Moving day was not pleasant, but the new leasor was super professional and super understanding. Got me the help I needed it. Kept me updated on my situation. Also property management was able to work with me and my situation! Really awesome team!
Very noisy and unsafe place with neglectful management
The building itself is a great community, great location and truly a great place to live. But if anything becomes broken, don’t expect it to be fixed quickly. We still have washers/dryers that have been out of use for months.
This is a terrible place to live, they are terrible at taking maintenance requests and never fix anything-just cover it up for now. Water is always getting shut off. Cockroaches are a constant. The management is rude when you call them and packages get stolen regularly. To talk to someone you have to go through the large office and rarely gets anything done at the local building office.
I appreciate the apartments, the clean environment, but the maintenance services are very slow, not on time.
Courtyard apartments are great! They have good spacious layouts and maintenance is very responsive. Office staff are amazing!
The office is never open. Maintenance requests are ignored. The property is covered in trash, there are no caretakers. The property manager is rude and unprofessional. The apartments are disgusting. When I moved in, my apartment was filthy. There are roaches. DO NOT RENT HERE. Packages are always stolen.
Poor maintenance, & there's no cap on the rent, which constantly keep increasing.
I called and left messages and sent multiple emails requesting an appointment to tour a room and never heard back from anyone. Guess they don’t need business.
Only 2 good maintenance guys that work here. They take a long time getting things fixed.
Terrible with maintenance requests. I definitely would not recommend living here. Terrible quality of fixing things before residents move in. I have lived here almost 3 years, we pay our rent every month and the least they could do is ACTUALLY FIX things that are broken. Obviously they do not care about keeping their residents they have. Extremely tempted to call the renters association if maintenance requests don't start getting done in a timely fashion.
Courtyard is a nice and quiet community to live at.
Rude. Can never get ahold of anyone. No one EVER in the office. Snotty. Unprofessional. No one likes to work. Not kid friendly. Tell you one thing and they go back on it and do another. Staff lies.
I moved to Courtyard Apartment in March & lived here for almost a year already. Close to renewing my lease and I would say, I think it is a very good start for beginners who are looking to rent. Courtyard & Goldmark is a perfect place if you are moving out for the first time & in need of a home. In general I feel like it is a good location as well. Next to the Highway and easily accessible. I love my unit because it is very quiet here most times & I will totally recommend living here because it would be a perfect opportunity and experience to live here.
Would not recommend, I've been in public housing that was better.

I have enjoyed my eight month stay at Courtyard Apartments, St Louis Park, Minneapolis. No one has ever bothered me, nor have I heard reports of robbery or any illegal activities here. There might be but not that I am aware of since living here. The management is professional and responsive in dealing with my rental or apartment issues. It has been a good place for me so far.
I love my apartment but the parking is terrible and having visitors is worse. Definately need a new system!!!!!!!

Courtyard apartments is under great management and as I lived there I get treated as a family.
management was excellent if it wasn't for Shia and Sam and how attentive they were to my situation i would probably already be looking for another place to live. They were great. Thank you ladies. I love my apartment its roomy and comfortable.
Courtyard will do for now, it really is a lot to pay in rent and utilities for the quality of the apartment and amenities that come with.

I love this apartment. I live the staff at the renter office.
This has got to be the worst rental property around and basically has no one Managing it. There is one rental office person and one maintenance person. The building is very old and run down and with 151 units, there is no way 2 people can effectively address tenant concerns or repairs. The Management company is Goldmark Property Management Services, check their reviews out on Facebook. They rent in other states and have done well collecting terrible reviews about their company. This particular property is so under insulated, you will hear every footstep, every door, every conversation in any unit that shares a wall, ceiling or floor with you. Not to mention how the Winter and Summer Temps effect your living conditions. And yes, they do thrive off of towing tenant vehicles. You never know if you're vehicle will be there in the morning and even if they do end up refunding towing fees, it is still very upsetting to find your car missing when you have to leave for work.
The water is bascially always off..needs to shevel parking lot more on snow dats and put down salt durning snow days.
The office and the maintenance are awesome! They took a good care of us.
The rent is cheap in comparison to the area....that is the only good thing. This place lacks management and attention. The rental office is on site but they don't "manage" anything. If you have a problem with your unit, good luck getting anything fixed. All you get is excuses if you receive a reply at all. Since there is no management being done, the so called rules at the complex are ignored. Screaming unsupervised children run throughout the grounds and buildings, loud music blares and echoes in the courtyard, people are yelling at all hours of the night. If you like to sleep, it's not going to happen much here. Maintenance comes and goes as they please in your unit which is a strict landlord violation. Nothing is ever done on time, nothing gets replaced, the units are terribly run down and there are no amenities except the pool. Dishwashers? Disposals? Storage? Ceiling fans? I'm not aware that these are available in any unit. There is no playground, as mentioned. The parking lot is a mess with potholes, snow removal from the lot is very limited. If it has a chance to melt in a couple weeks, it wont be plowed. Oh, but at 2 and 3 in the morning, the snowblower will be out in the courtyard where it echoes and wakes eveyone up. Not to mention that the people operating the blower and shovels are yelling instructions at each other. decks are filled with all kinds of junk, garbage cans, boxes, couches. It looks like a slum. There is clearly a disregard for the tenants, their comfort, convenience and privacy. Take a drive by the dumpsters and that will tell you plenty....junk strewn all over, no covers on the dumpsters, just nasty! It's a great opportunity to see how neglected and un-cared for this place is. A couple flowers planted here and there do not distract from all of the underlying problems. So happy to be in a new place now that appreciates it's tenants. My guess is this place will be torn down in a year or 2, hence the lack of taking care of it.

My husband and I have been living here for about two weeks and love the apartment so far! It is a pretty good deal and is in a very convenient location. A few frustrations we have had so far is that there is no assigned parking, so we sometimes have to park on the opposite side of the building. Also, utilities are not included and we were not informed of that until as we were signing the move-in documents. However, we are very excited about their pool!
If you are looking for easy access to bus lines, shopping malls, dining, and entertainment,then look no further. This splendid apartment building welcome you to a community that is affordable with well maintained common areas and great management. It has a huge outdoor pool with lounge chairs and tables a place you can call home. It's time to enjoy and relax with the peace of mind of urban living with suburban life.
I been living in the courtyard apartment for about 5 years now. To be honest this place is not the best or the worst place I lived in. If u looking for a good and safe place to leave in I would recommend the courtyard apartments. the room are very big and it close to a lot of store that's also a plus of living in this apartment . They have a great swimming pool for people who like to swim and it clean. they only down thing I don't like about this place is they take way to long time to come fix the ting u need them to fix other wise it is a good place to leave in
I should have anticipated that everyday would have been as glamours as the first when they asked if they could push back my move in date a few days literally two hours before our scheduled move in. At the time we were loading our U haul, and considering we had a 8 month daughter we couldn't just crash on someones couch so we moved in at a discounted rate (for that month). The apt was uncleaned and had fruit flies. From that day forward they only continued to prove that they have a poor management team and an even less attentive maintenance. The water is turned off hours at a time almost once a week and most times without notice. This is not a place for families, but maybe better off for a younger renter getting started. As much as I love the area as well as its convenient location next the the highway and uptown I would not recommend this location to anyone due to my personal experience.
The location is nice, nice people, i really like the space.
I been at this unit for 3 months .I love it. the only thing is that they turn off the water too often. but is okay still love it.
Apartment is located within reason of shopping and the bus. I don't have a car and it is convenient for the two school for my son (1st grade) and daughter (10th grade). I only work part time so it is a struggle to get rent together and it has all the amenities for the kids. Has good staff.
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT! VERY GHETTO AREA, NOT SAFE, NOT CLEAN, VERY NOISY! I HAD TO CALL THE COPS THE OTHER NIGHT AT 1 AM, DISRESPECTFUL NEIGHBORS THINK THAT ITS OK TO START A FIST FIGHT AND WAKE EVERYONE UP. GO LOOK UP ALL REVIEWS BEFORE CONSIDERING ON LIVING HERE. GREAT LOCATION BUT NOT THE IDEAL ENVIRONMENT TO LIVE IN!
