No matter what you're looking for, you're likely to find it in Indianapolis' Far Eastside neighborhood. Bordered by Interstate 465, the neighborhood enjoys an array of urban conveniences. The saying around Far Eastside is that once you live here, you'll always be an “Eastsider” because residents are very passionate about their community. Some of the standouts in the neighborhood include the Warren Performing Arts Center, which is considered one of the city's top theaters.
The neighborhood houses several commercial clusters, apartment buildings, farmland, and single-family homes. Its convenient proximity to downtown makes it ideal for commuters while putting residents outside of the hustle that lies within the interstate.

Property Ratings at Country Lake Estates
Where do I begin... First, it's quite visible the moment you enter the property that the management does not care for it well. There's no way this apartment complex should be rated 4/5, this leads me to not believe ratings for other apartments. The current office staff is doing the best with the hand she's been dealt, I assume but the entire complex is trash. The premises are dirty, ppl dump trash wherever they please, the units are rodent infested, and there's random crime occurrences from break-ins to shootings. Do Not... And I repeat, if you care about your safety and wellbeing, Do Not Move to Cheswick Village Apartments, you'll live to regret it!

Don't move here unless you want to owe them more and more money each month. Also my washer leaked, and they didn't even clean up the area. They just replaced it after 2 months. Now I have a new washer on a dirty floor in my bedroom!
I have lived here for nearly 3 years. The maintenance takes MONTHS to complete work no matter how simple. The management has changed too many times to count. The neighborhood is nice and the people. Its just the upkeep and promptness of request is horrible. It seems as if they don't want to spend the money to properly upkeep the property. Also the accessive fees every month- pest fee(even if you dont have pest, administrative fees. Don't let them tell you water and sewer are 50 bucks a month either. I recently paid nearly 100 dollars just for sewage alone. Just keep this in mind if interested and budget accordingly.
When I first moved in I was shown a battered one bedroom. I was told it was only a model and that it was under renovations. First day I showed up to see my place it turned out to be the same dismantled apartment. When I asked to have the place fixed up (examples holes in the walls, broken sink, damaged floors, and pest problems) they promised they would do something about it multiple times but never did. Had to call them multiple times with no answer. They were never at there leasing office. Even there corporation stopped answering eventually. Terrible place to live.
This place is horrible they switch staff at least once a month, during the year I lived here there were 4 property managers. You have to call maintenance several times before they actually show up, and don’t reach out to corporate because they never call back. There is a nice infestation in these apartments I had mice for a whole month before they sent out pest control, and I have to call the board of health for them to send them out. My neighbors had them as well. The rent increases by hundreds of dollars every month, it’s just not worth it! Pay attention to the reviews, I sure wish I had of!!!
As a long time renter I have found that bad comments stem from something else such as a bad resident, late paying your bills, or something. No place and no one is perfect. I have lived at Cheswick Village Apartments now for several years and I have to admit the current workers are the best group I have seen in a long time. We have a manager who takes time and listens, who offers suggestions, who I have seen help the guys with work orders, etc. The maintenance team is a also huge improvement. I would recommend these apartments to anyone and I have. I love my home.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I've made maintenance orders 4 months ago and still doesn't have anything fixed just a promise they will get to it when they can. One of them is a security issue. I keep getting billed for extras that I do not have and is not on my lease. They tell me to prove and when I do I'm told I'll get evicted if I don't pay the extras that are now past due even though they know they're wrong. All you get is the run around when asking questions because they always have to talk to corporate first and 6 months later nothing is right. RUN not walk away from this place like I will when my lease is finally over.
These apartments are over priced for the area and service received. Last couple months there have been multiple people pistol whipped/robbed in the parking lot and they refuse to get security since it's not in their "budget". They advertise to be an IMPD sub station but that's a lie. Also the manager got jumped yesterday in the parking lot, maybe that will encourage them to get some security. Its very sad to see how far this property has come just for it to go down the drain once management changes. Once my lease is up I plan to leave the community.
This place is HORRIBLE. The office NEVER answers the phone, their hours are always changing and there is rarely anybody there even during the hours that they claim to be open. I have left five voicemails for them and never can get a call back. I even called their owners at ROCO and never heard back. Just an absolutely disgusting staff they have. There have been four different property managers in the ONE year that I have lived here and they keep getting worse and worse. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
I think these apartments are in great condition and they are suitable for people to live in. I would recommend them to anyone, it's a homey environment and I like the space it includes. It's perfect for me and my family. I believe we will fit for the free rent for a year.
was told I had a fully upgraded apt, with washer and dryer, signed lease then a couple weeks later, they tell me it doesn't, and wants to charge me 35 a month extra
This is the Best Apartment Complex Ever I love my Townhouse the community is quiet very clean and has a beautiful pool and fitness center and the staff here is awesome Sarah and Brandy are GREAT they made me feel so comfortable and special and helped me with anything I needed I would highly recommend this apartment complex to everyone!!!!!! I am so happy im not planning on moving for a very long time so your stuck with Sarah and Brandy
This apartments are not being keep in good conditions. Mine has a lot of issues as leaking from the bathroom walls, the stove is old and 2 of the burning are not working. I have been trying for one month, to make them repair all this, but they just ignore my requirements. For the money that I am paying, you can find a better place to live, I do not recommend this apartments.
The apartment is good for the most part but the renovations were cheaply/poorly done so I don't think it is worth the price. I do love the space it has and the gorgeous kitchen. The walls are thin, I can hear and smell way too much from my neighbors. There would be enough parking if residents followed the rules and only used 2 spots per apartments, for that reason, I feel there should be assigned parking with towing. I don't like that there is no grace period for rent. I forgot to pay my rent before I went out of town and there was a $50 late fee just for the 1st day late. Also, there is a $5 fee to pay rent online even though there are break-ins in the rent box. That should be free for that reason. I think the water price is way too high. I have never had a water bill this high in my life, even in a house. If those things were changed/fixed and the rent wasn't so high, I would have given a 4 or 5.
I live in Cheswick Village Apartments and it's a nice place to call home. The unit is very spacious. The staff is very nice and the maintenance workers respond to requests very promptly.
Cheswick Village is a very nice place to live. I've lived there for five years and I haven't had any issues. The apartment unit I stay in is a spacious townhome with two bedrooms with hardwood flooring in the kitchen. It has a spacious, closed in patio to relax on or to entertain guests. The apartment staff are very nice, organized and helpful and the maintenance workers respond to requests promptly. Overall, these apartments are a nice place to call home.
