Hi, thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Cranbrook Hills Apartments!
First off I would just like to start off by saying this apartment looks nice and all and you got space don’t get me wrong but it’s literally not worth it. Either they rebuild this place or shut it down because I’ve been going on for months about a mice problem and they haven’t even done anything resourceful to solve it. Time after time after time they come and do absolutely nothing. Second they always change the locks for no reason and then on top of that have the audacity to charge you with a damage fee because you need a new key from THEM changing the locks. Does that make sense no it literally doesn’t. On top of that how are you going to tell me before I move in that’s it’s a brand new apartment and that no one has lived in it before when CLEARLY I can tell someone has been here before. Worst advertisement team. I have asthma and I’ve been complaint about the ceiling being CRACKED and that dust is coming through and is triggering my asthma and yet I have not heard anything from them about coming to fix it and if I end up in the hospital because of my asthma attacks there’s nothing they can do to solve the situation. I tried to end my lease early they tried charging me 3,000 dollars just to end it off a month before my lease renewed. Are you serious? I’ve never want to bash any place like this but this one deserves it. WORST PLACE EVER

There is no one I live near that would give this place a 5-star review. It has to be the complex themselves. My neighbors and I all agree on how awful this place is. Uninhabitable tbh... It should honestly be condemned and is a health hazard. Mice infested, bed bugs, safety hazards. The infrastructure is so bad I can hear my downstairs neighbor's phone vibrate. VIBRATE! I can hear everyone's TV at all times. I can tell you their morning routines and conversations... There is no playground or game room as stated. The laundry machines in the laundry room are broken more than they actually work. Cars have been getting broken into and once nightfall hits there's someone coming up to your car to beg for money or ask for a ride somewhere. Emergency maintenance is a joke. Not even regular maintenance comes to your building unless you report the complex and then they're super rude most of the time. Getting in touch with any sort of manager is a lost cause. No one calls you back. Your a/c breaks at least once a year and takes them about a week to fix at the fastest! They're very sneaky in how they renew your lease so you're stuck paying extra money to leave or living there another year. My apartment has mold and a water leak they have yet to fix... The so called locked doors to each building are either porpped open regularly or broken so they do not close. So there's no feeling of security while living here. I have never lived anywhere so bad before in my life and for the life of me have no clue how they are still in business... Please, please look at how bad and the same all of the bad reviews are and RUN in the other direction to almost anywhere else...

Turn around and don't look back. You will hear everything your neighbor does. The only insulation between you and the adjacent apartments are the colonies of mice living inside the walls. In the summer you will be awoken each night by the horrendous rumbling sound of the AC. Good luck sleeping. Management has shown no initiative in solving anything. It feels like they expect you to move out so they can continue their revolving door of tenants. Nobody cares about your problems here, and you will have plenty of them. Avoid avoid avoid!

The apartment management team and landlord does minimal to fix pest issues that's why the mice never leave. Apartment has holes although the unit. Once you sign your lease it is very hard to end your term. The sound quality is the worse ...you hear your neighbors full conversations and activities!

Maintenance has no problem coming out and fixing these as urgently as needed ! They take precautions in everything they do and I cannot wait to renew my lease and possibly move into a 2 bedroom !

I have been trying to transfer to another location within the company but the process has be so delayed. It has already been more than a month and still they say they have to do bed bugs inspection and the management will let me know about the decision. They will try to please you so hard if you are not a tenant but an existing tenant is not handled in a proper care. Poor poor management and the way they take care of their customer.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with your visit.
Dear future resident turn around and keep looking, I have way too many yellow tickets for maintenace to fix then I'd like to admit. Moving in I was patient and gave them time to fix, but in order to actually have things corrected I had to call it in multiple times before they actually acted on it. 1. I had no closet pole for almost 2 months, 2. holes in the wall from previous tenant, which they wouldn't fix until specified when all you had to do was open your eyes and look in general area I specified, 3. unwelcomed maintenace calls coming into my apartment 4. leaving the lights or air on or 5. door unlocked to fix the constant door buzzard (one main reason for moving in was 6. security of the door, but it's constantly broken and unsafe) or checking something I did not call in. As a single female that is unaaceptable and quite scary. I had to constantly complain about the 7. schreeching noise in my shower which after maybe 3 months was finally fixed correctly once I was forced to write to management to fix, which was delayed. After that was fix they left 8. black spots all over the tub so had to call that in to be fixed and had to be out of the apartment for some time again which was very inconvenient. Last, but not least, 9. I now have a mice problem. I have slight OCD and am a really clean person, so this is unacceptable and disgusting. I have mice traps all over my kitchen (embarrasing) and have caught one so far, but saw another. 10. I called 3 times for maintenance to pull the appliances and check behind. I knew they were not checked the first 2 times due to I had traps in front and they had not been moved, until I was home when maintenace came and he said yes, there were a few holes to fill in the kitchen and under my bathroom sink. I'm probably forgetting a few things as it has been ove time I have had to call maintenance countless times for something repeatedly and it sucks. I just want to live happily ever after in peace, but due to my unwelcome guests, I'm paranoid. Bugs are not so much the issue, but I have had a few critters, but the vaccuum works just fine for those. At this point, I would never recommend and can not wait for my lease to be up. I would never subject anyone to how hendersonwebb runs their maintenace. Mind you I moved in in May, it has only been 5 months with all of these issues. I hope this helps in making your decesion. The only positive are quiet and nice neighbors.

We rented a one bedroom apt and our first impression was a bad one. Collete in the rental office was rude and pushy. I specifically asked to pick up my keys when she was off to avoid her. My next experience was when I saw stains on the carpet in every room. I asked to have the carpet cleaned and no one ever came. For the duration of our stay, it seemed as if maintenance was always in our apartment while we were gone with little or no notice. Once, maintenance and the exterminator came to see if we had pests. They walked through the apartment and barely looked. Not even a week later, we had mice. We informed the rental office and called maintenance about the issue and nothing was done. We spent about $40-$50 on traps and pest control devices. We also saw a few roaches during our stay. We never had them anywhere else we have lived and they came even after I sprayed home defense on every wall of the apt. The walls are paper thin and you can hear full conversations next door. Neighbors also party on weekends and smoke weed throughout the week. The hall was completely smoked out multiple times. The hall is also always steamy and humid from the laundry room door being open and the lack of ventilation. The electricity switches for each apartment are in the laundry room and numerous times someone has turned them off in the middle of the night. The maintenance crew takes up half the parking spots in the parking lot, they double park and they park in handicapped spots with no placard. The rent is cheap but Hendersen-Webb sucks and we have been looking forward to the end of the lease the entire time. We have friends and family members who live in their other communities around Maryland who have all the same complaints I've made here.

Hello, thank you for your kind words and this wonderful review!
Henderson Webb's Barrett's Delight aprts are great for families/couples/friends with low budgets but who still want quality. With aprts between 900-1200 and large open living rooms and dining rooms, you can live comfortably with a roommate or two and pay less then $500 a month. The newer aprts have very good climate control and with internet provided by Comcast, your utility bills are also going to be affordable. Carpeted floors and a breakfast bar encircling the kitchen plus a bathroom that can be split between the shower/toilet and mirror/sink means that you and your SO or roommates will be comfortable and able to share the space with a minimum of fuss.
