6702 APT H I have loved living here the past 2 years and will continue for another year. Unfortunately we will be only staying another year due to the rising price of the apartments. Being so close to downtown the price makes sense, however there’s a few things that don’t make it worth the price. First being no water softeners. The hard water is hard to live with in terms of hair and skin care, drinking water, and other things. It stains everything. We’ve had to buy products for every faucet and shower head to somewhat reduce the hard water issues. That’s the only issue we’ve really come across. Otherwise the safety and community and Creek bay is great. We feel safe living here and the apartments are beautiful. There are some things that could be upgraded but that’s anywhere you live. I think the management team and maintenance staff are amazing. They’re respectful and very helpful. Thank you!

A great place to live. As a 2 year resident, I have found the Creek Bay community to be a great place to live. The housing units consist of 8 apartments, spacious, and clean. Several units have a pond view and the leasing department keeps the wild geeses under control. Fur babies are welcomed and residents are good at keeping their fur babies on leases and managing the cleanliness of the grounds. Its always good to see evening walkers and everyone is friendly. Our Leasing and maintenance crew are 5 stars. The staff, they get the job done. Also, Muesing Property Management are always at work. In the 2 years that I've lived here, Muesing has repaved the parking lot, replaced damaged screens for screen in porches, painted the exteriors of the units and carports. Also, the groundkeepers do a great job keeping the complex looking beautiful. Here's to say, living at Creek Bay Apts. is a good investment and a great place to call your home.

We moved here from Bend, Oregon in October 2021. Even before we arrived here, the Managers or Creek Bay Apartments, were helping us to get into our apartment. They were in constant contact with us before we arrive here and after our arrival. Our friends that are living in Indianapolis found our apartment for us. We could not have been happier with their choice for our new home. We have been here going on 3 years and we couldn't be happier. Anything that needed work on it in our apartment, was taken care of immediately. There has always been great and friendly communication with Lisa and Chris. Justin and Dustin are very efficient and friendly when they performed maintenance on our "home". Anyone looking for a new home, we would highly recommend Creek Bay Apartments. Lisa, Chris, Justin and Dustin are here to serve you.

Very neat and clean environment to live in
Living at Creek Bay was a very pleasant experience! The only reason we left was for family issues that required us to move. The maintenance staff was always prompt and professional. The leasing office associates were polite and friendly. I highly recommend this complex to those searching for a nice place to live. Well done, Creek Bay!
I lived at Creek Bay for just over 2 years in a 2 bed/ 1 bath apartment. The location is great and conveniently located near a grocery store, and not far away from Greenwood OR Downtown Indianapolis. In my time there, I didn't experience any safety issues or have any times where I did not feel safe living there. The only downside is that there are train tracks that go right next to the property and come by 1-2 times/day. The units are okay. They have in-unit laundry which was nice. They are clear that they try to keep costs low by fixing things instead of replacing them, but some of the appliances were old/should be replaced with newer/more efficient models, but they still worked. The units are decently-sized and have a layout that works well for 1-2 people to live comfortably, but I don't think there would be enough storage space for many more people than that. The office staff is fine. The office manager, Connie, has been with the property for a while and I have had no problems with her style of managing the property or interacting with residents. The leasing agents were kind and helpful. The maintanence team responded to requests usually within 24 hours. While the work wasn't necessarily the best quality, it did get the issue resolved. For example, I had a door that was sticking and staying closed. The maintenance team used a hammer to push the door frame upwards and cracking the trim, so it didn't look pretty but it fixed the problem. I did have one problem with the unit that they were unable to fix, which was a bit frustrating. I had a couple of times were there were more "emergent" maintenance issues and the maintenance team came to address them promptly (including coming out at 2am in a thunderstorm). Rent did increase rather substantially from my first year to the time I would have signed a lease for the third year, which was a factor in me deciding to move out. When moving out, I moved to a sister property. In the process of moving, the new location had an issue with my unit and I was not able to move when I was supposed to. Luckily, the Creek Bay staff were willing to allow me to stay in my unit there past the time my lease ended so I wasn't scrambling to find a place to live for a few weeks. In the end, this property is not a bad place to live, and I would not urge people away from renting here.
Connie, Austin and maintenance staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. Apartments are cute. Washer/dryer and screened in patios are a lovely benefit. Many apartment locations provide scenic and private views. Highly recommend!

Thank you for the great review. I am happy you enjoyed living at Creek Bay Apartments. The staff is dedicated to making this community a wonderful place to live.
Lived at Creek Bay Apartments for 6 years until we moved out. Its a quiet place surrounded by trees that gives the illusion of being secluded but there's a grocery store, gas stations, and several businesses around the corner. To get to the apartment complex, a vehicle is preferred as the nearest bus stop is US 31 and Banta Rd and isn't shielded from the elements. The apartment was reasonable for a 830 sq/ft 1 bedroom/ 1 bath/ w/ appliances and a screened in porch. We purchased one with a stacked washer/dryer unit in it that had vaulted ceilings in the living room and dining room. Cabinet space in the kitchen and island were decent. The bedroom closest had sliding double-doors used to access it with a long clothing rack to hang your clothes and some shelving in back. There's a sink in the bathroom with decent cabinet space, a coat closet in the hallway, and a storage unit on the patio. The facility was clean when we got it. There are some older appliances in the unit but they still worked fine. If we did experience an issue with an appliance, the staff and the property manager were always friendly and professional. If it could be fixed, it was fixed. If it needed replaced, it was replaced. They also responded in a timely manner fixing any issues we had. Basically, if you take care of the apartment, they take good care of you. There is a train-track located next to the complex but it travels on a limited basis and passes so quick that you honestly tune it out after a while. It was a cozy place and our first apartment. Would go back if we ever needed an apartment again.

Thank you for the great review. We are happy that you enjoyed your time here at Creek Bay Apartments. We can't thank you enough for kind words. Our goal is to make Creek Bay Apartments a wonderful place to call home. Your view let's us know we are doing that.
Maintenance always tries to band aid the issues to be quick and cheap as possible. The office manager, Connie, has poor people skills & seems to genuinely dislike her job. I see reviews about how great she is and I’m baffled because she can’t even keep the same person working with her in the office for more than a few months.
Property Manager at Creek Bay, Responded To This Review
I'm sorry you feel like your maintenance needs were not met. The maintenance staff are very capable and do a good job. I don't think you have been in the office for a while because of the pandemic. I have two people who have been working for me for over a year. If you would like to give me a call, I would be happy to talk to you about your concerns. Thank you.
Time and time again the management here has shown us how truly incompetent they are. It started even before I moved in. The move in documentation that they gave me had the wrong address on it. Had to cancel all of my services I set up (internet, electric, insurance) for the bad address and lost a few deposits. When I talked to the manager Connie about it she just laughed and said it was not her fault. During Christmas there was a random $75 charge on my account. Turns out someone else was given the wrong address too and underpaid my rent. They wanted me to cover the difference and the late fee with it. I told them that was not happening and they eventually dropped it. I hear now from a neighbor that there have been 3 cars that have been broken into the last 3 days. Does management want to let anyone know about it??? OF COURSE NOT! I am just waiting for them to mess up so bad I have a way out of my lease. I really would not recommend renting here at all.
We lived at Creek Bay for 18 months. To say they were terrible doesn’t even describe it. Neighbors above us smoked pot more often than not. Neighbors beside us had dogs barking from one end of the day to the other. The parking spaces were filled with cars that didn’t move, or always had a flat tire. The maintenance people were absolutely terrible and disgusting. After we first moved in, a piece of onion skin ended up in the garbage disposal and we weren’t aware of it. It stopped up the drain. When maintenance came in to fix it, they removed it and set it on a piece of paper towel on our counter stating that the “garbage disposal is not an in-sink trash can.” Fast forward a few months and our hot water heater quit working. They tried to bandaid it, and we went several mornings with no hot water, in the middle of winter, because they wouldn’t replace the 25 year old water heater. They finally replaced it but failed to purge the air out of the water lines, and caused major issues in the apartment. They were lazy and never fixed things when they needed to be. The property manager, Connie, is one of the most rude people we have ever met. When you try and explain an issue, she interrupts you and gives excuses as to why it’s not a problem, I.E. dogs barking, the common hallway smelling like pot, cars parked for months on end and not moving, her excuses were usually “they live here, they’re allowed to.” Most of the residents don’t pick up their dogs waste, so if you go walk around the property, you’re probably going to step in it. It’s disgusting. If you’re considering living here, don’t. Go somewhere else. This place is a rip off, and the apartments aren’t even worth what they’re asking for them.
i have lived at Creek Bay at Meridian Woods for 7 years. It is a community that cares for its residents and it shows. The property manager, Connie, has been and continues to make it a great place to live: affordable, well kept, good maintenance. She goes out of her way to arrange extras for residents, like competitions with incentives; making holidays extra special with related activities. I will stay here as long as i can knowing it doesn't get better than this!
I lived at Creek Bay for three years and just moved out this past weekend. It’s a great apartment complex and I will definitely miss it. The Property Manager and staff were always very kind and helpful. Maintenance was always quick and efficient. I felt safe. It’s a quiet area. The neighbors are friendly. The space is great and affordable. I always received compliments on the space when I had guests. My building was always clean. The pool was always clean and never too crowded. My unit received updated appliances and fixtures during my time there, which was great. I work downtown, so the commute was easy and I loved living near a Kroger and CVS. Creek Bay is definitely one of the best complexes on the Southside and I highly recommend it!

Thank you for the great review. We have enjoyed having you as one of our residents the past three years and wish you the best in your new home.
I absoutley loved living here for my 5 years. Quiet, very nice apartments, great staff.. Until I moved out. I had a dog, never once went to the bathroom on the carpet. When I moved out they sent me a letter charging me $363.00 for carpet due to pet urine. They supposedly took pics of my carpet. The pet stain were in a corner I had a large bookshelf caddy corner. If my dog urinated in the apt their is no way in that corner. Plus, my carpet was only 1 year old and looked brand new. In my last walk through the maintenance man even said the Carpet looked brand new. The carpet in the pics was dirty and matted down. I am 120% certain that this was not my carpet. Did they listen.. No. So please be weary in living there. I was a model tenant, no problems, never late on my rent and they want to lie and say my carpet was damaged when it was in perfect condition. Kinda makes me loose faith in humanity when people can lie like this and get a way with it.
We've lived in Creek Bay for 2 years now and we love it. I really love the location, with a grocery store a minute away and it takes less than 20 minutes to get downtown too, which is a huge plus. The apartments are recently renovated and have energy efficient lighting. Our washer/dryer broke midway through the lease and they sent us a brand new high efficiency one thats amazing. We also love the gym, feel very safe, and the other tenants in the complex are very nice and friendly. The office staff is nice and friendly as well. Highly recommend.
I have lived at Creek Bay since January 2015. I have found the current office staff to be very helpful. They bend over backward to make any issues right. The maintenance staff is knowledgeable and they work hard to fix any issues in a timely fashion. I plan on renewing my lease in January and I recommend Creek Bay to anyone.
I have lived here for three years, in two different apartments. The management has changed since I moved in, and these apartments are only getting better. The rent is very fair for the size and quality of the apartments, especially when compared to other apartments in the area. The management is very friendly and very quick to respond to maintenance issues (I've only had maybe two ever). The grounds are very pretty and consistently well maintained, with a nice pool. They have recently added a little trail behind the apartments next to the creek, it is a good place place walk your dog. They seem to have plans to make other improvements as well (they have already updated many of the apartments). The only issue is a slight increase in crime, but police patrol through here and the management is proactive and concerned about the situation. I love it here and would definitely recommend it.
I really enjoyed living here. The apartment is conveniently located near shopping, grocery store, restaurants, and highways, yet set back into a nice quiet area. The staff is excellent! They are so friendly and helpful, and knew me by name whenever they saw me! On the rare occasion that I called with any issue, they responded immediately and took care of it! The only problem I had was with rude neighbors upstairs, and the staff dealt with this promptly! Although my stay was temporary, I was sad to move as the staff was so wonderful, and there were so many great improvements being made!
You know, my neighbors are moving out, to move to another apartment complex just down the street, for $100 more a month. I don't understand why. This is a pretty legit apartment complex. The management is pretty chill, the office ladies are nice and hot. And the scenery really isn't bad. My apartment looks out to the woods, and I have a screened in patio. The maintenance is pretty solid. And the apartments are in decent shape.
I really loved the apartment, I loved how I got to see the 2 bedroom ! I like how it also has a washer and dryer with the apartment which is a plus . It's really spacious !
