The city of Belvidere is a cozy suburban community positioned on the east side of Rockford. The city is widely known for its State Street Historic District, which spans both banks of the Kishwaukee River. This part of town is packed with beautiful red brick buildings and vintage storefronts still in active use today, hosting a vast selection of popular cafes, boutique shops, and other locally-owned businesses. Known as “Illinois’ City of Murals,” Belvidere proudly displays countless public works of art all across the community, including numerous old-time hand-painted advertisements. A string of large nature preserves lining the riverbanks provides endless opportunities for spending quality time outdoors, and Magic Waters Waterpark just west of town makes a perfect destination for hot summer days.

Property Ratings at Courtyard Apartments
I had moved in when there was terrible management but now there is a new team that took over and are “cleaning” the area and getting rid of certain people to make this area a more family and children friendly. There is a cockroach issue in these apartments and other type of bugs I’ve never seen in my life before. There is mold growing in the bathrooms ceiling and corners and in the rooms and apartment feels humid sometimes. In the winter apartments get super cold and the electric bill is high if you use the heaters. In the summer apartments get so hot and A/C is only in one of the rooms not in living room. The space is good but if you’re going to live here, don’t live here for too long.
We had to move in an extreme hurry thanks to my daughter and from the moment we spoke with the office manager Eisa, we were treated like family. And these days, you need someone who will take the time to actually listen to what you have to say & take care of whatever your problem is about. She truly cares about the tenants here, tries to help them when they need help, and so much more. Whenever we have needed something to be fixed in our unit, it gets done. There are times when it takes 1-3 days, for the maintenance person is tied up with another job that came before on his list, but he does get it done. There have been bad managers here previously, but the current management team is awesome!!! I am currently going back to college to finish my degrees and I'm glad to say that I don't have to worry about my son when he gets off the bus to come home. We are safe around here, quiet units & neighbors. Just keep in mind that management has worked on cleaning out the problem tenants and now only wants the good people in here, so that we remain safe.
This lady is rude and has no knowledge of things a property manager should know. She uses her authority as a manager against tenants. I wouldn't recommend living here at all unless they take out the trash manager they have. She makes your living experience here horrible. Owner needs to do something about this ASAP, or he'll have no more tenants. We won't even go there on the promises they make to fix things and never come through.
the worst service i have ever had in my life , management doesn't do any thing to help at all , they have an employee called Monique never delivers the massage to the owners , they promise a lot of things that you never get and at the end you will never get you security deposit back and i have paper work and pictures to back it up .
Management changed for the better in April 2015 and keeps getting better. Very prompt and attentive. They actually follow through on promises unlike previous men.
We first stopped by this complex because of the really neat sign that says "If you lived here you would be home by now." It just really perked my curiosity. I never thought about living in Belvidere ever! I am the most urban chi-town cittay guy. Upon arriving I was immediately greeted by the property managers - I just love Diana, Lou and Tom
the apartment is in a quiet place, is very comfortable for me and my family and my landlord is a well bearable person and provides for all the needs of the customer
