My neighbor and I both have mold in our apartments. The office would not hire a professional or even do a test. We had to. They are graciously letting us leave early but we haven’t been able to stay in our “home” for 3 months because if we’re in the apartment for more than 5-6 hours, we get congested and start coughing. We still have to tire a prof carpet cleaner despite paying for something we can’t use until we can move. The audacity.

This entire complex is infested with roaches and they don't do anything about it! They said pest control was supposed to come every month but we haven't seen them in 6 months. The roaches are deep in the walls so I doubt spraying will do anything. Find a place that care about their tenants and property!

We have started contracting with a new pest control service provider in hopes that we will receive better service as well as quickly remedy any outstanding issues. The office staff is so friendly and very helpful. The maintenance team is always quick to respond to work requests. This property is always so clean and seems to be well kept. The location is so close to everything from shopping to restaurants. What more could you ask for?

I am certainly happy with the choice I made. I have met some nice neighbors as well. Socially distant of course. I wish there was a 3 bedroom with the washer and dryer hook up spot available, but they are full. It has been hard to find a decent apartment that size for a good price. I have plenty of space in the apartment i chose, but when I can transfer I will get a an even bigger apartment.

I moved in just over a month ago and I have already dealt with roaches, people stealing my packages and now im dealing with issues of hearing every little thing from both sides from our neighbors. Its not worth the money to live in a place that acts like a 100year old house with creaks everywhere.

We strive to maintain a nice community for everyone. Theft has been a widespread issue in the city that we wish we could somehow combat. We recommend calling the local authorities if you see anything suspicious happening, and filing a report when possible. We do keep the property brightly lit to discourage bad behavior. We can also distribute notices to neighbors for being too loud and provide additional services for other issues. Please contact us if you would like the opportunity to discuss these matters further. At the beginning of covid they did nothing. Many people lost jobs and I watched as about 1/3rd of the residents had to leave. Now, in October of 2020 still during a pandemic, they raised the rent. Its funny because now they're begging people to move in with a dozen different specials and promotions. This place does not deserve residents.

Dear Concerned Resident, We are a little confused by this review because we tried to come up with many ways to alleviate some stress at the beginning of last year between additional discounts, flexible payment, and pausing many policies like late fees. We also have not had a rental increase during the pandemic. What I am guessing happened is that your lease expired and it was moved the market rate that was already in place prior to covid. I am really sorry if this caused a burden during this time. Please call the office if you would like to discuss this and come up with a positive solution with us. This has been a challenging time for everyone navigating uncharted territory as we try to remain fully operational and providing quality service at a time when more people are staying home than ever. We tried and continue to try to communicate with our residents even more so now, so that we can come up with a plan if there are hurdles. Our goal is to be helpful and respectful of each resident's situation. Again, we are so sorry if you were negatively impacted by some things we could not control happening this past year, and we hope that we can end on a positive note. I have been waiting on my deposit check since June 2018. We moved out in May 2018. I have called multiple times every month to try and get my deposit. I even offered to come to the office and pick it up. I was informed for the first time on December 7th that I do not get a deposit, after being told I was getting my 250 deposit back in July, that the toilets were dirty even though they were installed in 1980, and was told that by one of the maintenance men after the plumbing backed up into our apartment. Leaky pipes ruined an armoire that we had in our infants room, caused mold and the wood to rot. We were not reimbursed. The office staff charged us for screw holes and to paint the cabinets, that got torn out for a remodel after we moved out. They also charged us for a dirt stove, that we cleaned to the best of our ability, but it was manufactured in the 1980’s, so it was impossible to be cleaned fully. Overall, this company cares nothing but about taking money from faithful renters. I will never recommend them to anyone.

Dear Renter, I am sorry that you had a negative experience with us, as we do try our best to be transparent with ur tenants as well as keep the property nicely updated for a building built in the mid to late 80s. If you ever experience any leaks please notify us right away so that we can resolve the issue and prevent these events! We want to take care our of tenants and our apartments. It is common practice in the industry to require renters insurance in the event that your belongings are damaged by unforeseen circumstances. This can be an unfamiliar process, so we are very happy to help with this process as well if we are notified within the time constraints of the insurance company. At move out, you should have been provided with a form that explains any move out charges that may accrue to help set you up for success. We encourage our residents to do the move out walk through with the manager so that there are no surprises. I will follow up with our office staff to make sure these steps are being taken properly to avoid these issues as well as be as helpful as we can in the future utilizing your insurance policy to your benefit. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. I do apologize again for any confusion and we wish you the best with all future rental experiences.
Westport Road area I have learned is prestigious in Louisville (East End). One of the cheaper apartments in the East End but has all of the accommodations of the luxury communities. Affordable for my family to be able to save to purchase a house in the next couple of years. Quiet, friendly people, great quality, affordable utilities. We were amazed at how pretty and up to date these apartments were on the inside.
Renting here has met my needs. Redone inside. Looks very nice and do not have to pay a fortune. Never have to fight for parking. They take two pets. Was worried about utility system, but it actually is ending up cheaper than what I previously paid.

This is by far the best place to live in Westport area. I was a student who stumbled upon this place halfway through a lease that I eventually ended up breaking just to live here. A few of the key points: The staff is some of the best, at least in my own opinion. The manager makes sure you are well taken care of and will do just about any thing within reason to make a resident happy. When I left to go on vacation I thought I left my door unlocked and they went and locked it for me! I was extremely thankful! The quality of the apartment is top notch for the money.The location is one of the easiest to live in and also get where I need to be. Sometimes during rush hour it can take a couple minutes to turn left since there is no light coming out of the complexc, but it would be about the same as waiting at a light to turn so not bad. I feel very safe there. Bottom line, this place is simply amazing. This is an apartment community worth checking out at least!

My husband and I moved here about two months ago and absolutely love it! We toured several other properties but ultimately decided on this place because of the updated apartments, and the Lyndon area in general. A nice lady showed us around the model unit and property during our first visit, in addition to assisting us during the lease signing process. We felt bad because we had a lot of questions about the property, community and school district but she was so knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole experience. We haven't had any complaints so far and have recommended this place to many friends.

I have to agree with the only other review. I think it is definitely improving over time too little by little. When I chat with maintenance and office staff I begin to understand the complexity of running a place like this and the simple fact that they take the time to have honest human conversation with me lets me know they are genuine and care. They work hard to make this place comfortable. THe only thing I would change is maybe adding a Free Chocolate Friday to the community? Kiddinh! But really this place works for me. KEep life simple and invest in your community the way they do and this world will be a better place.

I am not kidding when I say this apartment surpassed all other apartments I have lived in, especially for the price. My family loved it when they came to visit and I had plenty of room to entertain. I also had lots of closet space which is a must for me. The pool was a plus (and it was right beside the laundry room - super easy to drop your laundry and go lay out!)
