Property Ratings at Courtyard at the Park
Lived at Courtyard previously. Location was great because it was walking distance to everything I needed. It's an older property, but comfortable. No issues with management, property was always clean and quite. Would've preferred no carpet at the time and better laundry machines. Everything else was fine.
Excellent, I wouldnt let my dog sleep there. Management lies, services not provided, no ac in summer and bug invested.
If you like roaches and you like flies please get an apartment at courtyard on the park I’m from New York and I’ve never seen this many roaches in the train station .... let alone this apartment. The elevator takes an eternity to get to your floor ....there’s only four floors in the building ....the pool wasn’t working for half the year the parking lot gets flooded every time it rains...Laundry machine only one works on each floor or every other week they are broken down my refrigerators been broken since I moved in Oh did I mention roaches lots of them you can be the cleanest person in the world and they’ll come out of the woodwork behind the stove behind the fridge under the counter they surprise you and finally the vent in the bathroom sounds like someone’s mowing their lawn every time you turn the light on . I already know I have to fight for my deposit back
I did my research and for the size of the apartment and the monthly rent, I found that this was the best deal. My apartment is spacious and located close to my job and everything I need. Office staff is nice and easy to get a hold of.
I lived here for three years. It started out very nice; but started a gradual decline in management, customer service, and amenities. The front office manager is never available - she was always out of the office during operating hours OR she wasnt available beyond 5p. So unless you can stalk the office every single minute, it will be impossible to add funds to your laundry card. The washers and dryers would malfunction regularly and, after multiple complaints,it would be months before they were fixed. The pool was cleaned twice while I lived there. It's possible that I may have missed the cleaning crew... but I certainly didn't miss the dirt, leaves, cold water, or nonworking filtering pumps not working on many occasions. When this was reported to the front office answering machine, nothing happened. The first year, my unit was clean and bug free. I attributed this to the monthly post control service. But by the second year, my dishwasher and garbage disposal were breeding grounds for small roaches. I kept complaining about this problem and was told that it was the fault of my filthy neighbors. This was unacceptable. After my toilet flooded my hallway and the 24-hr maintenance guy told me it wasnt an emergency,I had to raise hell before it was taken seriously. It was then that I was informed that he was being terminated by the end of the month because of new management. I thought it would be best to terminate my lease as soon as it was possible. I left this complex disappointed.... and further distraught because they kept my security deposit to change the hallway carpet that their toilet ruined. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!
I have a one bedroom apartment here. I love my apartment. It's spacious, lots of storage, and I have a nice sized balcony. It's also pretty quite, I'm always able to reach management, and issues in the apartment are taken care of quickly which is a plus. I would love to see updated landscaping and and the hallway flooring to be redone. Over all I'm happy.
Parking lot not safe at all for your vehicle. Everytime it rains the parking lot gets flooded. People for close neighborhoods can easily jump a little fence and get into to the complex. Complex has a “Gym” but the machines are not working at all. Apartment units are too old. The pool area looks clean, but trust me, there’s a reason why almost nobody goes to it. They just recently painted the entire complex from the outside to make it look a little bit better, but once you inside, and you start living there, you’ll regret it. Roaches everywhere in the kitchen even if you try to keep it as clean as possible. Be smart and find a better and more decent apartment somewhere else.
So far I'm really happy with this apartment complex. It's very quiet, clean, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The pool and gym area is also a plus.
