Property Ratings at Courtyard Apartments
Honest review. I was torn on whether or not I wanted to leave a review. However, recent events make me feel like I owe it to someone out there looking for quiet apartment living. If you like your quiet then continue reading. If you don’t care about having quiet enjoyment, then this is the place for you. Let me start off by saying that the manager and maintenance are great people. However, the apartments themselves, a different story. Why? Well, here’s the list… I can hear very clearly my neighbor downstairs snore, their t.v, music, talking, walking and sex. (per my neighbor who approached me and my son today about complaining to the Mgr about their loud music and tv) he said he listens to the TV at 20/30 volume and that’s how it is because it’s apartment living and he’s use to all the noise. Implying that he’s pretty much going to selfishly continue being loud. So it’s ok for them to live the way they want to with no consideration for others. I understand apartment living, have done it all my life, but when your quiet enjoyment is interrupted, it is very miserable. Whats unfortunate is if I break my lease I’m required to pay a one time fee, which compare to other places is not a bad deal, but in this case I am HAVING/NEEDING to move due to non-compliance/breach of lease by the neighbors and yet they remain put and happy while we have to adjust our living situation. I was hoping to make this our home for a couple more years, but my sanity is worth more. Highlights: small community, great location, shopping, and close to highway. Hopefully this review will save someone elses sanity. Good luck on your search. Update: it's been a few months and I figured I'd post an update. NOTHING has changed. Infact, maybe have gotten worse. The other day I had 3 older friends over because their AC broke and I invited them for dinner and some AC time. The neighbors downstairs i guess got irritated because we were laughing and talking, so they proceeded to play loud TV in the kitchen and put loud music in the 2nd room, so loud the floor was shaking, as to make a point. I'm so over this crap, the disrespect and childish essere from these 40+ adults is amazing. Can't wait to find a place where I can actually enjoy some quiet enjoyment.

I moved into these apartments from out of state. Brittany (Site Manager) and Tom (Grounds Keeper) have been phenomenal. I live in one of the 550sqft places on the bottom floor and have a cat. I've never had an issue that didn't get taken care of within two days and in the two years I've lived here, I've had no major issues. The neighbors are generally friendly, the grounds are *very* clean. Tom works hard to keep the place in good shape, the pool is as clean as any apartment pool ever is. Brittany and Tom go out of their way to make things nice. Also, they upgraded the windows shortly after I moved in and it's a huge benefit in the winter. My kitchen is also really nice. I've been in the larger apartments and they're nice, too - especially the fireplaces.
The best part of this apartment complex are the employees that work here. These are older buildings, and the staff works very hard to keep everything up to date. I have been very happy to live here for the last 8 years! The courtyard itself is very pleasant with Gazebo's to sit and talk with neighbors. The pool area has been completely rebuilt, and there is a grill there available to all free of charge. The only thing that I would have added to the complex is covered parking.
