove
No a pleasant place to live. The show appartments are way nicer than the actual rentable ones, mail room is just a closet for packages (no lockers), right across the street is some sort of machine noise that gets a lot louder at night, the maintenance crew come down the hallways with gas powered leaf blowers and the appartment smells of exhaust when this happens.

My Fiancé and I have been living here since January 2020. We've enjoyed the community and especially the new apartments. Everything is kept very clean, thanks to the diligence of maintenance. Whenever we have an issue they come to fix it right away! I take my dog to the spacious dog park weekly, not to mention the beautiful lake, and accommodating pool/gym. There is so much to do, I love sunbathing on a clear day! We're going to be staying here until we move abroad, but it's been such a wonderful and safe community!
Before moving and shortly after, moving out of LUMA, I had looked at several apartments across the West Palm Beach and downtown area. Upon finding LUMA, everything seemed great! New buildings, nice facilities, and amenities alongside that. The tour we were given seemed nice and there was no trouble at first glance. 1. There is a terrible lack of organization within the management team. 2. SMOKING AND DRUGS! This is supposed to be a 100% smoke-free community however, people completely disregard this fact even though its clearly stated around the property AND in the lease agreement. On top of this, because there is a drug problem in South Florida, this place is infested with drug users. They think they are being sneaky by sitting in their cars, "hotboxing", at strange times of days or at night, but it's blatantly obvious when the smell of marijuana hits your nose as you exit your vehicle. The management team sends out little reminders each week about smoking, but who is really going to pay attention to that? 3. NOISE! If you're a person who likes your peace and quiet, well, you're not going to get that here. The walls are paper thin and if you have a loud neighbor- you'll hear whatever they have going on- happy or not. The management team also fails to deal with problems such as this regardless of the amount of evidence you may provide, or the number of times you call to report the problem. 4. TRASH! Within this community, there is a $25/mo fee for valet trash services. The units come with a TRASH CAN that you are supposed to use and place outside your unit Sunday-Thursday for the valet trash workers to come by and pick up. People in this community have a hard time following this one rule as every single day I stepped outside my unit there was a trash bag across, or down the hall. In particular, before being evicted, the renters across from my unit had trash laid out every week that LEAKED! It leaked so badly once and down to my doorway, I ended up cleaning the mess because it was so disgusting. Do you want critters in your apartment? In addition, there is an entire trash/recycle area if you have extra trash, bulk items, or again, recyclables. The trash compactor is so easy to use. There is a GREEN BUTTON to press if the machine becomes full. Members of this community also disregard this and pile trash to the sky if it is full. How about raccoons? I wish I could continue, but sadly, I ran out of characters. Hopefully, you pick somewhere else to be!
I spent a bunch of time looking for a new place and was having a surprisingly hard time finding one that ticked all my boxes, there always seemed to be a concession with the place and a lot seemed priced too high for their age/spec/location/etc. Figure I'll pay it forward with a review since the lack of them made me cautious at first. 3 months in and it's great, everything works and there's no real concessions here which is what I saw before I signed the lease but have confirmed since moving in. It's literally brand new, you'll most likely be the first person to live in the apartment. Considering how many apartment complex in south florida are 10-20 years old and are asking the same $ that's a huge perk in my view. A/C, water heater and appliances all brand new? yes please. Thick and heavy sliding hurricane glass door for when mother nature gets angry, good peace of mind there. The security gates works every time, I opted for a garage which is a little on the thin side but really deep. Something you don't notice until you visit is how all the building's hallways are open so there's a nice breeze flowing through non-stop, on the higher floors especially. Really cool! The kitchen is a really healthy size, I don't even know what to do with it all but I've been cooking a lot more. Oh almost forgot...AT&T has fiber internet available here, which means you can get 1000mbps speed. Most internet in fl is 5-20mbps. I don't know how I survived before now but there's no going back. Trash gets picked up 5 nights a week outside your door, it's so easy I almost feel bad. I see the 2 star review here about smoking, yeah don't be a smoker and try to live here...it's pretty simple. Also the office seems organized and on point every time I've been in there, the whole leasing process went really smoothly.
LUMA is a wonderful rental community. Eric, as well as the other staff at LUMA are extremely helpful and do whatever they can to make the residents happy. The property is extremely safe and I enjoy living here :)
What an amazing place to live! Close to everything, beautiful floor plans! It's a well laid out complex with great neighbors! Pool time is the best time! If you are looking for a place with more bang for your buck, consider living here! It's home!
This is a 100% smoke free community and you will eventually be told and required to sign an extremely extensive addendum to your lease. You, nor visitors can have lighted smoking material or can smoke ANYWHERE on the property. Neighbors are encouraged to report each other and agree to prosecute each other for violations. Also, valet trash is required at $25 per month and there is NO recycling program in effect. The property is brand new and the apartments are beautiful. Just don't think you can smoke anywhere as they appear to care about the health of the community (i.e. protect their investment)but they don't appear to care about the no recycling impact on the environment. Neither are mentioned early on in the application process and don't be fooled by veiled comments that you slip off to smoke safe areas as that is NOT the case and you will violate your lease and could eventually be asked to vacate. The office is understaffed and disorganized. The security gate system does not work yet. Do your due diligence here for sure.
