Property Ratings at Covenant Crossing
I moved here in April 2018, and I feel grateful that I found this place! My experience has been very different from those listed earlier. My building & my apartment (a 1-bedroom) is clean and modern and comfortable. The rent is affordable, and the location is great! Close to everything I need, including access to all parts of Nashville. The staff is helpful and professional. Ms. Graciela helped me with every step so I could sign a lease and move in. I have plenty of parking, and the place is always quiet (muy tranquilo!) The day I moved in, I dropped my wallet in the parking lot without realizing it. Someone found it and returned it to the office, & Ms. Graciela notified me before I even knew it was missing. Not sure how many places this would happen, but it was a sign of good luck for me! If you are quiet, responsible, and a good neighbor, I would recommend considering this place!
Property Manager at Covenant Crossing, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your nice review! We are happy to see that you are enjoying living here! If you have any concerns you are welcome to stop by office any time!
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I don't even know where to start. The office does not care about its residents. There are multiple problems and you have to stay on them, pretty much harass them, in order for anything to be fixed. The pool was open for three weeks this year. Opened a month late because they were "working on it" then closed a month early for no reason. Our air conditioner was out in the middle of June for THREE WEEKS. We had to visit the office several times to remind them. The maintenance man came each day and worked on it for about an hour then left. Then he went on vacation without saying anything to us or the office. Part of the roof is falling down outside and it has been there for months, we don't even care anymore. Our ceiling fell in above the shower. Again, multiple visits to the office before anything was done. Now the water pressure is next to nothing. Our current problems that have been about a week unaddressed are: water pressure/shower head leaking, stovetop and oven doesn't work, and the best part of it all: the entire complex is bed bug infested. I have bites all over my body and I have seen a few other residents with them as well. There is always furniture at the dumpster. And, conveniently, the new lease had a bed bug clause stating that any bed bugs found from now on will be paid for by tenants. This place sucks all around. I wish I could afford to leave.
This used to be a really nice complex, with great management but since the new management company has taken over, things have gone downhill. They marked a section of walkway with yellow caution tape, that's been there almost 2 months. There is a hole in the ceiling of the hallway of our building, looks almost like someone from upstairs fell through, it's been over a month with no repair--they're "working on it." Last year the pool was open at the end of April, this year--June 23rd.We're overrun with wasps and there's been no noticeable attempt to control the problem. We used to get regular pest control but now we have to request it. The complex is quiet, and tenants are friendly, but the management seems to smile and get nothing done. The best person at the complex is the maintenance man--he is terrific!
