I’ve been living here for 2 years. And the only reason I’m still here is because it’s the most affordable place in the area. This place is too overpriced and has some really outdated appliances. On the bright side, maintenance is on top of everything. My a/c has broken down a few times at night and they send someone out in less than 30 minutes which is nice. I guess I could say it’s an okay place to live but if you can afford it, go somewhere else.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever in my life had with an apartment complex. If I could give negative stars I would. We got an apartment 2 months before we moved from Texas to Florida. 2 MONTHS!!! They knew the exact day we were going to be there and we drove all the way from Texas to Florida to get there and the apartment was not ready. So we went elsewhere to get an apartment! We dodged a bullet from their mess up!!! Now here we are almost a month later and I literally just spent 30 minutes on hold trying to speak with someone about getting our deposit back. I have called at least one time a week every week since our non move in date!!! And they say the same thing the check has been mailed or it will be mailed!!! Please be smart read all the reviews take them to heart with this place! Keep looking do not live here!!!
They are very inresponsible Office staff are very rude. Maintenance come whenever they feel like coming they have very old kitchen appliances they don't have half of the things you see in there website i'm Only been living here for four months and that's my point of view...
Going into the main office is all you need to determine this is not the place for you. The staff obviously receives no customer service skill training let alone training on apartment management. In talking to current tenants, apparently the staff turn over quicker than the tenants, even the manager is new every few months. Drove 3 hours to visit the apartment last Sunday, only to find that as of that Sunday, they no longer have Sunday hours...even though I call a few days in advance to check, When I finally did get to speak to an office person, their responses were short and unhelpful. When I asked to speak to a manager, the response was a short, "she is not here today." When will she be in? "Not sure." They just seem to only know how to do one thing. Have you sign a lease and get your money. Couldn't even get a tour of the place.. I left and signed a lease elsewhere that same day. Don't bother stopping here, unless you want to witness non-professionals at their worst.
Everything is outdated by many, many years. Office staff can never locate your file...but they'll still take your money. They seem ver clueless, and always have to ask the manager, whose attitude is just sign the lease and take their $. Not sure what the maintenance people do, if there are such people. Managers change every other month. The bus stop out front is a better place.
You'll be paying a ridiculous amount of money for a 1970s apartment. Also I think the maintenance and office staff are mentally handicapped.
When I moved in everything was good carpet spotless. A lot of living space for the price. Only thing is the kitchen appliance little old but it works can't complain.
The apartment itself is great. There are a few maintenance issues but overall not a bad place to live.
I have been living at Cranes Landing for almost two months now and I can't say I'm overly satisfied but I also can't say I'm not happy with my apartment. Me and my partner moved here from Georgia, and Cranes Landing made the transition relatively easy for us. The office staff is nice but not the most orgaized, twice our move in date got delayed due to tenants deciding to renew their lease however the office staff accommodated us as best they could. Upon moving in the unit was clean and had no major issues, however the sink was leaking and the 2nd bedroom door was a little off it's hinges. The maintenance staff is the one serious problem with this complex, they came and fixed the sink and door, when they did we mentioned that our stove had a heating plate that wouldn't heat above medium, that our bathroom towel rack was lopsided, and that we wanted them to install two ceiling fans. Maintenance said they would be back the next day but never showed, a few days later we saw them working on another tenants a/c when they saw us they apologized and said they would come that night, but yet again they never came, so we did it ourselves. The community here is nice and wide variety of people, however I wish the complex would do some kind of social events, having come from out of state making some friends or getting to know our neighbors would definitely make living here a lot more enjoyable. Overall I am happy with my apartment and I have faith that in time it will only get better.
Average sizes and prices. Cant complain. Pool and areas are kept tidy and neighbors were pleasant. In a nice part of Winter Park with grocery stores and plazas just five minutes away as well as being a short drive to major colleges and universities like UCF, Valencia, and Fullsail. Pleasant experience in total.
Even though I live in an apartment it is still my home. Some would say a temporary home. But I have lived in the same place for 2 and 1/2 years. And yes the rent has gone up but that is to be expected. There is local bus transportation at complex entrance and good stores to walk to ,if you need to. They check the fire alarms without setting them off to disturb everyone. I work on the night shift and this is basically quiet area during the day. I only gave 4 stars as having lived in apartments 20 years all complexes can and do need improvements from time to time. Like all the new paint,roofs and other exterior upgrades recently to where I live.
