National publications constantly place Pittsburgh near the top of the list for most livable cities in America, and it’s easy to see why. The city has a rich history as an industrial and economic hub, which led to the construction of many grand buildings and public sculptures which still stand today. Downtown in particular is rich with beautifully preserved buildings and lush public parks dating back well over a century, giving the entire community a timeless atmosphere.
Pittsburgh is split into three sections by the rivers passing through the city: Downtown (a.k.a. “The Golden Triangle), the North Side, and the South Side. Each has its fair share of attractions and landmarks: the North Side is home to Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park (making it a perfect area for sports fans), the South Side features big, beautiful greenways and refurbished steel mills, and Downtown is where you’ll find the most variety in dining, nightlife, and entertainment.

Property Ratings at Crawford Square Apartments
Can only speak to about the apartments, but I have been living here for a year and it has been miserable. It is a shame because these are some pretty nice apartments. Noise is the biggest issue here. The floors are paper thin and you will hear everything your upstairs neighbor does. Even worse if they have toddler... running and jumping all day and night... so good luck getting any sleep. Students and professionals who need to wake up early should avoid. Owners and security admit this is a common issue... I have had other issues with them late at night as well like loud music, floodings, etc. Owners did nothing about it and I don't think they ever will judging off past reviews I have read. Police have been to my building on multiple occasions. I do not think it was anything dangerous, but that may bother some people. The only good thing about Crawford Square is the maintenance team. They respond quickly and are extremely nice. There is also an emergency crew who can respond to those late night floods haha! Jokes aside, they are awesome. I am sure security is great too. It sounds like they deal with a lot. It may have just of been my experience and losing the upstairs neighbor lottery, but I really do not think it is worth the risk and the money. I urge everyone to look elsewhere. There are better locations and you can save the angsty reviews at 1AM for another day! I need to buy earplugs...
