The South Side of Corpus Christi is considered one of the prime residential neighborhoods of this industrious port city. With a great deal of new construction in the neighborhood, people are attracted to it because of the newer homes with updated amenities.
Those who love the outdoors find plenty to be excited about on the South Side, with Corpus Christi Bay and Oso Bay mere blocks away and the beaches of Mustang and Padre Islands just over a bridge. Low housing costs and friendly neighbors go a long way to making the South Side an attractive place to live.

Property Ratings at Crane's Landing
Dont live here! Management..maria tober is a horrible person. My husband was maintenance there and did a good job. After he left people still call him for help. She has run what was a pleasant place to live into hell on earth. Go anywhere but here!
Been here a full year & only thing I like is the 2 pools and some neighbors. Management team sucks and they're rude. Every month I pay my bills early or on time but anytime I need maintenance done or need a question answered they move at their own speed ( usually a week or two later ). The answering service workers are also rude as well and all around the complex can all use some communication training.
great place to live with two pools ,great staff all the way around, stores are close by very nice neighborhood and good schools
My family and I are coming to the end of a one year rental period on our apartment, and have come to have extremely mixed feelings on our experience here (though mostly bad). The complex holds some of the best rates in Corpus Christi, is within a block of the Highway for a speedy commute, and has a great maintenance staff who are always quick to solve any issues you may have. Unfortunately though, there are always issues. From having our bedroom window busted out from a rug thrown out from the floor above us (while I was sitting 2 feet away...) to a busted pipe that flooded our apartment and a few of the surrounding neighbors. The water damage repairs took over a week, and the outside company hired was extremely unprofessional; leaving dry-wall dust EVERYWHERE: in our food, coffee machine, and my daughters toys (needless to say, they had to be thrown in the trash). My biggest peeve, was that the office staff (very hard to deal with during these "mishaps") gave a copy of our apartment key to the company hired to clean up the mess, and they, on several occasions, let themselves into our apartment without even having knocked (we were asleep in the bedroom). Being a father and a husband, my family's safety is a top priority, and our key was given to third-party strangers without our knowledge, who let themselves in whenever they want. No one from the complex stayed with them (or were even there to let them in) to insure our safety and that of our property. In turn, when trying to resolve the issue, we were treated as if it was a ludicrous complaint. Supposedly they had resolved the issue, but afterwards the man from the third-party company STILL had our key and was STILL entering our apartment. In all, for a single adult or a young couple looking for a cheap apartment you may want to give Cranes Landing a try (if you have the patience to make sure they are not walking all over you), but for a family looking to settle in, NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE.
These apartment would be better if it had a terrace.
