Property Ratings at Country Club Park Apartments (320 S. Drake...
I came in for a walk through and the manager was very friendly and helpful. She walked me through a couple apartments and also was very knowledgeable on the area and units.
Country Club Apartments is a wonderful community to live in. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly. Maintenance addresses issues efficiently and effectively.
Management is the best I ever experienced in my life. Property is a pleasure to live at.
The property manager is super helpful and does an incredible job showing and communicating. I would recommend checking it out if you're in the market for an apartment.
Ever since this property changed management it has been wonderful! Very easy to work with and you will always get prompt answers on maintenance calls day or night. Can't recommend this property enough
These may seem like nice apartments and affordable well they’re tricking you. My tok ate and I moved in and the first week we lived there every outlet in the kitchen stopped working besides one. This did not get fixed for over a month after calling everyday. There is black mold on all windows ( I even asked all the neighbors in the building) then to top it off the whole building is infested by roaches. Then I found out from the lady across from us that they've had roaches for OVER A YEAR. We called everyday about the roaches and they wouldn’t come so we finally had to call the health department. They came and even talked to the office and confirmed there was a infestation and they put one trap in the kitchen. ONE! When we tried to move out because of the awful experience we had they tried to evict us. I repeat do not move into these apartments!! The management sucks and also the washer in your building will be broke down for weeks at a time.
Since moving in I have had multiple issues maintenance never is able to fix and there have been five different maintenance people and 4 office managers in 14 months. My heater went out it was replaced after almost two months then my air went out that took over two weeks to fix while my apartment was 98° inside. Every request for refunds of how much additional money that cost me have been responded to with its not in my lease. Three days ago now my new heater went out still isnt working they "They say it will be here tommarow" then the heaters they brought in crash the breaker shutting everything off and in my opinion being a fire hazard. If the property owners cared more I'd actually like living here.
The staff is very friendly and maintenance gets handled almost immediately (if you ever have any). This place has really turned around, been renovated, and we are excited to call it home!
Absolutely worst place to live. After being shown a gorgeously staged apartment and promised amenities that were not included i was given a moldly bug-infested unit. Crickets, spiders, stink bugs, pinch bugs all infested my unit. my neighbors face was paralyzed from a spider biting him on the temple. my apartment was anything but nice to come home to. a broken window that the staff promised to fix never got fixed and became surrounded by mold and leaked into my unit anytime it rained. The staff is terrible and POWER HIGH. especially logan. they are difficult and not easy to work with nor does the maintenance keep up with the place. you have to bother them several times for them to address an issue. after dealing with respitory issues from the second I moved in I found out that I had been exposed to black mold. the water is hard and often comes out brown. Country Club Apts are a terrible and health altering place to live, they should be shut down. please do not fall for the unit they show you.
I was shown the model apartment, which was lovely. I was promised an apartment just like it - new carpet, fresh paint, and clean. I repeatedly asked to see the unit I would be renting and was promised that I would get to see it prior to signing a lease. They stalled until I signed the lease, and I didn't get to see the unit until it was too late to cancel the moving company. First, the carpet: Essentially a cat (or multiple cats) had clawed the carpet up throughout most of the unit. In the dining room area, we found cat litter still embedded in the carpet. Not only was it not the new carpet that I was promised, it hadn't even been cleaned. I went into the small bedroom, and I found that the carpet was coming up in the corner, and it was dirty underneath with exposed nails. This was the bedroom that was intended for my five year old son. So, not only could he not stay there because of the urine soaked contaminated carpets, the carpeting wasn't even safely secured. I went into the kitchen. Like everything else in the apartment, it had not been cleaned. The floor was dirty, stained, and even had some burn marks, the counters weren't clean, but the major filth was hidden behind the closed doors. I thought it would be a quick, albeit annoying (since I had been promised a clean apartment), cleaning job until I opened the cupboards - food remnants, oily residue, sticky stuff, dust, dirt. It was disgusting. It was clear that they had not been cleaned, especially when I found a pill in one! When I opened the fridge I was appalled at the brown smears throughout. I went into the bathroom. I had been warned that the tub had normal stains...It was so dirty that I would have had to scour it extensively prior to use. Then I looked up. I couldn't believe it. Around the exhaust fan, it looked as if part of the ceiling was falling in, and there were water droplet all over the ceiling. The ceiling was leaking! In addition to the bathroom not being clean (and the chipped mirrors, and the bathroom door with the mystery splashes - more cat urine?), the ceiling was leaking and the area where the ceiling looked like it could fall was directly over the bathtub. There was already pieces of debris in the tub that had fallen from the ceiling. I couldn't believe that any apartment complex would rent out a unit in this condition, especially to someone with a young child. There were also holes in the screens and missing siding, so there were insects getting into the apartment.
Such a great community! quiet location, huge apartment! The pools amazing ... As far as maintenance goes Ive never had an issue there have been things that have needed extra parts for and ive have had to wait . but that happens any where as soon as they get it they fix it. never had an issue with crime here and to address the flood issue the other tenant stated they tell us when moving in place all our personal items in plastic bins it is a basement!!!I would neverrrrr leasve precious belongings somewhere wiithout them being protected just incase life happens. All around i love everything about this community.. from my neighbors to the ladies in the front office .. the location is soooooo amazing i can walk to the post office and to hardings if needed.. im close enough to the good stuff but tucked away enough to feel like country living.
Maintenance takes a few days to respond to any incident and are very under qualified. They had no idea what they were doing. The office is always closed for an "emergency" and there are no security cameras. My car was broken into, window shattered, stuff stolen and they didn't do anything about it. The storage unit flooded 3 different times and they didn't replace any of my belongings. They didn't even fix the flooding issue for over a month. When we were moving out, they said our security deposit was $100 less than what we paid. The day of our move in we were driving over to move in and I received a phone call telling me the apartment wasn't ready for move-in. They had to schedule a carpet cleaning and it didn't get cleaned until the following day after 4pm.
