With sprawling residential neighborhoods, a wide variety of schools, and a bustling central commercial district, Springfield is a spectacular place to call home in the suburbs of Ohio. Situated about 25 miles northeast of Dayton and the Dayton International Airport, and 45 miles west of Columbus, residents of this popular suburb have access to big cities, transportation hubs, and even the capital of Ohio.
Housing Wittenberg University and Clark State Community College, Springfield is a diverse city with over 40 different neighborhoods, each with its own unique character, including two historic districts. Historic homes area spread throughout the community, including Frank Lloyd Wright’s Westcott House, a former architect, that’s become a historical landmark from the early 1900s.

Property Ratings at Coventry Village
The two negative reviews below are from people who were kicked out of the complex for bad behavior. I’ve lived here for six years and have not experienced any of the conditions listed below. There are numerous inaccuracies in the so-called “details” of the reviews, including the gender of the staff they claimed to have interacted with. This is a great place to live and the neighbors are usually fantastic. Can’t help a few bad eggs. Oh well.
Plumbing is miserable. Lived for a year and had food and just gunk come up my bathroom sink monthly. The only thing they did would use plunger to unclog it and go about their business. Then sharing the boiler for hot water would leave you in a shower that would fluctuate from ice cold to burning hot. Requested to have the outlets replaced and it took months and multiple phonecalls. The main maitenence guy was rude. A newsletter over the summer said we would have new mailboxes but it never happened. Also said we would get assigned storage, but never received labels for the units. Also the one that had an old label for my apartment had a Christmas tree in it which was there since I moved in. Carpet was clean when I left and we wanted to look through the apartment with the landlord but countless times I stopped by the office during business hours and no one would be there. So they charged me $70 to clean the carpet One guy said it was because of the traffic areas, he was rude and would not give us his last name, as he was filling in for the normal landlord. He proceeded to defend the charge by saying they did not charge me for replacing the stove, when the stove was cracked when I moved in and that thing is older than me. It would've been a joke if they did charge me for it. When we said we had pictures, a hire up said it was because of pet smell in the closet. Which was not true because the closet was never open and my cat was neutered as a kitten has never sprayed. It's the only excuse they can make because I can't take pictures of smell. The deposit you put down for your pet isn't a pet deposit, it's a "pet license fee" , so their lease is worded so you must pay for anything and everything.
I have been here almost a year and have never had a hot shower just cold ones. They have one hot water heater per building with 12 apartments sharing it. You'll get 30 seconds to 1 minute of hot water for a shower and the rest is cold. The maintenance staff will tell you not to put food down the disposal, and not to put pots and pans in the dishwasher so that they don't have to fix it (or to incompetent to fix it). I have had maintenance in my apartment without my knowledge also. I have gotten home from work to find stuff moved in my bedroom. I have small cameras that have identified the maintenance staff as the people in there.
