I became a new resident to Courtney Bend in August, since the first time I walked in the door to ask about my renting options, I've felt at home. I've found the management and maintenance staff to be very friendly and helpful. My apartment was spotless and in pristine condition on my move in date, and I have yet to encounter any issues with my unit. The property of CB is gorgeous, from the beautiful palm trees to the luxurious pool I swear i feel like I go on a mini vacation every time I layout! I highly recommend CB as a safe, clean, and beautiful place to live!

So far, I had really enjoyed my recent move-in love my apartment and I love how attentive the offices with maintenance request, etc. if I could have anything else done per request, it would be spiderwebs removed from stairwells and building as well as by front door

I’ve been moved in since June and there are still things they said they would fix from the maintenance list and yet things are still left undone. They have a lack of follow through and tend to wait til the last minute to get things done. I should of known from the 1st day when we came to sign the lease and the apartment was still not ready that things weren’t going to go well with this establishment. It’s been an experience and since it is our first time renting not sure if it’s an experience I want to have again.

Love the apartment, quiet. Unhappy about roach problem kitchen n bathroom. Bad lighting entrance hallway overhead lightbulbs need replacement as do lower walkway lights I am new tenant so have not experienced the pool, computer room or any other things offered Mail room easy access When security gate is back in operation, I’m sure that will be nice. As for now we or anyone can enter property at any time Office staff very helpful and friendly. Maintenance I have not had any experience with them. Again, new resident and hopeful they will be available and timely with requests in portal writing. Looking forward to living here with few problems corrected in timely manner

Not the best place to live. The gate hasn’t worked, so there’s a lack of safety. And there are tons of spiders hanging every morning. Repairs do not get completed, so don’t bother asking.

We were expecting the premises to be a lot cleaner and taken care of as it seemed on the Internet. The gate does not work, some of the garages do not have openers, we pay for trash and the compactor does not work. When moving into the apartment the level of cleanliness was extremely low. We had to clean & dust the entire place. Not to mention that the toilet had a brown rim throughout. Their services should be better for what you pay.

Everything was great until 6 weeks ago when the HVAC burned up. Haven't had air conditioning since mid june. The office staff are trying to get it replaced but lack of maintenance personnel seems to be the issue. As of right now I'm just living in a sauna.

This has not been the exciting move I thought it would be. From holes in the walls, soaking wet carpets, broken mirrors, locks not working correctly- all to have promised it’d be taken care of…now the office refuses to respond to me. This has been a horrible experience. They don't care. They should have just said the apartment wouldn’t be ready on the time frame we agreed upon rather than putting me in an apartment that is far from luxury.

I’ve gotten mixed emotions about this facility when we came to sign the 1st lease. Apartment was still not finished and the place looked nothing like we expected so we decided to switch to a larger unit 2 weeks out. Came to sign that lease and still the apartment wasn’t finished at time of signage. We had to leave and give them another hour. When we returned to the unit we found that the dishwasher leaked and 2 doors didn’t close properly. This all happening within the first day of move in. They are supposed to fix the situation soon. It just seems to me to be a luxury apartment complex they should be better at preparing homes and move ins should run more smoothly than our experience has.

Unhappy with current management
Several maintenance request marked “complete” but never done. No parking light or entrance light for the past year with several maintenance request. No communication from office. No events. Compactor is a disaster with household items constantly left for several days. Parking is a constant nightmare

Go somewhere else
Apartment was dirty, smelly and in poor condition upon moving in. I was assured that repairs/replacements would be made. A few items were cleaned and fixed but I’ve been waiting over 4 months for drywall repair, painting and carpet cleaning as promised. A maintenance request for inoperable lighting in the corridor outside my apartment took 7 weeks to be repaired. Emails to management go unanswered. A leak from the ceiling in a garage I rent was reported 5 weeks ago. The leak was repaired but there is still sheet rock and debris strewn about the floor, a gaping hole in the ceiling and the electric door opener has been disabled. Security gates are rarely operational and the trash compactor area is disgusting

Constant Maintenance Problems
I have lived at Courtney Bend apartments for 2 years and have had constant maintenance issues. Last summer I did not have AC for six weeks despite multiple calls and e-mails to maintenance and management. My AC had gone out multiple times and it is clear that the maintenance team is just using a temporary fix instead of solving the problem. We also have had issues with leaks, our washer broke and wasn’t fixed for weeks, our dishwasher broke and wasn’t fixed for weeks - despite our prompt maintenance requests. The neighbors are great and the amount of space we have is great, but with constant maintenance problems it’s hard to enjoy living at Courtney Bend.

Great place poor management
The apartments themselves are fine, but the management and maintenance are a problem. Management never seems to have the solutions to any problem, and even though maintenance tries, they're aren't enough of them to keep up with the problem. It's not the worst, but its nowhere near the best.

SAVE YOUR MONEY
Terrible place. I paid for an apartment on the second floor. I’m older and the third floor is too many stairs but for safety i didn’t want to be on the first. I drove 10 hours with family in moving truck. When i get there to get my keys they tell me that I’m no longer on the second floor because that family didn’t move in, now I’m in the third floor. I asked why they hadn’t told me and they said they forgot. I told them i couldn’t do the third floor they told me that was my only option and they wouldn’t take any money off. If i didn’t want to move into a third floor apartment i would HAVE TO BREAK MY LEASE. Never met a staff so unwilling to help!

MOLDY, UNPROFESSIONAL, OVERPRICED- BEND
If i could give a place 0 stars i would. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE MANAGEMENT. New people in the front office each week that aren’t properly trained. MANAGEMENT REFUSES TO HELP AND EVEN MAKES YOU PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES. Living conditions are worse each year but the rent always goes up. They don’t address maintenance requests in timely fashion. Don’t address multiple claims for mold. A lot of burglaries happen in the parking lots. The front gates are always broken. I lived by myself and multiple times while i was sleeping they had maintenance men in my apartment. When i would go to the office to address it they would laugh it off and say “i should’ve received a small paper stuck in my door saying that people would be in my apartment.” I NEVER RECEIVED THE PAPER. Almost called the cops a few times because i believed someone had broken into my apartment. Also god forbid you nick one piece a paint off the walls they will charge you $100 dollars to repaint it. Carpet is supposed to be replaced after 7 years but it wasn’t replaced before i got there or after & it has been well over 7 years. Moved into a new place that had dog hair in the carpet (that I’m allergic to) but the office said it was vacuumed before i moved in & not there problem anymore. When i moved out i had to pay for all the problems that weren’t addressed before i moved in. I LIVED THERE 2 MONTH’s before my lease was ready for me to sign because the new manager and assistant manager are not properly trained. Just a ABSOLUTE joke of management and a place. 10/10 would definitely tell people to RUN away before you waste your time at MoldyBend.

Best Value in All Hilton Head/Bluffton/ Hardeeville
Courtney Bend has the best value of any apartment complex in the Bluffton/Hardeeville region. After a month of searching between the Hilton Head and Savannah my brother and I chose Courtney Bend. We have been here 5 months and I cannot say enough great things about this complex! AJ, Sam and the team are warm, professional and hospitable. The maintenence man has a heart of pure gold, a winning personality and the work ethic of an ox! The complex has a beautiful pool, grill and patio for the warmer months. With free tanning, free coffee, a great gym and a TV and game room the residence are left wanting for nothing! In a two bedroom, my brother and I each have our own walk in closet and plenty of living/ working space. One of the unsung values of Courtney Bend is how convenient it is to pop over to Publix or Walmart for groceries, that last minute ingredient you forgot to buy or items you may need for you apartment. As a young working class professional working in hospitality Courtney Bend receives an A from me! I am very greatful for this great place I call home!

No assigned parking so good luck finding a parking spot near your building after 6. Guest parking just as bad no one going to walk 3 blocks to my building.

Best Apartments in town.
I have lived in Courtney Bend For over year and half. being former military, I have rented many places before and can say that this is the best place I have lived. The property and pool are always maintained. The units are amazing. The staff are always friendly. The people that live here are very respectful of each other. This is a truly great place to live.

Sweet Abode
This has been an excellent place to call home. The property is well maintained, secure, and peaceful, especially with the surrounding woods. We are centrally located - just a short drive to the beach as well as historic cities and towns. We also have a beautiful pool area including swings and grills. The pool table, tanning bed and gym are icing on the cake! The office and maintenance staff are wonderful people, and that really helps to elevate my living experience from an apartment to a home. Great place to live
I move into Courtney Bend a couple months ago, and I love it. It's a quiet apartment complex that is taken care of. The staff is very helpful and highly attentive, but most of all take the time to get to know you. Maintenance is always willing to help out to the best of their abilities. In addition, the property is well maintained, and their zero drug policy makes me happy. The only downside is that the rent is rather expensive, but that all depends on when you move in.

Courtney Bend Apartments have been awesome. The apartments are contemporary with a beautiful style. Very spacious and up to date fixtures. Perfect for the book reader. Built in book shelves in the living room and bedroom. The kitchen is spacious as well. Super plus, all units have washer and dryers in the units.
