Property Ratings at Cranberry Woods Townhomes
Frist apt they showed us cockroaches spray painted over floor felt unstable unlivable for free more less what they charge. 2nd apartment was livable and we were desperate. Dishwasher stunk like a sewage and leaked every few days black mold in the freezer into the ice dispenser. Nasty air vents sinus issues every time we usedit even after i boughtan air purifierand vent filters. Wind blows through closed windows the few that shut which makes a $200 electric bill with nothing on but heater. Everything is an extra charge water trash bug spraying short term lease your rent will be at leat $150 more then they say mine was over $200. Blinds where fragile and braking, corner of floor falling in. Dirty floor and dog hair every Crack. Over all the worst apt I ever lived in ran after 3 months when lease was up. Left apt cleaner then move in day and they still kept my deposit. I can list enough hopefully help someone from making the same mistakes. Just remember cockroachs, mold, and they try to drain your bank account
There is not enough time to read everything that went wrong with this place but do know that they left us stranded on move in day, after approval, after lots of money paid up front, after they moved the date we could move in back by nearly two weeks. They then after we complained about everything they had put us though and all the money it had costed us to wait an extra two weeks to move in (think nearly 2k) they said that since so much had gone wrong on there end we would not be able to be happy there and gave the apartment to someone on there waiting list. One of the ladies who run the place was bragging about how the tenants think she is the devil and laughing about how one tenant said she is the face of the devil. The other (there is only two) will not answer or return your calls when you are trying to move into the place. ALSO the homes are smoked in and right next to a highway so if noise and smell dont bother you, then unfortunately you still have to deal with the terrible management.
Office polite. Maintenence response is asap. Clean & quiet. Can't hear neighbors.

We’re thrilled to see your outstanding five-star rating!!
Way to many people selling drugs that live in these apartments. If you have apartments issues it takes maintenance FOREVER to fix something. The basketball court has goose/duck poop on it daily, never cleaned. And there’s dog poop everywhere. Also the hot tub is always broke!!!’n Don’t let these ppl fool you! They make it sound like it’s lovely to live here when it’s NOT!!!! Trust me! All they want is your money to hit their budget, they don’t care about anything else!!! Run far away from here!!!

We are sorry to hear you’ve had such a poor experience at Cranberry Woods. I would like to speak with you further regarding your concerns as we value your feedback. Please reach out to me at nbaynes@sweetwaterpm.com.
I would not recommend Cranberry Woods. My wife and I lived there for two years and were not impressed. Their management team is unprofessional and simply rude. This is not just an experience we encountered, but many of the people who lived near us also had the same experience. When we moved in, the house reeked of cigarettes and we had to pay to get the house “smoke bombed” by a hazard cleaning team to eliminate the smell. When we told management about the odor, they did nothing to make it right. The carpets were also disgusting. They claimed they were cleaned prior to our move-in. But I highly doubt it since the house smelled like a grungy bar. Many times, it took two and three requests for them to take action on simple tasks. We had mold growing in the walls/ceiling in our bathroom. We submitted an online request that was never fulfilled until we asked a maintenance man personally to come over. They looked at it and said it’s mold and left. A few weeks passed and we emailed the property manager that no action has been taken, she said it would be handled but they never darkened our door. Our electric bill was also sky high and rent prices did not reflect the outdated appliances and overall look of the unit. The maintenance men were the only ones who were accommodating. But I believe they are poorly managed. I can assure you, the house was nicer when we left, compared to the way we found it. I would not recommend Cranberry Woods unless you’re willing to pay astronomical prices for a very subpar place to live.
Last year the pool didn’t open until the end of June and this year it looks like the pool may not open at all. The hot tub hasn’t worked since 2005.

Thank you for your review, we appreciate all feedback. It's true there have been mechanical issues with the pool for a few summers. This is why we have hired a contractor to completely renovate the pool this season. We're giving him our full cooperation and hope to have it open as soon as possible. We sincerely appreciate your patience.
The pool that is advertised everywhere online has not been opened. When asked about the pool, management said it was the renters fault for getting things stuck in the drainage and it will be thousands of dollars to fix. The truth is the managers of this property left water in the pool the fall, winter, and spring before last....which anyone knows will cause major major issues. It's a me versus you mentality on behalf of management everytime a concern or maininenence issue is raised. The playground has nails sticking out of it for the children.

We appreciate your review, all feedback is welcomed. We know that it's disappointing the pool isn't open and that we've had issues with it for a while. That's exactly why we've hired a contractor to completely renovate it this season. We admit we leave water in the pool, it's standard procedure when closing an inground concrete pool to drain the water below the skimmers. This prevents the plumbing from freezing and bursting and keeps the concrete pool itself from cracking during winter. Unfortunately, that wasn't always done before we took over management and it's contributed to the issues we're dealing with today. We strive to provide the best amenities and property to our residents, which is why we've added a fitness center, are renovating the pool and will have the property re-paved this summer. No one has reported any issues with the playground to us, but we'll have it fully inspected today. Thank you again for your feedback, we hope to have the opportunity to change your opinion.
