Property Ratings at Country Club Apartments
Just waiting for my lease to end, the property is not too bad. Parking here sucks, it's so far away from all the apartments, except if you live right in the back area. Parking at CVS is a lot closer to me and that says a lot. Management is alright, not too bad. If you want to live in a safe area you shouldn't move in here. It's very active in crime out here, lot's of gunshots fired, people dying, and other bizarre things citizens shouldn't be hearing or dealing with on a daily basis. However, more upset about the roach issue, our apartment has been fumigated 3 times and we still deal with roaches. The water turns brown when not used, happens when I'm not home for 2-3 days per say. Also, if you live where the gate opens, if your a light sleeper the gate will get stuck about every once a month and go off around the middle of the night, waking me up constantly and having to be in charge of clicking the button to hold the gate open so I can stop hearing the alarm going off for an extra 5 minutes. When I first moved in there was a funky smell that lingered for a while, it was the roaches & other insects in the walls stinking up the place. Also still dealing with ants in our balcony, all our plants got ruined with ants so we stopped keeping them out there. Rent is overpriced here for living in Van Nuys and under these conditions, could have definitely found something better for the price I'm paying here. Definitely consider other places unless your desperate to move, management will have no problem accomdating you to move in right away.
I have been living here for over 20 years and it never ceases to disappoint me. Not only is it convenient as it is local to many essential places such as a pharmacy, market, gas station, and etc. but it is also a great environment. The apartment building has a spacious backyard area with a grass field, bbq, and swimming area. Aside from its great features, it is also a great community as the neighbors are very friendly and welcoming. With that, the crew here is just phenomenal as they are always willing to help you and your living here even better. For example, the manager, Betty, is very kind and is quick to help with any problems or questions that I have. As for the maintenance, John and Aurelio, they are always prompt when you need anything fixed or done. Overall, I highly recommend this as it has a beautiful interior and outdoor area along with great people surrounding it. You will not be disappointed.

My Boyfriend and i have lived here for a year now and we loved the place. Management was nice, the layouts of our apartment was perfect, back patio for hanging out, pool, and even an awesome yard for working out (etc). They keep the patio clean and even the "drive way". Parking there is also a huge plus. I even loved how the front door to the apartments are all outside. Everything around Country Club is also really convenient, CVS, a bar, HHC, gas station,taco trucks and even a grocery store. If there is ever anything wrong with your sink (etc) management is on top of that and does a really good job with responding to requests. Also very friendly people in this small community.

Country Club Apartments was my first apartment in the LA area after relocating from the East coast. After reading the reviews online, seeing the photos, and even having extended family members conduct site visits I thought I made a great apartment selection. While the leasing office staff was very nice, my particular unit suffered with cockroaches (which unfortunately this was not disclosed prior to moving in). Again super nice leasing office staff, responsive maintenance team, decent size units, and large walk-in closets. Unfortunately my unit suffered with cockroaches from neighboring units resulting in a short lived stay.
Country Club Apartments located in the heart of Van Nuys, CA is a touch of lush Valley living. The front of the building offers you an array of beautiful flowers lined up against the building. If you look closely you’ll notice the sculptures of Goddesses on the sophisticatedly painted walls. The building is a security gated complex. As you proceed through the drive way you can’t help but see how immaculate the grounds are kept. You’ll also get a glimpse of the other lovely green plants seen through each of the building’s corridors as well as the sparkling pool and patio area. The building has several roomy floor plans ranging from studios to 2 bedrooms all with great amenities such as a/c, extra-large closets, stainless steel appliances and genuine hard wood floors. CCA is within walking distance to a great selection of restaurants, shopping establishments, banks and gas stations. Everything you could want or need is in close proximity including the 101 and 405 freeways. You can’t go wrong living in The Country Club Apartments. Come check it out for yourself.
