Incurring massive expense because move-in date was postponed
PLEASE READ. We have read all the reviews, and were cautious, yet it happened to us too… A week before our move-in date. Moving from out of state. Renters insurance in place. Electricity account set up. Travel arrangements set. Moving truck in route. We receive a call after 4pm, on Thursday (we move in in a week, next Friday), notifying us that the unit won’t be available for another 3 weeks after our original move-in date due to dry wall construction and water damage. As a solution, we were offered a SMALLER unit, which Reedhouse (or should I say Greystar management) “might” be able to offer us at the same rate as our original unit. We have inquired about a unit that is at least the same square footage as our original unit, and Reedhouse/Greystar will not honor the same rate. In order to obtain this information, we have been calling Reedhouse/Greystar every day, never have spoken directly with anybody in charge that are making decisions. To this day, we have not been offered any fair or adequate solution. Beware of Greystar, who is running this apartment complex, do not rely on “set” move-in dates. You will have to defend your right to receive the services you signed up for. We have to re-arrange work start days, business airfare, personal travel plans, postpone renters policy, electricity account, moving truck AND find alternative housing for the 3 weeks.

I know this review will NOT be shared by Reedhouse, but I cannot recommend RH or any Greystar property. Although the location is prime and you cannot beat it, the quality of amenities, service, and corruption and negligence of management is ultimately what makes RH and any Greystar property not worth it. They do not acknowledge or respond to safety concerns and I do not believe individuals in management to uphold ethical guidelines about taking care of their tenants.

I love living here. The environment is nice, its quiet and feels tucked away but we are still close to everything like gas and groceries and good restaurants are a plenty. The river walk allows a sort of escape and is super nice. Also, they are pet friendly and its fantastic to have a companion with you while living here!

Reedhouse is that great balance between the desirable SE Boise community and the affordable price of rent without breaking the bank. The staff is extremely friendly and relatable, and the grounds and amenities make you feel right at home. The pool, workout room, and common space are easily accessible, yet do not feel overwhelming and commercial like most like apartment complexes.

Im happy I found this beautiful community, tucked back in the trees by a lake, the river and the greenbelt. Its so peaceful here. I have a cool modern loft with a skylight and fireplace and all the modern amenities a girl could want. Renter beware, we have been here for seven months now and Ive still not gotten all of our maintenance requests completed that we submitted on day one. It took nearly 6 months just to get our toilet to stop flushing all day and all night. When we moved in there were cigarette butts in the air-conditioning unit we had to clean out, weve asked multiple times to get the air-conditioning unit professionally cleaned out and still no action has ever been taken on this. Its a beautiful location and the staff is friendly but nothing ever gets done. Just yesterday a nail gun was plugged in and live right next to my door that I almost kicked, not a worker in sight, my aunt kicked one and the nail went through her foot and center to the hospital . This sort of thing is pretty typical here .
