Property Ratings at Crabtree Crossing Apartments and Townhomes
Lived in this community for 2 years, never had a late payment but when the time came for me to leave because of my move to another state, the experience was horrible. They changed the notice period from 30 days to 60 days without proper intimation to residents. I went to office to notify them about my leaving, the person in office asked me to wait to talk to manager. Went to office 3 times but manager was never available. They did not even honor the first date when I went to them because I did not give a written notice. Manager was not helpful at all and simply stated that this is legal. Ended up paying 1.5 months extra rent.
This place is awful. The house was falling apart and they refused to repair anything. We had to buy our own appliances because they were broken down and never repaired. While we lived there I met many very unhappy neighbors, and I watched many of them move away and saying that the office manager made sure that they could not buy a home. In fact, that is what she did to us. She refused to give us a rent payment history without a 30 day notice to vacate. This is illegal. The mortgage company we were working with told us to report it, which we did. However management was not interested. One of the other comments here say "don't disagree with office staff"...very true. I witnessed one of the residents almost attacking the office manager once. I am not surprised. She had a way of treating people like garbage. Other office workers don't stay there longer than a few months in general. There is a very high turn over of office staff, apart from the manager. She was vindictive, and she stopped at nothing. She lied about just about everything. Also, don't fall for the advertised home sizes. The largest homes are not all living space that they advertise. Apart from the house literally falling apart, and awful office staff, the place is well located. That's about the only positive point about this place.
I love the complex. It's family friendly, clean, peaceful, bright and affordable. I moved from NY and was generally concerned about security. My friend lived in the complex and I fell in love after my first visit. The management office is knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. I also enjoy the events for the residents, such as pizza night, bagel days, or cupcake weekends. I'm happy hear and hope to stay for quite some time.
I lived in the place for four years. I stayed that long only because of the location. The staff is fine as long as you do not disagree with them. If you do, oh boy watch out, you will definitely see the darker side...... The maintenance staff was okay. I never saw GREAT work done. Not a bad place, I did like how quiet the neighborhood was. Just did not like that office staff!!!
I recently went to this community to check out townhomes. I found the office staff is cooperative and friendly. The rents are quite reasonable for a townhome in Morrisville that is conveniently located with respect to the schools and shopping. The townhomes are decent sized but are not spacious - i found them a little squeezed with one another. The maintenance especially for the common area between townhomes was a little bothering. The living room opens to a common ground and there are little swamps here and there leading to mosquitoes and other insects coming inside.
