Property Ratings at Covington Greens Apartments
We rented a 2 bdr at Covington Greens for 6 months between 12/19 to 06/20. When we left, the property manager - Debbie did not return our full security deposit and charged a large sum $700 for damages/paint, etc. When asked for proof, she sent us pictures from another apartment. When confronted to her that the pictures are not from our apartments, she stopped taking our calls and blocked my number and not responding to text messages either. Debbie was incredibly rude and hung up on us. We are moving to the small claims court as we are not getting any response from the property. This is a huge pain and I would recommend future renters to avoid this property. The property management is very bad and would make your stay a terrible experience.
New management is not doing a very good job. Snow is not cleared from apartment making it really hard to even walk . Roads and sidewalks are slippery and not safe to walk. Even complaining is not working.Apartment looks very shabby. Most of the time there will be no one to answer the calls. Making it really difficult to live here.
I put in an application to rent an apartment in Covington Greens, once I was approved, I put down my deposit in advance of moving in. Circumstances changed which caused me to change my mind and I notified the office prior to occupying the apartment, I NEVER MOVED IN AND 2 MONTHS LATER I'M STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO RETURN MY DEPOSIT. Repeated phone calls receive the a-typical response the check is in the mail... Guess what, it still hasn't arrived. I've asked for the phone number to the main office and I'm told they won't tell me anything different. This is ridiculous! I'M ONLY GIVING THEM 1 STAR BECAUSE THE APPLICATION FORCES IT, otherwise they would get 0.

Absolutely loved living at Covington Greens for the 4 months that I did before I was relocated for work. I had a 1br/1bath apartment that was absolutely pristine upon taking ownership of the unit. I learned that all the units receive a fresh coat of paint and a professional carpet cleaning before they release it to tenants. The units have extremely nice features that are very maintained extremely well. Covington Greens is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, but has quick and easy access to almost everything you need to do in Findlay. The pricing is extremely favorable compared to other places in the same area. From what I've read, several users have had negative experiences with the manager. I have to say I find this very hard to believe. She was very friendly in every interaction I've ever had and even followed up with me on several questions I had after moving out. I have to believe some of these reviews are generated by people who have had little to no interaction with Diane. You have to understand she is the only person managing the needs of every resident at Covington Greens, and in my opinion, she does an incredible job of remembering the details of all the accounts she handles. On once occasion, I was about to pay extra rent when I did not need to. Diane had gone through my account to ensure everything was correct and had noticed that I forgot about the $100 credit being applied to my rent from the holding fee. In fact, every time I went into the main office to pick up a package, Diane asked me how I was and made sure every aspect of my apartment was up to my standards. I really appreciate this attention to detail. On another occasion, Diane stayed in the office well past the posted closing hours for me just so I could pick up a package before I left town on a weekend trip. You don't get that from a manager who "could be upgraded". Maintenance is timely and professional at Covington Greens. I never had any issues, but when they needed to check on something or replace an air filter, I was notified in advance. I never had an issue with snow removal at all. If I'm ever relocated back to Findlay for work, Covington Greens is the first place I will call if I decide to rent again.
Me and my fiancé lived here for over two years, maintenance was fantastic he was always willing to fix anything that broke day or night. The rooms were all decent sizes and the walls were thick as well couldn't really hear anyone else. Manager could be upgraded she could be very rude when dealing with her, if you don't need to deal with her your fine but when you had to talk to her she could be hard to deal with. Other than that great apartments!
I recently visited the community to inquire about an apartment. The community was well kept, clean and quiet and very welcoming! The Manager of Covington Greens was extremely helpful both on the phone and in person. Looking forward to renting an apartment in the near future.
We lived at CG for over a year and it was definitely worth it. The quality and condition of the apartment was top-notch, as it also held its privacy with neighbors very well. Everything maintained its durability and you didn't feel like you were going to break anything just from opening it up. Finally, if any issues did happen, maintenance was great about getting it handled very quickly. While we noticed this very much while we were there, we have since moved to a bigger city and the comparison is very noticeable. Not only are we paying more money, the quality of the overall experience is far less. We definitely miss CG!
I was able to transition from one home to another very smoothly thanks to Diane and her Staff. The 3 bdrm apartment I rented for almost a year was exactly what my children and I needed. The utilities were very reasonable; the amenities were great...pool in the summer was perfect for the kids! Diane, the office manager, was always available when I needed her and was able to correct any issue I had, within hours of it being reported.Wheni arrived, the apartment was freshly painted, cleaned extrememly well and ready to move in. The entire complex was always kept neat and tidy in terms of landscape and parking lots. I truly loved my stay at Covington Greens and hope you find their services as enjoyable as mine!
this place needs new management. i thought i was the only one to think the manager was rude to me, but looking on the internet for reviews over this apartment complex i came to find many people have written reviews about this woman. i will for sure will be calling the 888 number.
The apartments are nice and the property is well taken care of. We had good neighbors and believe the rent was reasonable priced. Unfortunately, the apartment manager is unprofessional and tends to treat the residents as if she were babysitting them rather than renting to them.
